I am genuinely surprised to see so many positive reviews for Swyft Energy, as my experience was deeply disappointing from beginning to end.

The initial assessment with Des was excellent — he was professional and helpful. Swyft Energy also impressed me initially with a prompt quote and a discount offer if I proceeded quickly, which suited my urgent need for a new boiler. However, once I signed the contract, the communication became non-existent. Despite multiple calls, I was continually promised a callback from a representative named Jessica — a call which never came until I threatened to cancel after two and a half weeks of silence.

When installation was finally scheduled, the crew arrived at 8AM — but when my tenants asked for a brief 15-minute delay, they simply left without informing anyone. Despite assurances from Swyft Energy that I would be contacted to rearrange, no one called for over a week. To make matters worse, when I followed up, I was told I had incurred a €550 "missed appointment fee" — a fee that had never been mentioned before and that, frankly, was outrageous given the circumstances. It was only after submitting formal complaints and providing video evidence from a neighbor’s camera that Swyft Energy agreed to waive the fee.

The re-arranged installation date took place two months after my initial contract signing, and even then, the day before, I was informed it needed to be postponed again due to an emergency — no mention of a fee that time, notably.

When the boiler was finally installed, the experience was, sadly, no better. The installers were rude and dismissive when I asked questions. Worse still, the installation itself did not match what had been agreed upon: instead of running two pipes discreetly through a corner into a wall, they drilled holes unnecessarily and routed piping across my ceiling — without consulting me at any stage. When questioned about the poor workmanship, the response I received was both unprofessional and insulting. Now, I am left having to hire someone else to fix the mess.

Given the amount of money I paid, the quality of service and workmanship I received is utterly unacceptable.

In summary: Swyft Energy were quick to take my deposit, but completely absent when it came to communication, customer care, or professional standards. I strongly advise others to think very carefully before choosing them. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Swyft Energy to anyone.

Cannot fault the service from start to finish. We had a sales rep knock on our door, who arranged to come back at a suitable time when both of us had finished work. (Great service, not put on the spot etc) when he came back he had reviewed our property for solar panels that would suit the building etc and so had accurate pricing, after checking out latest bills he was able to suggest a package suitable for us. We went ahead and added more panels to future proof. Booking installation and finance was stress free and so simple. The customer service delivery by the admin team, sales team and installers was faultless. The follow ups and even arranging the BER assessment was all taken care of, we didn’t have to worry about anything. The communication was fantastic. I would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat. Thank you.

We got our boiler and flue replaced
From the initial consult with the admin girl Eileen who was very helpful and couldn't do enough from numerous phonecalls to go through everything and the after care was exceptional

From start to finish Swyft Energy were a pleasure to deal with, kept us informed throughout the whole process of the installation of our solar panels, on the day of installation the workers were on time, got the job done and completed on the same day.

Very good communication from the start. Everything was clearly set out and explained and all queries thoroughly answered, very quickly. Initial contact (Andrius) was very pleasant and knowledgeable, not just a salesman, but had the technical knowledge to provide guidance on the optimum installation and to answer all queries.
Work crews were excellent - arrived when they said they would, did the job as they said they would, were very unobtrusive and efficient and left everything neat and tidy, as if they'd never been. All installations, wiring, trucking and connection to the fuseboard were very neatly done with no mess, damage or unsightly cabling left visible anywhere.
And the system is working well since - well done and many thanks.

Installed the entire system including 18 panels across 2 sides of the roof and a battery in 5-6 hours leaving the place spotless.

From start to finish, the Swft team were proactive and communicated really well. The sales process was informative and they took the time to make sure any of my queries were dealt with well. I felt like I was being consulted with. In comparison, other companies were far less interested in addressing my questions and seemed to only care about making a quick sale.

From the first knock on the door from the salesman, through the booking and fitting process Swyft have been a pleasure to deal with. We were especially impressed with Seán the fitter who went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with everything.
Now are panels are fitted they look great and are working well.

The engineer arrived within the time specified. He started the job immediately. When he was finished he showed me everything he done and explained how the boiler works. Overall a very pleasant experience.
