I have amended my original review which wasn't complimentary but when a small family company does it's very best to put things right you have to take your hat off to them. My thanks to Nigel and his 'turmeric' team for sorting things out so promptly and for the excellent level of communication. The Pakora blend was also greatly appreciated.

Fantastic service, my address way missing from my order for some reason and they called me directly to get it sorted. Great products and Al’s recipe’s are literally the best on the internet for BIR curry! 😋

Five star service, highly recoomended, top quality products.

After an initial hick up in not receiving goods, it has not been resolved, Down to a handling error, Happy to say Nigel was all over it to make sure I got the missing pack( plus a bit extra) So thank you , very happy now.

Just what i needed, saves buying all individual spices.

Orders 7th Jan, chased several times for an update as not received including text message. Processed a chargeback today.
Previous orders have also been late but do receive them after chasing but not this time

I emailed 4 times over the course of the month and text, I appreciate you have now dispatched the order. But every order I have made to date goes through the same rigmor. I will close the chargeback but the review I’m afraid is a fair reflection of the experience. Regards

Sent an order in on 4 January and it is now 6 February and we have still not received our order. We have sent numerous emails and they have not had the courtesy of any answer. Also sent emails to Al and still no answer.
We spent £20. What a waste.
Spoke to Nige at Spicey Joes, they had a computer issue and lost info. 2 days later I have my order in full plus a couple of extras free. Well done for customer relations 5 star now.

So why a 1 * review.....
On arrival a sticker on the invoice invited me to give Spicy Joe a good review on Trustpilot, in return they would send me a free gift.
I don't need a "free gift" ( read as bribe ) to give a good review.
If I'd read the reviews on Trustpilot I wouldn't have ordered.....the disgusting replies to peoples reviews by Nige make the experience very poor.

Order arrived, i'm so pleased because there was a delay due illness i was given extra spices that i will enjoy, Thank you so much Nigel i will recommend and i will use again. 👍

Placed an order, nothing arrived, sent an email which was ignored, sent another email which again was ignored, no order received, and being totally ignored when asking about it. Eventually got sorted when I posted a bad review on here. As the items did arrive, I have upgraded the review from 1 to 3 star

Order placed Jan 11th and confirmation received.
Now Jan 31st and still no products, nor even a dispatch email.
Have emailed the info@ address twice to ask for an update and just been ignored......
There seem to be both very good and very bad reviews, so I assume it's pot luck what service you receive. I gambled and obviously lost.

Bad review posted after feeling ignored, however have since had a phone call from the owner. Order was sorted within minutes with freebies as an apology.
It's a small company and I'd strongly advise using the phone no., rather than the impersonal approach of sending emails....

Great products, spoke with them on the telephone today and they gave me sound advice regarding spice blends/mixes and recipes. Highly Recommended 10/10

Excellent customer support when I queried a delivery schedule. Not only got my package the following day, but I got recipe advice from the bloke on the phone too! The quality of the product is spot on. Will be a regular customer.

Well I need to update this. I had a call from Spicy Joes and they were horrified I hadn't received my spices. I now have confirmation of shipping and I have to say they really pulled out all the stops to help. Thanks to Nige and Spicy Joes and looking forward to some good cooking,

First time ordering from here, had been following some recipes and came across this site, was a little apprehensive but after speaking with Nigel I had no reason to be as he advised what spices to use and gave extra tips and advice, ordering and delivery was super easy and it arrived promptly.
I will 100% be ordering from here again and will be recommending to family and friends. The flavours on the food were amazing, some of the best spices I've cooked with.
