I am retired 73 year old my wife is a blood dialysis patient with high diabetic and high blood pressure problems. Because of this a finacial adviser Ramon Goldman from the stern option trading company now they changed the name to sternmarkets advised me to invest in stern trading to cover the high medical bills. Therefore I had deposited 211,260.00USD all my savings. This was in July 2017.On 10.November,2017 I have asked the manager of my account Ramon Goldman for withdraw of 30,000.00 USD because I had to pay some hospital and medical bills for my wife. On 15.November I was making the last tradings with Mr. Daniel Woods.
17.November,2017 still got no answer for the withdraw and I sent a email to compliance stern asking for termination of the trading contract, because of to much private problems.
The balance of my trading account had been on this time 237,600.00USD.
In January 2018 my account was zero USD but I was not trading since 15.November 2017.
Have asked Ramon Goldman and Compliance Stern where is my money, still have no answer.
So sternmarkets have stolen my money. This are the biggest Gangsters.
Sternmarkets previously known as Stern Options is a scam. You can never withdraw your money. IF you realise an account and ask to withdraw any monies, suddenly your money has gone and your broker has disappeared. Funny that. Then you are blocked from going on the site. The FCA has put out a warning on both so really it`s a must stay away from as they cannot be trusted.
Sternmarkets is a scam!
(I just realised that my review I wrote was anonym which makes any review unreliable so I copy/pasted it after logging in.)
Sternmarkets is the successor of SternOptions which earned a very bad (1 star) rating here on TrustPilot and it seems like the name change did not change the bad practices at all.
I joined SternOptions back in the days in the second half of 2017 and even though I stated clearly that I did not want my capital to be frozen in any way my account manager (Kevin Walton) lulled me into a deal which demanded the use of a bonus. He claimed that even though I'd not be allowed to withdraw my original investment and the bonus itself, the profit would be accessible no problem.
It turned out to be untrue so even though a significant profit had been realised on my account, it was only a number on the screen as all the money (incl. profit) become inaccessible until I would reach a trading volume 30 times of the original investment. Directly after that Kevin Walton disappeared even emails come back from his address.
When SternOptions some months later became SternMarkets they arbitrarily changed this volume multiplier to 80 without even informing me either in writing or by calling me. I found out about it months later when I decided to ignore previous lies and misleadings and initiated communication with them in the hope of getting my money back by playing by their rules.
It's important to mention though, that the leverage is not calculated into the volume so if you make a trade with 1000 USD it counts as 1000 USD into the volume as well no matter the leverage is 1:5 or 1:100. So you have to make 80 successful trades with your initial investment to reach the volume.
Without any real help from Stern I managed to reach the volume yet by losing pretty much all the "profit" they helped to create at the beginning.
In the meantime I got another account manager Eric Doukas who sent some trading tips which sometimes worked alright sometimes did not. At the beginning he used to be responsive and even called me a couple of times then he also disappeared without a word. After contacting customer service several times (which always responds both on online chat or phone and acts in a supportive and professional way, but doesn't seem to be able to see through anything) I learn that he allegedly got sick seriously and that's why I did not hear from him.
After all I got another account manager: John Sarraf who finally confirmed that the trading volume had been reached so I requested a withdrawal of 1861 EUR (of the 2861 EUR on my account) first on January 31 2019. John Sarraf offered me that he would send me 500 EUR instead and put some more bonus on my account which offer I obviously rejected. Then he requested me to send my bank account details so that he can conduct the transfer. I sent him the details the same day but ever since then he never replied any of my emails. (which was a lot)
Then I called the Scottish customer service and they claimed that my account needed to be verified before any withdrawal. Even though my account got verified at the very beginning, I fulfilled the request and send all the necessary documents the same day.
Days later after several other phone calls from my side they said that there was "investigation" issued on my account to find out if the volume in fact has been reached even though John Sarraf had confirmed it. No feedback about the result came ever since.
After calling customer service almost on a daily basis after all 3 days ago I got the info that I have a "new" account manager who was gonna take over my case and would contact me shortly. The new account manager was Eric Doukas again who even sent me a trading tips in a bulk mail. I emailed him right away and asked to contact me ASAP but for this day nothing happened.
I'm totally and utterly fed up with Stern's treatment and the reluctance to send my money I requested. I decided I'm not gonna spend more time and money to call your customer service and consider this whole thing a scam. I'll wait until next Wednesday and then I'm reporting the whole case to the police if nothing happens and that's all.
Companies like SternMarkets are making the world a worse place to live in and I'm certain I'm not the only person they have caused a lot of stress and financial loss to. Such companies ruin lives, make families break up, some may even commit suicide due to their malpractices.
It's a shame that there are so many of them!
I don't recommend dealing with them in any way.
(I wanted to send this review to them as well via TrustPilot but their mail has an ending of stern-mail.com)
