Squid go has been so good for me this…
Squid go has been so good for me this season. With 4 sessions a week and games I’ve found it’s helped me so much with my recovery. I’ve been able to take it to away games when needed and being able to use it without being strapped to a bucket is so good. It’s become a fixture in my self care.

We have been using the product a long time, both knee and ankle. Lately we've travelled with the ankle version for the last year and it's been incredible. We travel to train and compete extensively and the Squid Go is easy to pack and take with us. Both athletes and coaches use on the road for ongoing ankle issues and it's been a really important part of our toolkit!

This product has been amazing. Recently I had a problem with a part it and I emailed them about it. Early the next morning I got a response email saying they could send a replacement to arrive the next day! Would definely recommend and great customer service.

Simple kit, great benefit
This is a very simple bit of kit but boy does it work! 3 vertebral fractures 4 years ago when I was hit by a car. I still have a ton of back pain & spasm. There is no cure but on days when pain is debilitating, the Squid Go really makes a difference

Total Knee Replacement/Arthritis
Heading towards a total knee replacement, my consultant recommended the Squid Go Knee system for my recovery. After lots of research, and many questions back and forth with the very knowledgeable and helpful Terry, I took the plunge and ordered the system and haven’t looked back. The system arrived fully charged, so I was good to go. (A nice touch) I used the system to help relieve arthritic pain prior to surgery, which it did really well by reducing inflammation and the need for pain relief. Since my op, only 5 days ago, the system has been used hourly to reduce inflammation and it has been nothing short of incredible to see the quick progress I’ve made. The Squid Go is so easy to use. It does several sessions (6 or 7 plus) without needing to be charged. It’s easy to transport in the bag I have and feels wonderful on the knee when at work. Having read up about other systems, I’m so grateful to have the Squid Go. The compression it puts on the knee feels good. Equally, other systems involve filling various vessels with ice, which would be tricky to do post operation. I totally recommend the Squid Go system. It’s a very worthwhile investment, especially with 2 knees! Other systems are available to hire for £350/month, whereas the Squid Go is now mine and I will use it regularly on both knees. What a wonderful product and excellent product service from Terry.

Recovery form ACL injury
Recovery form ACL injury, and have not found anything as effective as the SquidGo. I can use it 2 or 3 times a day, especially after exercise or a long day in the saddle.........the guys are time served in the Orth world and have a great understanding of what recovery is all about. Highly recommended.............just added the shoulder wrap and gels due to latest golf injury.

I’ve been very pleased with the SquidGo Leg/Knee Product
I’ve been very pleased with the SquidGo leg/knee system. After undergoing surgery to repair a torn meniscus and ACL, I found the product easy to set up and use. My main focus has been on rehabilitating my knee and relieving pain in that area, but I’ve also used it on my calf occasionally and so has my partner. It’s a great, versatile product that I would definitely recommend.
The customer service was outstanding the best I’ve ever experienced. My point of contact, Terry, stayed in touch to make sure I purchased the right product for my needs and even followed up after my surgery to ensure I was happy with it. If you’re reading this, Terry, I truly appreciate your attention to detail, professionalism, and proactive support.

This arrived very quickly, with the pump charged and ready to go. The parcel included a helpful and friendly note from the supplier, just in case the clear instruction leaflet left me with any additional questions. Given the competitive pricing and fast service, I would definitely recommend this supplier.
The squid Go is easy to use and is very effective in reducing pain and swelling on my severely arthritic ankle.

Excellent Product for Recovery and Inflammation Management
As a physiotherapist, I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the SQUID device and the results it’s provided for my patients within our clinic. It’s been fantastic in helping to reduce inflammation and significantly speed up recovery times across a range of injuries.
One of the standout features for me is its portability — it’s so much more compact and easy to transport compared to other similar units I’ve used. This makes it ideal for pitchside work on game days or when travelling abroad with the team. The setup is quick and hassle-free, which is invaluable when you’re on the go.
Overall, I would 100% recommend this product. It’s become a key part of our recovery toolkit, and I’ve already recommended it to many of my patients who have seen great results as well.

