Easy & affordable resource for stencils. "Design Your Own Custom Stencil" is a great option with a decent variety of fonts. Turn-around time is fast. Will definitely come back to Stencil Ease!

I must say that it was very quick and receiving my stencil upon ordering. Also I felt that they were very responsive to questions that I had before and after the purchase. I do feel that for $200 it was very flimsy. I expected a better quality. It did the job and hopefully I won't have to use it again but it definitely wasn't worth $200.

I am sorry that you were unhappy with the quality of our stencil. We use a 10 mil mylar which is flexible and very light and thin but it also one our most user freindly and best performing stencil materials we have.
I will agree that the material is very thin, it is very light, and it is very flexible. All characteristic which make it a great stencil.
Thin material allows you to roll spray or brush with this stencil thicker stencils are only suitable for spray. it also preculdes excess paint build up along the painted edges which would be a problem on a shuffle board stencil.
Flexible means that the stencil will lay flat and close to the surface even if it is not perfectly flat. you can also store it rolled up and not worry about it laying flat again when you need it a few years from now.
Light makes it easy to use on vertical as well as horizontal surfaces and keeps shipping costs reasonable.
The material is made of mylar which is one of the toughest plastics out there. it is the base material of those balloons that never pop. We like it because it does not stretch, and the material itself is nearly indestructible. Please try to rip, tear or pull apart that stencil.
It is chemically stable so that you can use most paint solvents to clean the stencil after use.
Anyway that stencil can do hundreds of shuffle board courts so I would clean it and roll it up and it will be ready when your paint fades.
I also understand that you are not crazy about the price. It is expensve for its weight but we make the stencil is made from large sheets of plastic and unfortunately due to its shape we have alot of waste plastic which is recycled but is included in the cost. Also as it is a large stencil. we ahve to use a large and realtive expensive laser cutter to make it. Finally it ends up in a long box which though light, gets extra charges from UPS and Fed Ex. We do not charge for shipping on this product so it is included in the price.
I provide all of this information so that you can understand that we are trying to be thoughtful, fair and reasonable. We have sold hundreds of thiese products and while not perfect we hope that we are finding the right balace bewtween all the various parameters of cost and quality.

I called Stencil Ease, I was looking for a Shuffleboard Stencil. I was greeted with kindness, and courtesy. I am from Canada so was expecting complications and delays. But Stencil Ease made it easy, and shipping was 3 days later, sooner then I expected. The quality of the Stencil is very good, and can be used over and over again. Thank you
