We have used Specialist Property Lawyers several times over the years, and their service remains as good as ever. I didn't hesitate to use them again, especially as I was selling a property through Vickery Estate Agents (with whom they share office premises), and I cannot fault them. The sale was rather tedious as it took longer than necessary (it was a very simple sale, with no chain involved) due to the other party's solicitors acting very slowly, but the brilliant Vidya kept on top of everything and constantly updated me. All calls and emails were answered almost instantly.
Vickery were also fantastic, and the whole process was made so much easier by having such an incredibly reliable and conscientious legal team looking after everything - thank you!

Specialist Property Lawyers were the best conveyancers we could have wished for. We chose them following a family recommendation and were so pleased we did. We were buying our first property and Lorraine and her team did an amazing job of explaining the process to us, were extremely quick to respond to all our queries (often responding within a couple of hours) and made the process so efficient we first viewed the property at the beginning of September and we completed and moved at the end of November. The price was also the most reasonable out of the several quotes we got for conveyancing. We are in our dream home before Christmas all thanks to Specialist Property Lawyers! We would recommend them to anyone.

My wife and I recently completed the sale of our property using the integrated solution offered by Vickery and Specialist Property Lawyers.

There was a large team involved from the start, provided excellent advice on the pricing and sales strategy, organising and leading viewings, supporting us in the final negotiations on the purchase price, procuring the energy certificate, resolving search questions, etc, to ultimately selling the house and the team at Vickery were integral in shepherding the numerous other parties involved in the chain to ensure that we completed everything as quickly as possible.

At every step we felt informed and involved where appropriate.

There are too many very good people involved to name everyone, but there were also a few standout individuals who were involved in almost every step, these were - Edward Whitaker - team leader, Matt Bozier - able LT when Edward was not around, Vidya Karia - Para-legal and Lorraine Down - Conveyancer.

Our first house purchase was rather stressful due to our conveyancer, so second time around we spent a bit longer researching a company who would be able to relieve some of the stress from buying/selling a house. After some research we ended up with Specialist Property Lawyers, and they did not disappoint!

Lorraine was incredible, she has such an attention to detail and great communication. With the house we were purchasing she took the time to research the property and ended up looking at the video tour. When she watched the video tour she actually was able to identify a discrepancy with the title plan and the boundaries shown in the video. In doing so, this prevented us from incurring any problems later down the line. I really don’t believe many people would have found this so quickly (if at all). There were many other reasons why Lorraine was so great, but this one example really stood out for us.
