Fantastic service, quick response and speedy repair. Ps5 suffered blue light of death randomly and was fixed within a day and a half (I dropped it off late on Monday) . Fair price and excellent knowledge and aftercare. Fully recommend.

Son had a little accident with his ps5 pro and broke the hdmi port. Contacted Steel City I.T and within a couple of hours they had my son’s PlayStation. Within 2 days it was repaired and at a good price.

Rang to ask why my joys could be drifting, was told he could fix this, not much explain of causes as a non technical person trusted h what he was saying - one assumed it was the rails but was told the joy con had drift shift or whatever it’s called. Charge of £40, ok that’s fine if it fixes it.
Anyway took the whole thing including joy cons to be fixed - collected said item and the item was doing the exact same, item was not fixed. Contacted company and told I need to clean the rails - did this - still not working - was then told it would cost more to have it looked at and could be rails.
Nah you’re ok. If I’d know it would be £40 for nil out if it if have bought new joy cons at the same time but wasn’t told this at beginning - again I assumed he would fully resolve the issue for £40!
Anyway decided to sack it off and buy new console.
Conclusion
Do not recommend this company - poor communication - bad attitude and not fixed my issues and still took my £40

My son broke the ps5 so found this guy on internet . Luckily for me he only lived 10 mins away and I am so glad i did. Fixed my PlayStation within 2 days, was absolutely a top man. Cheap as well!!

I had a laptop that that was no longer charging due to a dodgy usb c port. Reached out to Richard as he was local and answered my query promptly with a clear indication of the cost of repair. Once he had it he was able to quickly confirm the cost of repair and only proceeded when I gave the ok. I was kept up to date with the work and shown pictures to show what work he had completed. The laptop is now functioning perfectly. Thank you.

Brilliant experience and I have a working Xbox again, the price was fair and I'd definitely return if I need anything tech in the future even though I have to travel quite a distance, I read previous reviews and glad I chose Rich and Steel City IT, those reviews weren't wrong
