I usually book trips myself but this one had a lot of elements to it so I decided to ask for the help of Mike and Lyn at Suitcase. It was a wise decision.
We flew to Bergen and took the Hurtigruten ship up to Tromso. From there we flew down to Oslo before taking trains to Copenhagen and then on to Hamburg and Cologne before heading to Brussels for the Eurostar home.
It was a fantastic trip which I'd recommend to anyone but perhaps not all in one go!
Everything I requested was covered perfectly. Nice cabin on the ship and fantastic hotels all very close to main railway stations in the various cities.
I could have sorted the trip out myself but would never have arranged such good accommodation. The Henri in Hamburg was particularly good.
In conclusion, I thoroughly recommend Suitcase Travel, a small and friendly agency who are always there to talk to when you need advice or wish to fine tune the itinerary.

We came across Suitcase Travel purely by chance when researching a Norwegian Coastal Cruise. Mike was very easy to deal with and arranged a much better deal with Havila than we could have obtained by booking direct. He was full of good advice and tips that made our experience so much better. As others have already mentioned we discovered Suitcase Travel when searching the differences between Hurtigruten and Havila for a Norwegian cruise. On Mike's suggestion we opted for Havila and have just spent over 2 weeks in Norway. The Havila Capella was everything we hoped for - luxury cabin, excellent food and drink and very welcoming and friendly staff. The hotels in Oslo, Flåm and Bergen that Suitcase Travel selected were excellent and all conveniently located. All the travel worked perfectly and we definitely feel like we covered Norway in a Nutshell. We took advantage of the luggage delivery service between Oslo and Bergen, which meant we only had hand luggage on the train, a service we would recommend.
Both Mike and Lyn were extremely helpful and responsive to any of our queries. We will definitely look to book with Suitcase Travel again - possibly to see the Northern Lights next time. Thank you Suitcase Travel.

Extremely helpful company with respect to booking a summer holiday in Norway at very short notice. All the arrangements for flights , accommodations and car hire were seamless ( one very small hitch with a payment not received by one centre was speedily resolved) . We came across Suitcase Travel by chance while looking for Norwegian cruises and seeing Mike's blog comparing Hurtigruten and Havila. We contacted Mike and he was so informative we decided to book the Havila cruise. Suitcase Travel put together all our travel arrangements, including airport transfers (bus, train and taxi) and excellently located hotel bookings. Mike and Lyn provided a first class personal service and we would highly recommend Suitcase Travel.

Our trip to Italy could not have gone more smoothly, thanks to the the dedication and perseverance of the Suitcase Team. Having provided us with a quote initially exceeding our budget aspirations, with further development and understanding of our requirements Suitcase were able to re-quote offering a significantly improved budget with no reduction to the detail our trip involved. Four separate hotels in four locations, internal travel arrangements made as well, together with arranging top tickets for a spectacular night at the opera in Verona went without a hitch. Its not our first time using Suitcase Travel and most definitely won't be our last in using this fantastic and personal service for future holidays.

We’ve just returned from an absolutely wonderful and memorable trip to Norway! As with other reviewers, we normally make our own travel arrangements. We started our trip in Oslo and then combined the ‘Norway in a Nutshell’ experience, night stopping in Flam, on our way to Bergen to start our fantastic six-night voyage north on the Havila Capella. When thinking about taking a Norwegian Fjord cruise I happened upon an online article by Suitcase Travel comparing the offering by the Hurtigruten and Havila cruise lines. I decided to telephone Suitcase Travel for more information and was pleasantly surprised by the friendly reception I received. I had a long chat with the owner of this family run business and received lots of useful information about the two companies, their ships, the style of the cruise and the similarities and differences between them. When I decided to book Havila ST took care of all the booking details and gave me advice on various options, etc. Going forward from that all my many questions were answered quickly and fully and communication was very easy. Although I knew nothing of this company before I saw their article I was extremely impressed with them and would recommend them to anyone wanting a truly personal, friendly and reliable service. And best of all, the trip was fantastic, surpassing all my expectations!

Suitcase Travel were recommended to us by friends who had just enjoyed a Hurtigruten voyage and they recently helped us organise our dream trip to Norway. Mike and Lynn listened to our wish list and took care of all the important details and we were left to relax and enjoy every minute of our holiday. I normally book our travel directly myself but on this occasion we had a rather complicated schedule (4 different hotels, 6 night coastal voyage, 3 flights) and I was very happy to benefit from their advice and capable organisational skills. This was our first experience of a river cruise - and it was wonderful.
