Very frustrating experience
Very frustrating experience. I was quoted a unit for $39/month and noticed that the lease document sent over to me stated $69. I tried contacting the storage facility and they will not honor what they quoted to me via phone. Regional manager stated he listened to the call and that I was mistaken. I've asked if I could listen to the phone recording with them and they refused. I am a very thorough person so I know for a fact that I would've asked and confirmed every little detail INCLUDING MONTHLY PRICE prior to providing them payment information.

When we first got our storage unit…
When we first got our storage unit everything was ok until we changed to a smaller unit. They unlawfully took money from my checking account to pay another month for the unit we moved out of. They said they would return the money and did not.
Next instead of transferring the renters insurance info they decided to charge me 24.97 for a protection plan on a $19 a month unit bringing the price to over $45. We are forced to find another storage company.

Stuart was great
Stuart was great. Booked last minute (on the day) and chose a room too small (my fault) but Stuart sorted a larger unit no problems whatsoever. Access was fine, unit was fine. Paper work etc was a breeze.

I found storage mart when I was looking…
I found storage mart when I was looking for storage, and paid online. After my card payment went through it was 65.86 and not 29.50! Then I tried to immediately cancel because that was double what I expected and they said I might be able to get my money back! Might??!! They gave the local number and they haven't answered me at all. Horrible experience!

Top notch customer service!
I had a storage unit here for approximately 2 years. I didn't even go into it for a year and thought it would be all a destroyed disaster being it was an outside end unit! To my suprise all my belongings are in prefect condition! I only had one Christmas decoration chewed by a mouse (which I also found right next to it! LoL) and my antique metal chest has some more rust from condensation but that is to be expected.
In my eyes that is pretty amazing!! Thank you Joanne for being so pleasant and happy every time we spoke, you are such a treat and a ray of sunshine to deal with! You truly are a great lady and if is was not for your kindness and compassion to start with, I may have rented from somewhere else. I'm so glad I decided to use StorageMart in Milton!

Unexpected price increases
We have been in this storage place for many years and through many new owners. And since the recent owners (Storage Mart) we had to move units to a smaller one to get our price down because they immediately doubled our unit price. So the new unit was reasonable and in the year since then they have doubled our price again. With each increase there has been no warnings and no reason why. It's very frustrating. We do not recommend this company at all!! The only reason for 2 stars is because the people that are on location working there are pretty nice.

My wife and I have recently been at this storage facility for about 3 months now. We've had to transition to a different storage unit internally and Alyssa has been not only professional and courteous but has gone above and beyond for us. It's people like her that would make me choose this storage unit over any other in San Antonio and people like her are very rare! We're thankful to be there and grateful for all that Alyssa does! I'd give 10 stars if it would let me.

The whole process to find and select a storage unit was very easy and quick. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The facility is clean, new and hi-tech. We feel fortunate to have found this.

The on-site personnel are very professional and friendly. They take great care of the premises, facilities and storage units. My garage-like use is well-protected by the latest video surveillance technology, perimeter security, physical access controls and electronic entrance gate security. Good but they need to replace the manager
I have been using the facility at 875 Don Mills in North York, Ont., for years. Overall, the experience has been positive, but only when interacting with the younger staff, who are periodically replaced. However, the facility manager has recently demonstrated questionable behaviour. He seems to think he is so big boss and has begun to be openly rude to customers.
