My partner bought me some of the miracle balm after months of having a perioral dermatitis flare up. It has been one of the only things that worked and I would highly recommend it.

However, when I went onto the website to reorder some, it automatically signs you up for a subscription, there are pop ups and banners at every stage trying to get you to add extra items to your cart. When you go to check out there was a banner over the check out button trying to get me to add more products to my cart. It completely distracts from the credibility of the product and feels very scammy and inauthentic. I would rather pay extra and purchase it from a pharmacy than trying to purchase through their website.

Yes, it truly is a MIRACLE, within just a few days I had an excellent improvement in my skin condition. Never used a cream as good as this. Very impressed. What a great product. Highly recommended.

It is way too overated, does not HEAL eczema. And their money back guarantee sucks younhave to literally return your half test item back to them!!! How can I test a product if I haven't used it and it made me suspicious what do they do with the returned tested creams do they formulate it back and use it and sell it again???

The cream works but wow the stench, they really need to do something about how bad it smells. My kids refuse because of how it smells

Terrible experience with their customer service, it took weeks for my initial order to be shipped, continuously received wrong information about timeline, requested to cancel and they keep charging my card for a subscription I never signed up for. I realized only recently that I have been charged 5 months and I have never received any product. No product has ever been delivered! I have contacted them to refund and further requested to remove my information from their system so this doesn’t happen in the future but they have not confirmed that they have canceled this subscription I never signed up for! Terrible experience. Avoid!

The products themselves seem lovely and are made with great ingredients. Unfortunately, we didn’t see any noticeable improvement in our son’s eczema while using them. To be fair, we still haven’t received the wash product, so it’s possible the range is intended to work best when used together.

My biggest issue has been with the subscription and customer service. I cancelled my subscription in writing and have the email chain to prove it. Despite this, the subscription was continued without my permission, resulting in another order being processed and charged.

Even after providing the email correspondence showing that I had cancelled, it has been extremely difficult to have the issue acknowledged and resolved.

It’s disappointing because the products themselves seem nice, but the experience of dealing with the subscription and customer service has completely overshadowed the product for me.

Bought the one-off purchase to try. One month later my card was debited again. Emailed them and they told me I subscribed. They only offer you to continue on with the service or a store credit.
Wish I read the reviews on the scamming of them signing you into a subscription without your knowledge.

Curious though, if I was signed up to a subscription I should have got the discount price they preach when in fact I paid full-price for the "one-off purchase"

Subscription process was impossible to not select for a single purchase. Customer service were unable or unwilling to assist.

It seemed to work for one day, after that it was like it was feeding my eczema. Gross. Waste of money.

Didn’t work for us. Ordered this to try due to my kids having eczema, then it kept arriving in the mail monthly, wasnt a one off, turns out it is a subscription, and they accumulate quicker than you can often use them. Wouldn’t be a problem, if it actually worked as they claimed it would. Disappointed as it didn’t help, didn’t kill the bacterial, eczema still there, just as bad. Seemed to be not much different from any other topical cream we have used, even less effective. Are the claims about this product killing the Staph bacteria that causes eczema scientifically proven and independently verified?

I bought Sven's Island hoping it would provide some relief for my 5-month-old son's eczema flare-ups, especially after seeing the dramatic transformation photos advertised on their website. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype.
​To be fair, it works okay as a standard everyday moisturiser. It keeps the skin hydrated for a bit, but when it comes to actually soothing, reducing, or clearing up an active eczema flare-up, it didn't help at all. We saw zero improvement in his redness or irritation.
​Looking back at the dramatic before-and-after photos they use in their advertising, it feels incredibly misleading. Those results are either extremely rare, best-case scenarios that don't reflect what the vast majority of actual sufferers experience, or they're just using paid actors. If you are looking for a heavy-duty eczema treatment for an infant, I’d suggest looking elsewhere—this just functions as an overpriced basic moisturiser.

Absolute crap. Waste of time. Did nothing for me after 1 month. And they scam you into signing up to a subscription without you knowing and take money out of your account.

Really clunky and confusing website that I found impossible to navigate. Also seems they are trying to hook you into the obligatory monthly subscription. I see all kinds of red flags here.

DO NOT BUY!!! This should not be advertised as a cure for eczema. It will maybe help moisturize but will never heal! Used it for more than a month and it did nothing for my eczema! Tried to contact them for their 60 days money back guarantee and they told me to return the product at my own expense🤦🏼‍♀️. Such a waste of money!

Paid $58 for a cream that simply wasn’t worth the price. I requested a refund based on what was advertised on their Instagram ads, but they asked me to return the opened product.

While I understand their policy to some extent, it raised serious concerns for me about product hygiene and quality control. It makes me wonder whether products returned by customers are being resold. The cream I received could have been previously opened by someone else, and the next customer could receive mine.

If you’re charging $58 for a product that costs around $20 at Chemist Warehouse, I would expect a premium-brand experience with premium customer service and trust standards — not something that feels like a cheap corner shop operation.

Dont waste your money - buy dermaveen which is much cheaper.

This did absolutely nothing & if anything made things worse while i waited 4 days for the miracle to come.

I have venous excema on my lower leg. I bought my first Sven’s order a while ago. It soothed the excema a little. However, I was getting a huge and ugly itchy build up of product on my skin. I soon realised that I had skin bacteria that needed treating. I got a can of prescribed Enstilar for three days and the bacteria and itching settled.
Now, I’m back to Svens as a maintenance schedule. This time I’ll wash with Sven’s special cleanser with its antibiotic feature, rub in moisturiser and then apply the ointment on excema prone areas.
Sven’s balm is very settling on my lips which have sun skin lesions. Additionally I’m using it on cuts and my nails which are severely damaged as I work outside.

The product is great It works for me follow the instructions recommended.
The feeling on my ezcama skin is healing slowly from years of damage from steroid cream.
Be patient and give yourself time to heal.

The product is the first thing that has worked for me in 25 years of hand eczema, weeping, bleeding, pain and burning hands. Topical cortisone products prescribed by dermatologists, & hydrating creams, gloves, medical bandages and non soap washes including those from the eczema society worked very briefly but then didn't after time. All of these have been a huge expense over the years with not much benefit. The cortisone creams thinned my skin making it vulnerable to cuts, splitting and pain.
Sven's garden ointment worked within 3 weeks - my hands have never felt better. I now consistently use the cream each day and I use the ointment twice a day and my skin barrier is better than ever.
I was normally avoiding anything with fragrances but have found this is non irritant and smells nice.
A hand eczema facebook page moderator debunked products that were not approved by them. I however feel that the missing connection all these years has been - killing the staph bacteria and supporting the skin barrier. Thank you Sven's island team. You've made a huge difference to me. Although the product is good the customer service is atrocious. I've cancelled my subscription twice but they keep sending the product out every month and take money from my account. The website keeps showing a error when I try to cancel on the site. I cancelled through emails but they don't get back to me. Very disappointed 😞
