Christian was great
Christian was great! Please discuss prices with the team over the phone beforehand before paying the locksmith. Christian was very fast and efficient!
ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USW
Predatory behaviour
My girlfriend locked herself out while I was away and called in a panic. Quoted £150 on the phone then drilled our door and demanded £420. Girlfriend was obviously quite intimidated and paid but felt trapped into doing so.
Essentially a scam
This is essentially a scam service. They charge exorbitant call out and service fees. The also arrived an hour late. Don't use them.
SCAM! Avoid this company at all costs!
Please, do not deal with this company. I’m still shaken by the experience. We called ahead and were told the lock service would be £49—clear and simple. But when the locksmith arrived, that “£49” suddenly turned out to be *just* the call-out fee, and he demanded an extra £120 for the actual job. I was completely blindsided. It felt like a bait-and-switch at a moment we were already vulnerable. But that wasn’t even the worst part. I had children around, and as he left, he used shockingly profane and aggressive language. It was disturbing, completely unacceptable, and deeply upsetting. When I called to report what happened, hoping for accountability, the company denied everything. They acted like we were making it all up. It was infuriating—like being gaslit after already being taken advantage of.This wasn’t just bad service. It was exploitative, dishonest, and emotionally distressing. No one should be treated like this, especially in an emergency.
We were very misled by this company
We were very misled by this company. They grossly overcharged us compared with what they promised when we rang for help, and they did not actually do anything constructive towards repairing the lock.
Altogether a very unpleasant experience.
Do not use this company!
Avoid at all cost. Luckily for us, we refused to pay so the locksmith ended up leaving. Left saying that he going to report us and we will be banned from using any locksmith emergency services?????
Please avoid this company
Like all of the other reviews here. This company is awful and needs to be shut down. The company say that it charges £49 but do not tell you anything else about 'labour costs'. Someone came to open my front door. It took a few minutes and then made up a labour cost of £195. When arguing it they said 'well I had to drive here which took time'. Surely the travel cost is something that is covered within the initial fee for a company that states they will be with you in less than 30 minutes (they took 1 hour). Absolute crooks and the worst kind as they know how to get into your house. You're probably reading this after being stung. I'm really sorry. But if reading this sooner, please please avoid.
Overcharged scammers.
Lost my keys so called them out. Expected cost would be be high as it was late. Had lock replaced in about 12 mins. Charged me £882?!! Quoted me £185 for locks then charged me £250.Charged me £289 for door opening but quoted me a lot less initially. Gave no indication of final cost just did work and then made it all up. Tried to initially charge me £1032 until I queried it and got my calculator out. There is no governing body for locksmiths (why?) so they can make any price up and take advantage of people in a vulnerable situation. You really have to avoid this company it must be the worse out there according to other people's reviews. Won't see my money back but will be a lot more cautious in future. Trust pilot ask you if you want to send the reveiw to Supreme Locksmiths so they can see it but I would be cautious about this as they have your details and might do something. This is how worried I am about this company and it's working practices!
Avoid Avoid Avoid ! Supreme Locksmiths Kensington region
Avoid Avoid Avoid !! Pirates Scam and very well practiced. Hotels that do self checkins around London 3-4 stars are making a market for companies like this by saying guests are responsible for key and access and that a call out fee to staff will be required if you lock your key in your room - then when it happens ( I’m an experienced traveller but old fashioned keys that aren’t in my wallet and after jet lag of long haul and toilet on a different floor - it happened - called the hotel number for staff help and suddenly no one would take the generous call out fee until the following day !! I was barefoot and in pajamas so they suggested I call
Local locksmith - went with a professional looking Sponsored google search and welcomed in a nightmare !
