Query re access and terms of context proffered and signed
Good morning, please don't interpret the rating as personal to the staff that I engaged with for this period of rental, it is due to the following:
- I was informed that I would have 24 hour access
- this is a preference given I am moving things to and from Melbourne, and when unable to access my storage at 2258 on 1$ oct 25, the message indicated I was unable to access the site until 0500. Contact with the support number on the screen revealed that access times have been scaled back due to a fire in the centre this narrative is about.
This should have been disclosed at the beginning of the rental (both fire and access limitations). As it stands it cost me 2 months rental paying for accommodation as the window for the return trip to Melbourne was made impossible by not having access. This is location specific, 24 hr access is standard with the 2 storage king depots closest to Dee Why.
I would be interested to read what you recommend as a possible resolution to this pickle.
Because it could look like that you are uncertain of the cause of said fire, and that you could be trying to recoup the costs of historical incident through non disclosure. I will leave the question of insurance until I have received your response.

Hi Dean, we appreciate your feedback and understand your concerns regarding access limitations. We strive for transparency, and as such all terms around access are clearly set out in our rental agreements. We did offer to make an exception to the standard access hours to allow your removalist from interstate to access your unit. For the record, we have not had a fire at this facility so we're not sure why this was allegedly communicated to you? In any case, we're sorry for any inconvenience caused.

The staff at Dee Why Storage King were extremely helpful to us when setting up a storage locker for the first time. They might not be the cheapest but their service is excellent.

Seamless process
We have had a great experience from start to finish. Godwin has created a seamless process, from helping discern which storage unit would be best for us, to boxes and specific materials for our packing process and just answering any questions in between. Would highly recommend.
