Hi Michelle,
I am sorry that you had difficulty with shipping. This has been a growing problem and i am not sure what we can do about it.

in your case we dleivered the package to UPS on Nov 18th and you did not get it until early Dec. 2 i believe.

We use all three of the major shippers, UPS Fed Ex and USPS . All of the services are getting increasingly expensive and all have delivery delays. COVID has made the situation worse and there is not much we can do. They are monopolies andwhen we call into them we get the call wait time and lack of response as you do.

UPS and Fed Ex do not provide commercial users a guarantee so if they do not deliver or lose the package and make no statement on delivery times. If we pay for 2 day delivery and they deliver in 5 days we still are charged the 2 day rate!!
The one thing good about UPS and Fed Ex is they almost always get the package there. They rarely lose the package which is why we use them often.

I am sorry but statistically we get this about 1-2% of our orders being more than 3 days late or lost, You were the unlucky one.

Hi Joe,

I am sorry that you encountered some warping. As paint builds on a stencil it can over time casue warping.

What is happening is that the paint when it dries will shrink and it will put stresses into the stencil.

To get it back flat all you need to do is to clean the stencil. Once the stencil is cleaned it will be flat again. And paint does not stick too well to the stencil so it is usually easy to come off,

If you are using the same stencil alot on a single day there are some tricks to keep the paint from sticking to the stencil.
1. Spray the stencil top with silicon spray, wd 40 or even water. This will stop the paint from sticking and it can be wiped off really easily as you go.
2. Try to minimze the amount of paint that is applied to the stencil. If you are careful only about an inch or less of spray should be on the edges of the stencil openings. ( remember the paint on the stencil is wasted and on most jobs the cost of the paint is more than the stencil.
3. For really commonly used stencils our professionals use the 1/8th inch LLDPE. It is more expensive and thicker and will not bend as much as the thinner 1/16th gauge stencil material. I would always recommend that for stencils that you intend to use more than 12 times in a single day.

Hi Nastacha,
As we have discussed, we provided you a custom stencil for your wood basketball floor.

We have been selling these types of stencils for years and they have been applied to wooden floors of all types. Not only our company but other companies sell the same types of stencils that can be applied to wood surfaces.

I sent you links to you tueb vidoes showing multiple people stenciling wooden floors with stencils made the same way we make ours.

So our stencil absolutley a stencil that would absolutely work. however your painters are clearly not familiar with basic stenciling technique. You sent our team a picture of what they had done which showed very clearly that they had overloaded the roller and flooded the stencil.

If our stencil was defective in any way we would absolutely replace it. But in this case the entire issue is an application issue and you should be going after your painter. not us.

I am sorry that you are in this position and i wish that we could have worked through this problem better but we could not find a way.

I am sorry that we got the wrong size out to you.

We try to get things accurate on each order and normally do a good job but this was one where one person made a plotting error and nobody caught it. I am very sorry about the delay to you.

Hi Carolyn,

I am sorry that you had trouble cutting bristol paper. I am not familiar with that type of paper but i have used the Gyro cutter very effectively on oil board including the heavy duty 15 pt oil board and most craft style paper that we have here. I tried to use it to cut the backer board from the back of a pad of paper. This backer board is fairly thick perhaps 1/32nd of an inch.

I was able to cut through the board but it took a tone of pressure and while I could cut some curves it was difficult to cut small radiuses. I am both fairly strong in the hands and pretty experienced with the cutter so i am sure many people would struggle to cut that board.

I am not sure how thick your bristol board is, but if your board is the heavier paper ( it goes up to 400 pt) it is likely problematic.

We will soon bave the Gyro cutter Pro version which has a few different blades including some that can handle thicker products and i look forward to testing that.