Man on phone confirms a fair call out fee and then Thug arrives and doesn’t even look at the lock but says £295 for the door to be opened -I know locks and this is obscene 5 min mx job so I sk him to leave and state that consumer law is breached when a verbal agreement AND a website quote are completely changed at the site on the day and for nil reason except an assessment of my vulnerable position and ability to pay - he steps into my personal space in very narrow corridor raised a fist and called me a ducking ditch ( I’m a 62 year old woman travelling alone ) - I called the police and said I’d just been verbally assaulted and intimidated physically by a scammer in the property I was renting for 2 nights - hey could not attend - he knows this well repeated response and is even more confident expecting me to cave - I ask him to take the matter to civil court and it will save me downgrading his merchant number by refusal to honour he pushes me and I back away and escape into toilet down stairs lock the door and call the police to update on loud speaker phone - he is swearing at me banging the door but as I give the police all the information I have on him including his rego number he leaves and I photograph him and his car - I’m a strong fit person but this really shook me up - I imagine they have more success with more jet lagged people or post party people - they are bottom dwellers running a well practiced scam - come on London make this harder for them to rip people off!! Hotels with this feedback also owe their customers greater support but I imagine that a profit share is keeping them in on the deal. Really Really bad impression once Insee the depth of reviews here and all the totally fake web pages and reviews on their site CALL anyone else but never let anyone inside the hotel without confirming the job the quote and seeing them speak to you for a few minutes while filming them and their car , ask for ID and film that - if they are legit you will pay something between 60-100 £ depends on time of day - these guys will change their name / site and phone numbers easily so toe proactive steps before you let them in - good luck and strap that key to your wrist
Do not use them. They charged me £400 to open door. Job not even done properly
Charged me £450 to open my door with a drill and job was not done properly.
An absolute disgraceful company
An absolute disgraceful company. Complete con. I left my key in the inside of the lock and closed the door. I then couldn’t get in. Called this company and they arranged to send a locksmith. I specifically asked the cost and was told the locksmith would have to assess, even though I’d told them what had happened. I was asked which lock I Wanted, and went for the medium lock. I am in total shock that for less than 15 mins work I’m given a bill for £600, made up of
Call-out £65
Labour £120
Door opening £160
Lock £155
Well isn’t the door opening labour. I refused to pay this amount and paid £360, I didn’t have anymore money. I’ve called the company and expressed my disgust, and they were not interested. I stated that had I been told it would cost this amount of money I’d have gone with somebody else
PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE A TOTAL CON
Total scam company
Total scam company. Give you a price on the phone, then extort 4 times the price qhwn they arrive.
Spend the time and find a locksmith with reviews!! Beware
Very bad company.
Very bad company.
Avoid!!! They were called yesterday and on getting to the location, they charged £190 for calling them late which wasn’t true because they wrote on there website that they run a 24/7 service and they were going to charge £255 for just opening a lock without damaging the lock. Making a total of £444 and after so much pleading they collected £190 for just opening a lock under 30 seconds.
Why do you have to put on your site that you charge £35 which isn’t true.
This company needs to he shut down because they are scammers.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! These are nothing but scammers and when called out will turn aggressive!!!
Scam
As I was desperate when we called we were quoted £49 for opening door .
However , when the so called locksmith came I was told £239+VAT
It took him 30 seconds to open the door.
Don't believe all the negativity!!
I accidentally locked myself and my 4 year old daughter out of our flat, and a neighbour drilled the lock to get us back in. But, of course, I needed a new lock fitted on my front door. So, the next day I messaged supreme locksmiths and had a phone call back really quick, and he came to my flat within 45 minutes. I admitted to being concerned because of some reviews seen online, but the guy reassured me. He was quick, efficient, and very reasonably priced- and he even interacted with my hyper child, who was fascinated watching him fix the door!
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending supreme locksmiths- don't believe everything negative that you read! Give them a chance!! Thank you so much for all your help.
Scam / avoid
Scam - avoid! In the early evening quoted £450 at the door without damaging the lock, which i refused as extortion. Website quoted from £35. Unethical pricing expecting people to cave under desperation. Ended up paying £120 callout fee after aggressive negotiation. Cannot be a legitimate locksmith with these tactics.
We also have been scammed by this…
We also have been scammed by this company - £750 for a new mechanism which they are meant to return to fit but now denying we ever contacted them. Only made the payment as it was 1am on a Friday which they use to prey on people. I will also be reporting to the Financial Ombudsman and suggest others on here do the same.
