Just system installed by Sun power they have done a first class job professional service Rob the electrian was first class neat and tidy also john at sun power very knowledgeable and helpful I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone 5star experience

From start to finish, John communicated with me throughout the entire installation process. I would highly recommend this company—great service and a great overall experience.

I've recently had a solar install completed by Suns power in March 2026. Absolutely brilliant install! But I shall explain how we got here below.

After having my first solar array installed in December 2025 by a DIFFERENT installer... A roof install with solar and battery storage. It was a council scheme so no customisation was offered and no consultation as to what or where I wanted things. All of my batteries and inverter was put in my garden on an external wall, cables all over the place and overall finish was sub par.

I started consulting with John at Suns power as to his shock he saw the state of the previous install. I came to John with a strange request of installing more panels at the property. On the side wall of my house. My roof was full, and I need more power for heat pump and electric vehicle. This was a first for John as it was me, I've never seen it completed on a wall before, only the odd YouTube video here and there.

After a month or two of planning, we've completed the wall mounted solar array... It's great to meet a director of a company who's as OCD as me. Every single panel placement was to the millimetre/ centimetre, all the cables are tucked away nicely. And best of all, Suns Power removed and relocated my previous inverter and batteries into my garage which is better for temperature, security and aesthetics of the property. I now have a paralleled system with 6 batteries and a property with 35 solar panels. They also sorted out my GTC/ DNO applications and I have full capacity on import and export limits.

I couldn't recommend Suns power enough, and if you're fortunate enough to communicate with John... Make sure you scratch his brain and ask him about all of the information he can provide on solar and batteries. Great company.

The equipment is high end product and from just 24hrs the system is significantly reducing my consumption to put money back in my pocket.

John was excellent throughout the process. Extremely knowledgeable, happy to answer every question, and clearly very experienced in what he does. I work in a similar technical industry myself, so I went into this with fairly high expectations. I’m pleased to say they were fully met, and in many ways exceeded.

The installation was neat and professional, and everything was clearly explained so we understood exactly how the system would perform and how to get the most from it.

Since having the battery storage installed, we’ve already seen a real difference. Even in winter, we saved just over £200 last month simply by offsetting our electricity usage and making better use of cheaper tariff periods.

Overall, a very positive experience and I would confidently recommend Suns Power to others considering battery storage.

A first class installation by Rob who couldn't have been more helpful. Having seen some pretty awful installations posted on Facebook, I was somewhat nervous but John Sent me a number of photos of installations completed by the company so I was re- assured.

Suns Power were excellent throughout my purchase and installation. There was an unexpected fault (not their fault) but John went above and beyond to get it sorted. The aftercare has also been brilliant with remote monitoring and support to get the most out of my system.

I’ve had a good 6 weeks now, to monitor the performance of my new installation.
Firstly, I was impressed by the customer service I received when I was looking to get quotations for an inverter and batteries to complement my already installed solar panels. John was very knowledgeable and answered the numerous questions that I asked him. He also matched the price I had obtained from another company, which tipped the balance in favour of me placing my order for an Hanchu 5kW inverter and 2 Hanchu 9.4 kWh batteries.
I was very pleased with the installation in my garage, which was completed quickly and with no mess, close to the consumer unit (see photos on Suns Power FB post on 23 November). John has also provided excellent after sales service, answering more questions about the Hanchu app, and helping me better understand how my set-up functions.
John recommended the Good Energy EV tariff, even though I don’t have an electric car, as the off peak tariff is only 6.60p/kWh from 12am-5am, which is when I set my batteries to recharge. Looking at my electricity costs, they have so far averaged out under £1.00 per day. This should reduce further when solar generation is more consistent (May-September) thereby allowing me to top-up my batteries on a daily basis.
I’m pleased that I chose Suns Power, being impressed by both their service and price, and would strongly recommend getting a quotation from them.

I recently had my EP12 Fox ESS battery installed by Suns Power, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The installation took place on a very rainy day and initially looked like it might have to be rained off, but Rob pushed on and managed to get everything completed regardless, which I really appreciated.

The inverter and battery were installed exactly where I requested, and the team took the time to explain everything clearly. They also pointed out that my existing EV car charger could ideally have been installed on a separate board, which I found helpful and honest advice.

The app setup and overall installation went smoothly, and John has been superb from start to finish. He explained the install process in detail and showed me how to maximise my usage alongside my existing system. The Fox ESS system is highly intuitive and very easy to use. The app is clear and user-friendly, making it simple to monitor energy. John ensured my system was working and up to date even chasing Fox to push an update through.

