I went to Stanton Optical for contacts. I had the worse experience with them. I tried a few different contacts. Went back a couple of times. Finally, there was a pair that I tried on when I went back that seem to work and the manager told me it will take time to get use to them. So I ordered the contacts. I still had problems with the contacts and I decided to wait until my insurance went into effect. Once I did, a couple of months later I had my eyes checked again. The contacts that I got from them writ perfectly. Stanton Optical prescription was incorrect. I did call them and told them of the situation and asked if they would take back the boxes of contacts I purchased and possibly switch with the correct contacts which I thought was fair since they gave me wrong prescriptions. Of course they wouldn’t. I can’t remember how many contacts I had to try on when I was there and I think they should have rechecked my eye but they didn’t. I go to another location with an actual optician on the premises and they got it right the first time. I called to make a complaint about this and advised them of my situation and I was told they will investigate and get back to me. I have not heard back from anyone. I was not asking for my money back, which I should have. I just wanted them to exchange the contact lens which I purchased from them and can’t use (boxes where not opened) for the correct contact lens. Had they had it right, I wouldn’t had to go to another optical office. Don’t go there. Everything is done with optometrist online. Why else would I have seen another optometrist in just a few months if they had prescribed the correct contact lens. Ridiculous.

I went in with a nearly 2 year old prescription from America's Best. You did new eye exam with a less strong prescription. You said my eyes may have improved. I feel that I needed that stronger prescription. Things are not as clear as they were.

Great staff and quick. Definitely would recommend to anyone who need a quick prescription glasses.

My name Philip Rivera, I'm a United States Veteran, when I went to your optical it was in a emergencies situation. I have lost my glasses and needed one fast. I was told it was a fast and good service all I needed it was to take the eye examination pick the frame and go 7 to 10 days for just $395.00. Wao it sounds to good to be true but I went forward I really was in a need for glasses, I'm a senior citizen plus 64 year old. One pair will arrived after 10 days and I couldn't see correctly I went to the store they try to fix then in store and made some adjustments to it, I still did not see correct but I needed then. My second pair never arrived they made a re-ajustment to the order and change my frame they believe that was the cause in the first place I needed a bigger frame but they still did not change the first one until my 3rd visit to the store. Time went by so my appointment to VA finally came up. I had my eyes checked deeply. I got my new VA glasses for free, that I should have wait from the beginning to start with, VA Notice that my glasses from your optical were done wrong my site were switched incorrectly. L to R, Right was my L. Yes they fix the issue using my VA prescription after I pay $395.00. But again I was in need of glasses. Still today I have not received my glasses and I was clearly from the beginning I was traveling out of Orlando Florida on the 25th of May 2026, 4:00 am. Now I really want a honest, truly and respectful answer if this was a good service in behalf of your optical. Again I pay $395.00 for what if they used my VA prescription for corrections. I'm located at the Dominican Republic something I also told then, my glasses to be shipped to Puerto Rico and then my son will ship to me in DR. I'm not happy at all we are not just talking about a $79 offer special, finally paying $395 and still with out glasses. I'm a United States Senior Citizen who service my country . You tell me if this is way to be treated. The you for your concern hope to hear from you.

The staff was fantastic and very accommodating. My husband has mobility issues and they made his exam and testing a breeze. They went out of their way to help us with our purchase and expedite our order since we were leaving soon and he had lost his glasses. I highly recommend this location for their kindness.
