Very Good clear sound
Lightweight for foldback. Plenty of power. Nicely voiced. Easy to set up and use.
For the money there are the best speakers around they are similar to the DXR's without the price tag. The put out 130dB and have inbuilt limiters to protect the drivers and best of all they sound great. Many speakers these days are designed for DJ work and are bass heavy. Yamahas have a more even sound and work with all music types. So if you're looking at budget speakers like Beh*****s or Alt***s or similar spend a bit more and get a Yamaha DBR you won't regret it!!! Lightweight, gutsy speaker for stage or front of house. Drive them hard they still sound great.
Great speaker by Yamaha. Definitely worth paying the extra money for a well constructed speaker which gets pretty loud!
Love these little speakers they are loud and perfect for floor monitors
Initially I wondered if the DBR10 had sufficient power (specs are in decibels and not watts anymore!) - but after learning how to set it up properly, I realised that it suits my practice room well.
Had to exchange the 2nd 10" speaker to another 12" as that seems to work well with what we wanted to used it for.
Great little powered speaker. I use it as a foldback monitor with 2 DBR12's as mains. Im only using this rig for duo work and its perfect for what I need in terms of volume and clarity
Gotta love these (I bought two), very versatile, well-build yet light, lovely sound. Haven't tested them in a gig situation yet, but I am looking forward to doing so, I'm sure these will shine.
I use it for karaoke = REALLY GOOD. If anything, it would be much better if it has a remote to balance between feedback and loudness of microphone.
These are great 10" speakers for keyboards. Plenty of clean power without the wooliness of 12" speakers. You can trust the flat response, so you can comfortably work with that within the sound module's EQ settings. They're so light to carry, it surprises me after each session. Being able to add a sub later, with the 100 or 120Hz roll-off switch, is very future proofing too. But so far, a sub isn't needed. Plenty of smart light weight technology going on inside these gems.
