A cancellation within four days of a wedding when booked over eight months in advance is honestly quite ridiculous, which no amount of poor attempts to save face will really cover for.

If only we could have given 0 stars. Ironic for a company called Star Coaches. Our son booked coaches 8 months ago for his wedding. They cancelled 4 days before the big day. The epitome of poor service. Avoid at all costs.

Cancelled on us 4 days before our wedding. 90 guests unable to get to our venue and no ceremony.

We had a booking with Star Coaches for 8 months to transport 90 guests to our wedding venue. Access to the site was trickier than usual but is more than possible in a bus (as other companies have made the journey plenty of times before), and this was outlined and clear from the start.

4 days before our wedding Star Coaches cancelled on us. Leaving us with no way to get any guests to our wedding ceremony (you can’t drive there in a car). 4 days before their actions essentially would leave us with no wedding.

This obviously caused a huge amount of stress and we had to completely replan our ceremony venue at 4 days notice, incurring an additional £4500 of costs. All because of Star Coaches’ conduct.

This booking was made 8 months ago, and not once in that time, until 4 days out, did they raise concerns or seek additional information from me.

Avoid this company at all costs

Called for price for 5 quotes for 5 coaches but told will be tomorrow.
Called back and the lady was so rude and did not care . Even put me on hold and when a voice came back I stated what had gone wrong it turned out to be another customer complaining ( 2 customer complaining to each other about the rubbish service from Star travel in Batley).
Breach of data protection and when Called back to tell them they don't care.
Even the so called operations manager doesn't care and will not addressed the complaint.
Wow.
Avoid the company at all cost .

A great day out in London from Leeds with drivers Mobeen and Imran who were friendly and helpful throughout the Journey and back. A* hosts for the Star Coaches team and would definitely use again.

Excellent customer service from start to finish. Driver arrived on time on both occasions. Buses were clean, modern and comfortable.

We went to scarborough on Saturday 21st of September 24. It was a pleasure to go with star coaches from the staff handling our booking. To our driver. Yousaph. He was a great bloke nothing too much trouble our club trip was for people with learning difficulties. They all loved the trip and yousaph was brilliant and patient with all of us will use again and recommend with no hesitation. 11 out of 10 .

Booked a weekend break through Caledonian to Stratford/Warwick Castle and we were taken by Richard working for Star Coaches. We couldn't fault any part of the break. Richard was polite, fun and knowledgeable throughout the two days and he really did make our break enjoyable from start to finish. Caledonian had combined two trips with the majority going to Warwick Castle on the second day and less than a dozen going to Leamington Spa which didn't make it easy for him to make sure everyone had a decent amount of time in the two areas which were half hour apart but he did everything he could to ensure both parties had a decent amount of time. He also pointed out Landmarks en-route which made the 2.5 hour journey interesting and unique. Thank you for a perfect weekend away.

The driver and company are amazing I can not complain there all very friendly funny and caring, but unfortunately the coach it's self is extremely uncomfortable very little space for your legs and this of course depending on the amount of travel hours is that it cuases extrem pain is extremely uncomfortable, for longer trips that may be 8hrs there and back maybe should leave around 5.30 to 6.30 as it leaves you with very little time especially if the journey there is unfortunately blocked up with a lot of others traveling too, especially with how uncomfortable the journey is it would be nice to have at least two rest stops again depending on the amount of hours and lastly all children should automatically be placed next to their parents regardless of who's booked first as its extremely distressing for children to be so many seats away this also creats issues for the parents to be able to control their children and prevent them from misbehaving etc the driver did place myself and children together but unfortunately grown adults then made a massive issue about this upon finding us in their seats to which point we where then placed apart in seats we didn't even pay for in the first place upon arrival most of us had issues where by the toilet on board wasn't in use leaving us holding it in for two plus hours with only one rest stop leaving my child with a bladder infection the next day the day was nice but unfortunately we did not get more then a few hours before having to head back

Top service as always from our driver Neil, used Star many times and will continue to do so, would fully recommend.

Just a shout out to you guys and Dean our driver on Sunday. 1st pick on time 2nd pick up time nice steady drive to Liverpool. Parked up as we were early the road was conened off ,but Dean dropped us and contacted me to let us know the situation. Good drive back ,all in all great service from start to finish.

I would like thank this coach company for leaving us and 2 others at Wembley after the Hull kr vs leigh final. The driver said we aren't going anywhere until after 7pm but had gone before 6:45pm. Disgusting

Experienced 'close passes' now a couple of time by Star Coaches drivers. As a regular cycling commuter a close pass is a very dangerous experience, especially when it's done by a large coach. Star drivers are oblivious to the latest highway code and have no consideration to other vulnerable road users in my experience. Despite contacting them on two occasions to report their dangerous drivers I have had no response at all, despite what it says on their website about being considerate to any complaints. Hopefully they will notice a more public review and take some action before someone gets killed. Be aware before using their services!

Very bad experience! I booked coach for flamingo land they said 480 but i asked for a stop at restaurant on the way back for one hour they said then price will be £530. I paid £530 in advance but on the day driver said they didn’t put stop on my list driver was also very rude when I called in office the owner of company instead of apologise he asked me £50 pounds more I explained him I already paid for stop but he was also very rude instead of looking after his customers he said we can drop you at restaurants and 50 people book taxis from there and go home. Their driver don’t go in streets to pick you up the stop half a mile far from your house on main road. Very disappointed with the service and the behaviour of driver and owner. When I asked from JBL coaches for same journey with an hour stop at restaurant they gave price 500 which was much better i should have booked jbl coach instead because we had to come back hungry with star coaches with no sympathy
