My glasses broke and I needed a quick turnaround on new pair as I was leaving for an extended vacation. The staff was super helpful and helped me find the perfect frames. The glasses came in ahead of schedule, and lenses were perfect. Thanks to the team at River city, I’ll be able to enjoy my vacation!

I travel frequently for work and needed to get a new prescription as quickly as possible. To be honest, eye doctor appointments have always given me a bit of anxiety because of vision issues I’ve dealt with in the past. However, from the moment I walked into the office, the entire staff immediately put me at ease with their professionalism, kindness, and genuine care.

The team was incredibly informative throughout the entire process and made everything seamless from start to finish. They took the time to answer my questions, explain each step, and ensure I was comfortable along the way. What really stood out was their positive energy, fun spirit, and exceptional communication—it created an experience that was both efficient and enjoyable.

It’s rare to find a team that combines expertise with such outstanding customer service. I truly appreciated the care I received and will absolutely be a returning customer. Highly recommend!

Great customer service was told it would take a week and a half for my glasses to be ready for pickup but 2 days later I was told they were ready for pickup very satisfied with the overall experience and definitely will be using this place again in the near future for any visual services of mine

Honestly if I could give zero stars I would. The experience started off okay with the exam and simply went downhill from there. Nobody really helped me with picking frames ir explaining the price differences. I settled on 2 frames and placed the order. I was given a promise date that was exceeded. I then received my glasses, they were extremely stretched out when I received them. I returned to the store to address the issues and was the gaslighted by an employee who tried to tell me the glasses were supposed to be that way. I then pulled the same glasses off wall to show them they should not be that stretched out. The associate then proceeded switched the lenses into the frames from the wall, I requested she stop and asked if there was an unworn pair available and if there was not stated I’d like to just have a reorder done. She then spoke with another associate about reordering, the associate told her to proceed and she then attempted to dismiss me stating I was no longer needed. They were not going to provide me with a receipt of the reorder or any proof of confirmation. Upon receiving the new pair of glasses I ran into the same issue, the frames were stretched out and loose. Even after trying to tighten they still loosened after a day or 2. I went back into the store and proceeded to choose a pair of Gucci frames to replace the other metal frames I originally chose. I paid a price difference of $230 in addition to my previous purchase and they received the other metal frames back upon pick up of the Gucci frames. Again the return time window was exceeded. Once I finally received my Gucci glasses had them for roughly a week or so and the nose piece snapped off. For $400 frames you would think they’d be better quality. Anyways, I went to the store to address the issue…. I was told the policy had changed on Gucci frames and the return process AFTER my purchase. I requested a refund for the Gucci frames, and the remainder cost for the Carter frames. I then asked for them to remake my Champion frames (Ones that kept stretching out) and the store associate assisted with placing an order for Elite frames with the same transitional lenses as the champions. However there was still going to be a price difference between the Elite and Champion frames so the associate offered to give me a pair of Elite frames in Grey with my regular prescription non transition lenses to make up for the price difference. I agreed and was satisfied with this choice along with the refund for Gucci frames. Upon trying to process the refund for the Gucci frames they somehow refunded my original order and cancelled the remake for my glasses. However they did not refund the $230 difference I paid for the Gucci frames. All this took place in February…. Here it is in May… I still have NO GLASSES and they owe me an explanation for the price difference on the remake of glasses and how they are trying I make it equivalent to $230 for ONE PAIR! I was told by the store manager Brandon my glasses were being remade and would be done by 4/20/26…. Never recieved a call. Contacted store on 4/30 spoke with Pilar who couldn’t find my order in the system… she told me she would contact store manager and get back to me. I never received a call back so I called the store again on 5/1/26. I spoke with an associate and requested a copy of the order for the glasses. They never placed the order for the remake as I was told by the store manager. The order was not placed again until 5/1/2026 by Pilar after I called back. I then received a call on 5/12/2026 that my glasses were ready for pick up… went to store on 5/13/26 and NOBODY including the store manager could locate my glasses. Was told to call store the next day. This is absolutely horrible service! & YALL STILL OWE ME MONEY!

Very weird experience. I had no idea it was a virtual appointment. I checked online after and didn’t find anything saying it was virtual. Didn’t even speak with a ophthalmologist. The person on the virtual call said he was a tech.
Felt my exam results weren’t correct. However, the lady in office was nice.

It's quick clean and friendly. I received my regular glasses at my house in just a few days. Still waiting for the sunglasses. I'll update when I receive them.
