The process from initial quote to final payment was unbelievably fast and fully transparent. Received the padded envelope the day after ordering. Money was in my account two days later. Plus, their customer service was responsive and super helpful throughout the process. Definitely will use again!

Used a local drop-off pod in London, and it only took a few minutes. Money was in my account the next day.

I went to a comparison site to find the best offer for my iPhone 13 Pro Max as I had recently upgraded. Spring at the time offered £507 for an unlocked and in good condition phone. I thought this was reasonable and sent it off. On the day it arrived an evaluation was performed. The evaluation said that the phone had some damage to the screen and case with the price counter offered at £332

Now I have had a screen protector and case from the moment I received it as EE send this with your phone so disputed it. To which the response was our ‘industry professionals’ reviewed the device and this is what they are offering.

I checked on the comparison site and the price for my phone has dropped to £416 with Spring.

I think it is very poor of a company to offer a high price and try to point out things that are wrong when none can be found to reduce the offer they first gave.

If Spring isnt willing to pay the offer for a very well looked after handset then don’t offer it in the first place.

I selected Spring to sell my iPhone 14 Pro based on the generally positive reviews on Compare and Recycle.

Spring gave me an estimated value of £636.

When they had (allegedly) inspected my phone, the 'guaranteed value' offered dropped to £493.

Despite having been in a case and babied from the moment it was purchased, the 'tech report' claimed that the edges showed "some signs of use" and that the glass was "well used".

More bizarrely, despite passing every single check (sensors, location, wireless, biometrics etc.), Spring's report claimed that the power button on my phone was non-functional. One wonders how they ran their checks with an inoperable power button.

I have rejected their offer and am waiting for Spring to return my phone. I hope it will be returned to me in the same condition as I sent it.

When selling the phone I was asked the condition which was good (no more than a few marks) explained by their website which I selected as the phone was in good condition. When they received the phone the immediately reduced the payment down by £128 even thou the phone was in perfect working order. Avoid this company!

Good customer service, fair evaluations and payments go through quickly, will definitely use Spring again.

Very easy experience. Pre paid Package was sent to me with full instructions. Money was paid same day it arrived at the centre. Will 100% be using spring again.

The best packaging experience, and UI for their website. Offered a good price and was a fair valuation. Unfortunately there was a payment issue, and although kept in the loop
Initially, communication broke down and had to be chased for money a week or so later. Other than that, very good, and yes, I would use them again.

Still waiting for my payment, was told this is due to a technical issue on their side, now a week since they gave me my final valuation and I agreed to it, when contacting spring, was told I have the option to have them send it back to me so that I can sell elsewhere, however not viable. Other then that cant complain, will edit my score once I have been paid.

Update 5.10.23 their payment issue has been resolved andmy payment has now been processed, I have now changed my rating from 2 to 4. Overall the process was very smooth, my final value offered was only £3 less than the original offer, and the shipping and checking process was very smooth. Would have given them 5/5 if not for the delay in payment.

Given a price of btw £30/35 and appraisal was £14 this is absolutely absurd and I won’t be recommending this company to anyone ever! The phone was in good used condition not smashed and fully working, could’ve sold privately but liked the ethos so sold on here. Never again!!!!

Excellent experience from start to finish. Envelope received within a day of registering online. Spring offered the best price out of all of the companies on comparison sites. Returned my phone and received notification of receipt and status update. I was expecting a reduced price but original offer was paid and money was available within a couple of days. Would definitely use this company again.

Terrible service! Sent my phone off 9 days ago and still waiting for my funds after accepting the offer 7 days ago! Spoken to customer services and they have just told me to wait another week for my money!

I received the pouch very quickly and once I had returned it I had the money in my bank account the next day.

Spring returned my phone to due a technical issue on their end, did not inspect my device or offer to accept a delayed inspection and payment, which I would have preferred. As a result phone trade in prices had dropped for my iphone since I locked in my quote with them, had to organise another trade in at a lower value as a result

Quoted £310 then offered £229, Their report says some signs of wear to screen and sides and that was enough to reduce their quote by almost £100. Get real. Won’t use again and wouldn’t recommend.

Prior reviews were the reason for using this service. However first experience will be my last i feel.
Originally offer was knocked down, which i can understand. But the issue is i cannot withdraw my funds due to a technical error. I had to chase them for information and after 3 days still no resolution or timescale for resolution. A sceptic would say something is very wrong.

Gave a very impressive valuation for my iPhone 8 and reduced it by 40% when seen. There were 2 scratches on the screen but all else was like new as protected by a case. I accepted rather than go through the whole process again. Felt cheated.
