I've just completed level 1 in Spanish and have already signed up for level 2 in September. I loved the course.
I agree with other reviews, Harriet is a great teacher. She makes each lesson enjoyable with a mixture of hand outs, written work, practising to speak too and homework, if you want to do it, via email. She is encouraging and welcoming and you are never made to feel a fool if you don't pronounce something correctly. I would definitely recommend her.

Excellent tuition to support Spanish GCSE. Friendly, knowledgable and supportive to help content of course. My daughter is really enjoying her lessons and gaining confidence in her vocab knowledge, exam structure and speaking the language. Many Thanks

Harriet is a great teacher. Learning is fun and the class sizes are perfect for collaboration. Really enjoying level 2 Spanish and looking forward to level 3 in September.

The classes with Harriett are great fun because she is such a good teacher with lots of patience and a sense of humour. There is a good balance between worksheets, talking, listening and interacting with other students. I am very much looking forward to the next course.

We, are gluttons for punishment, enjoyable and fun. We have, since Sept 25, completed Levels 1, 2, and 3 and coming back for more. Harriette, is great or in Spanish where the ‘h’ is silent “Arriette” has a great teaching style and a good sense of humour - she needs it! Lessons are well organised and fun, especially once you get over looking like an idiot, which you inevitably will! Thoroughly enjoying it - and it forces us to go on holiday to Spain.

I started Level 1 Spanish with Harriet three weeks ago, she has made learning so much fun!
It is a relaxed and friendly environment where one feels comfortable to learn and practice speaking without feeling foolish.
Harriet is very well organised and has arranged the classes into bite-size pieces which feel manageable.
I am having super fun and look forward to the lessons.
Can thoroughly recommend.

Harriet is amazing Spanish teacher. Didn’t think I would enjoy it so much , at my age (65) but it seems to be going in ! The classes are not too big which is really helpful for those lacking confidence. The home work isn’t too heavy and recaps on the lesson. Being in the class gives the chance to practice speaking the Spanish language correctly. Harriet is always open to answer questions and makes you feel relaxed . I decided to start the course after my wife Debbie completed level 1 and now half way through level 2. So anyone considering learning Spanish, give it a go . 👍😁

I've only had three lessons, Level 1 Spanish with Harriet but...if you want to get to grips with the language, have a totally enjoyable hour's lesson and leave feeling you're getting somewhere... don't hesitate to contact her. She is past master at bringing a group together, building confidence, and enabling learning at a practical and basic level which means you can start to communicate in Spanish as soon as you get off the plane. Harriet has been an amazing Spanish teacher for my daughter. She has always gone above and beyond, giving her time and support not only for written exams, but also for reading, listening, speaking exams. She has helped with mock speaking exams and guided her throughout the whole preparation process with such dedication and encouragement.

Because of Harriet’s hard work and support, it now seems that my daughter is set to achieve a Grade 9 in her GCSE Spanish. We truly appreciate everything Harriet has done.

I’ve just finished level 1 Spanish with Harriet. I was nervous to start learning as an adult but Harriet made the course so much fun. I’ve loved that I wasn’t just taught Spanish but also, writing, reading and culture. Will absolutely continue learning with the Spanish academy.

My daughter Dania often doesn't find it easy to work with tutors but she has found her experience with Harriet very warm, welcoming and helpful. She appreciates lessons and is finding them very helpful for the IGCSE Spanish exam.

I thoroughly enjoy learning Spanish with Harriet. The lessons are fun and well planned, there is lots of discussion and opportunities to ask questions . Lots of content and homework ( if you wish to do it) to reinforce the learning 😊. Absolutely recommend✔️

Level 5 over roll on level 6. Learning Spanish with Harriet has been a blast. Taught in a relaxed atmosphere with a mix of humour and seriousness. Learnt a lot I just hope I can remember it all and put it into practice.

I have just finished Level 1 pf the Spanish course. Harriet is a great teacher. The course is well organised and full of fun. I am looking forward to attend level 2 soon.

My child has been learning with Hattie for a few years and has truly benefited from her patience and expertise. We’ve seen a real boost in confidence and enjoyment of learning. My child even used the tips provided when on holiday in Spain! The only reason we’re pausing tuition is due to a busy after-school schedule, but we definitely hope to be back when it’s time for GCSE revision. Hattie provides high-quality tutoring that is worth every penny, and she makes learning an enjoyable experience. We couldn’t be happier, thank you!

I didn't know any Spanish but I am learning fast as Harriet is an excellent teacher working at a steady pace so no one gets left behind.

Decided to learn Spanish as we’re hoping to retire there and I’m so glad a did. Harriet is an amazing tutor. She is so patient with us older people and gives you so much encouragement all the time, even when we are unsure. I’m only in to my second week but absolutely loving it.

Hattie is a great teacher, she is very experienced and knowledgeable, she is also very patient and supportive with my teenage son.
From a parent point of view Hattie also communicates very well, providing feedback and updates on progress. Would highly recommend 👌

Harriet is a very good and patient tutor. Each lesson is reviewed and in a short time you have vocabulary that you can start to put together into meaningful sentences. I am enjoying the course, so much so that I have signed up for the next level. Harriet gives me the confidence to overcome my reticence to ‘have a go’.

Great class, thorough, very patient, no pressure, puts you at ease, would highly recommend.