I'm a physiotherapist that see's a lot of post surgery and sports trauma injuries ans this piece if kit is fantastic. It's an affordable price for both patients and small clinics with effective results and compression. Even better it's easily portable to use take everywhere needed with you

We have several elderly clients that are telling us that their management of arthritic pain in their hands/wrists is decreased (not eliminated, yet decreased) temporarily by using the SQUID GO wrist unit. Highly recommend Squid Go
I first heard about Squid Go when my consultant mentioned it to me after sustaining a knee injury.
After two surgeries and on going rehab, I have used the Squid Go everyday. It has made a massive difference to my knee and rehab so far and continues to help me.
I even used the Squid Go on holidays abroad, which allowed me to carry on my rehab wherever I was in the world.

As you shared recently, being able to lend your unit to a family member after their own knee surgery, highlights the Value of owning a premium quality cold compression device, versus hiring one, for 4 weeks at a time... at a fairly similar price point.
Horrible durability
Nice product that is practical and easy how ever the durability is horrible. Within a year the first gel Pack leaked and by the the second year the other one did as well. I needed to glue the compression wrap together my self at the valve since it was leaking. Now after 4 years (and only monthly use) the motor seems unable to inflate anymore.

I see that overall, you like and respect the USP of the SQUID GO ('practical and easy'), however feel that the durability of the product is "horrible".
My name is Terry Byca, and I became the UK distributor in December 2024, so almost 11 months ago now. From the records that I acquired from the previous distributor (who was selling SQUID and SQUID GO in UK since 2014), I see you purchased your KNEE Squid Go unit on February 10, 2022.
As you hopefully know, all of the components come with a 1 year full warranty - so I am curious if you ever contacted the people you purchased Squid Go from, if the first Gel Pack began leaking "within a year" (?) Since taking over the distribution, I have had a very small number of complaints, and was able to resolve them quickly to the satisfaction of the Customer/Client each time.
You also mention that you had to glue the valve back to the compression wrap, yet didn't mention the time frame, so curious if that was also within the first year, and if you ever tried to contact the distributor you purchased from.
As for the Pump unit, I am surprised that you say that "the motor seems unable to inflate anymore". What exactly is happening? Do you get an error message(s)? Is the Pump fully charged? (I have sent you an email, asking for this information from the info@squidgo.co.uk account - along with my WhatsApp number in case you prefer to speak live.)
My focus is on Customer satisfaction and I take it very seriously.
I have a pump I bought from the previous distributor that is 11 years old and working perfectly as I use it for my demos... we have a Welsh International female football/soccer player that has been using SQUID GO for her ankle for at least 5 years and everything is still working perfectly... she bought an extra LEG/Knee wrap and Gel Pack as she prepared in June for the Euros 2025 championships... a physio (Dave F) formerly of Blackpool Rovers tells me he has pumps from 10 years ago and wraps still in use... etc etc..
And yes, sometimes things do break, and go wrong... and I take care of the Customers immediately.
Again, thanks for making time to send in your honest review - it is the reason that I set up the page, in order for ALL clients to share their experiences with others... it is only this way that people/companies/products, can improve, (if they want to).

Squid Go Ankle Unit
Good product! I bought the ankle unit which has helped my recovery from an Achilles tendon rupture. I had surgery 8 weeks ago and the ankle Wrap has helped significantly to reduce pain and swelling.

We were recommended the squid go to manage the swelling following my daughter's knee injury and subsequent surgery. The device fits well and is portable which meant we could bring it on holiday with us. The combination of compression and ice had quick results on the swelling. We had a little issue with the cuff, but this was quickly resolved by the company, communication was great, quick response and personable. My other daughter has even started to use it for recovery after her sport. Would definitely recommend.

Thanks for sharing your experience. It was good to realise that your daughter preferred the KNEE wrap, over the LEG/Knee wrap, due to it being more contoured to the knee, and easier to take off, due to having (far) less Velcro.
Excellent customer services
Excellent customer services, I wasn’t sure that I’d bought the right cuff so I emailed them and less than 24 hours later I received a really helpful reply . The machine is entirely portable and allowed my son to massively reduce his reliance on pain killers .
