Went in for glasses for the first time…
Went in for glasses for the first time in my life. I had an injury which has me blind in one eye. I made them fully aware of this and was looking for glasses with a prescription in the other eye to improve my distance vision. After being evaluated by the virtual doctor it seemed like she found the correct prescription but refused to proceed because she couldn't get a reading on my blind eye. So I was sent to an in person doctor across town a couple days later because it would have been a month before he was back at this location. When I saw the doctor he was confused to why I was sent to him since the virtual doctor found my prescription for my good eye. He wrote the prescription and I was then sent back to the original office to get them made. I went there and he said I have the lenses and can make them in a few hours. I told him I would come back the next day to pick them up. This was a Saturday. I went back on Monday and he said "did you get a message they were ready?". I told him no and he said only one pair was but the other should be later that day. I came back 2 days later on Wednesday and checked on them again and they gave them to me. Later that evening I get a message that they are ready. Between that and the annoying high pressure up selling I had a bad experience with Stanton and will not be returning.

Everything went smoothly the only thing that was a little shocking is that it takes 2 weeks to receive you glasses. I'm used to dealing with places that take 1 week or less. Other than that, all was great!

Super overpriced. Everytime i come to pick up my contacts, even though i receive texts - they are never there. Last exam wouldnt save, had to re-do it again.

The entire process was gear to get you i to the store and then explain little and.then charge for everything. To be honest I book an appointment by mistake .I was thinking I made it with the other eye clinic across the street but end up at your store.
Ok just to mention one of the many thinks that happen while doing the consolation I was told I could get the changeable lens for $59.00 extra once I pay.i paid leave the store call back to add the changeable lens was told by the guy it's now 159.00 .I got my glasses without them and about to take them to the original store across the street because your store seen to be scam
Was told exam is free only to be charge for it.
Two glasses another scam .
Would never ever come back.

There were not many options for frames…
There were not many options for frames in my price range. Was very dissapointed. Had to buy a frame I was not crazy about. In the past they had a much better selection. I should have used one of my old frames as I have a huge collection from all the years I have been going to Stanton over the years!The person who helped me was very nice and helpful. Wish I could remember her nameI will certainly do business with them again.