Overall, a very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly team. I would highly recommend Suns Power to anyone considering battery storage or solar upgrades.

I was looking to add solar batteries to an existing solar panels set up. Spoke to a number of installers, some of which were just trying to sell you what they wanted without understanding your needs & price range.
I received my initial call from John who took the time to understand my needs & what I was looking to do. He came up with 3 battery suggestions & left me time to decide without any pressure. After I decided to go with Suns Power I was given an install date of 2 weeks later with all the necessary certification being dealt with by John.
On the day of the install Robert carried out the install to a very high standard keeping me informed of his progress throughout the afternoon. Once installed I was shown how to access the app for the batteries & given a fun through of how it works on a basic level.
My first overnight charge worked like a dream & the system is doing exactly as it should. Although I don't anticipate any if I do have any issues I know that John will be on the end of the phone (or WhatsApp) to help.
Thoroughly recommend 5 stars.

Recently had installed a FOXESS battery and inverter system installed. Everything from explaining how the system works, the install, and answering post install questions was absolutely spot on. The rep was amazing in answering any queries, and the guy installing the system was quick, efficient and very tidy.

Highly Recommend Suns Power for Solar Installation! ☀️

I recently had a full solar system and battery setup installed by Suns Power, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The system includes 11 Aiko panels, a FoxESS inverter, and a 10kWh battery an impressive combination that’s already saving me around £4 a day by making my home largely self-sufficient.

John from Suns Power was exceptional throughout the process. He provided a range of options with different brands and configurations, along with a clear, professional proposal outlining the financial savings and carbon offset. His knowledge and transparency made it easy to choose the right setup.

The installation was quick and seamless completed in just one day! By the end of it, I was already generating solar power. The FoxESS system John recommended works flawlessly, giving me easy access and control over both the battery and inverter.

We recently had a new FoxESS battery and inverter installed by Suns Power. Our primary reason for getting the system was to charge the batteries overnight during off peak/night rate and then to discharge over the day.

From the very first phone call, John was professional and knowledgeable. They provided a detailed quote and answered all of our questions without any pressure. The installation itself was seamless. The technicians, arrived on time, was incredibly professional, and kept the work area spotless. They even took the time to explain how the new system works and how to monitor it on the app.

The system has been running for a few weeks now, and it has exceeded our expectations. Our daily bill has dropped from around £5.50 per day to around £1.50 per day.

We are so happy with the entire process and the final result. We would highly recommend John at Suns Power to anyone considering a home battery and inverter installation.

We have been exploring the idea of adding batteries to our 15 year old Solar panels and to do it in a way that did not stop us keeping our very generous FIT. Until we came across Suns Power we were making little progress. John was very open about what his team could and could not do, working so far from their ‘home base’ - we are in Northumberland.
John patiently explained the most efficient and cost effective way to proceed. He also listed and offered to help with all the items I would need to send to my FIT provider. This in itself was impressive, the way he patiently answered my numerous questions was even more so!
Ben drove North to do the fitting which took a little more than one working day. Ben was great to have around and his work was excellent, taking into account my own wishes for installation and suggesting a couple of tweaks that improved things further.
We had a small problem which we noticed a couple of days after installation but John immediately had an electrician at the house to fix it very quickly
I would throughly recomend the service, planning and installation that Suns Power has provided. John’s knowledge and the efforts he put into making sure I had the right system for our needs was exemplary!

In what is becoming a crowded alternative energy sales space, I found John to be refreshingly knowledgeable and honest.

I had a Fox EP11 battery system installed with John. He took the time to explain and make sure we understood everything, and the installation team were equally as good! I would certainly recommend John and Suns Power to anyone considering a battery system.

At the time I was investigating the Tesla home battery but he pointed me in the direction of the Fox battery and hybrid inverter.

As someone who had solar installed 12 years ago, my primary concern was to ensure my FIT’s were not affected.

John provided the completed forms to send to EON to ensure that happens. Eon are currently processing the necessary.

John has responded to what’s app questions within minutes and gave me total confidence with his knowledge. The new battery looks great and works to spec. They are also located just where I wanted them to be.

John came out with some of the equipment that was needed.
Nick was the instalation engineer promptly on site and worked through out the day in 27° the install in the loft space was even hotter , but he got on with it, we made him take a break and gave Nick cold water to refresh him. No mater how tight it was for the space to put the cableing in he did a grand job. Tidy job all round and informed us of what the sysem was and should be doing. Very pleased !
