My daughter's foundation year here as a disabled student was absolute hell. There was no support and basic things such as having classes in accessible rooms were not forthcoming. She effectively was excluded from tutorials as not able to physically access the classrooms they were held in. Accommodation was a travesty, not clean and on one occasion flooded with sewage. Again accommodation was not properly accessible for someone with a wheelchair. Teaching staff did bare minimum and unsupportive. Admin staff very unhelpful and made it as hard as possible to withdraw from the course. Would not recommend anyone with disabilities go here.

I feel at home and as a part of a community at Sussex. Having both studied and worked here, I cannot recommend the University enough on both parts. Truly transformative.
