We travelled to Marbella with another family and rented a large villa through this agency. The property exceeded expectations in almost every way. Very clean, beautifully furnished and with plenty of outdoor space for both families to relax comfortably.

The children loved the swimming pool while the adults enjoyed the outdoor dining area and sea views. Everything felt private and peaceful despite being close to restaurants and beaches.

You can tell this agency has experience managing high quality holiday villas because the whole process felt smooth and professional from beginning to end. We are already talking about booking again next year.

I would urge anyone considering booking through this company to proceed with extreme caution.

I was asked to pay by bank transfer only, with no option to pay by credit card or through a recognised booking platform offering buyer protection.

Before proceeding, I contacted multiple owners of villas that were advertised on the company's website as being available. Several owners told me they had not authorised this company to advertise their properties and were very concerned to discover their villas were being listed. Some also advised that the advertised availability was incorrect.

Based on these conversations, I decided not to proceed with a booking or send any money. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering a reservation independently contacts the property owner and verifies that the company is authorised to advertise and take bookings for the property before making any payment.

My experience raised serious concerns regarding the accuracy and legitimacy of the listings being advertised.

Honestly, we were a bit reluctant at first, as we have never used Spain Online Booking before and it made us a bit weary. We've decided to go with it after having a few email exchanges with Antonio, one of their property managers. The entire process was smooth and when we finally arrived there was a local agent that greeted us, Carolina, who took really good care of us and showed us around our villa. All in all it was a very good experience and we will be using their services again.

We were about to book through them until they insisted that payment could only be made via bank transfer, which immediately raised concerns — especially given the booking total was around £10,000 with a £5,000 deposit required upfront.

This prompted us to investigate further, and we discovered that the property images had been taken from a property-for-sale listing. We also found evidence suggesting the villa was actually a closed-down rental property.

No legitimate company should expect customers to transfer thousands of pounds directly to a bank account without offering secure payment methods or proper protection.

I cannot say for certain whether the website has been hacked or if it is an outright scam, but we narrowly avoided losing thousands of pounds on a villa that does not appear to be available.

When we asked the company for a safer payment method, rather than a bank transfer, we received the following response:

“I’m sorry but I don’t understand why you would consider a bank transfer not a secure payment method. When opening a bank account you have to go through a lot of security checks, like: ID check, proof of address, proof of income, proof of work and you have to go into a local branch to open an account.”

While a bank transfer may go to a genuine account holder, unlike payment by credit card or PayPal it generally offers:

• No chargeback protection
• Limited options for recovering funds in the event of fraud
• Weaker consumer protection if a booking is misrepresented or does not exist

As part of our due diligence, we carried out a reverse image search on the property photographs. The images appeared in a property-for-sale listing and were identical to those used in the rental advertisement. We also found references suggesting the property had previously been listed under a different name and was no longer operating.

We conducted further research into the company details provided:

• The company name LM TRAVEL AGENCIA DE VIAJES SL appears in Spanish business records.
• However, several business directories show either very old filed accounts (the latest we found were around 2013) or incomplete and potentially outdated company information.
• We were unable to independently verify the travel agency licence number 2113.
• We were unable to independently verify the rental licence number VT-449772-A.
• We were unable to confirm that “Spain Online Booking” is an official trading name associated with LM TRAVEL AGENCIA DE VIAJES SL.

We have retained screenshots and records of our research.

Based on these findings, we chose not to proceed with the booking and would strongly encourage others to carry out their own independent checks before sending any money

We stayed eight nights and loved every bit. The villa had space for all of us and felt private yet close to everything. The kitchen opened straight to the terrace, so meals outside became a daily thing. The pool was spotless and the view over the sea never got old. We even walked the Camino de Ronda to Sa Riera one morning, absolutely worth it. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Villa Lucia Bella was amazing for our group of 8! The name reminded us of home and the house was so spacious and clean, with all the bedrooms having en-suite bathrooms-perfect for privacy. The pool was a huge hit, and the garden area was perfect for BBQs and chilling. Big thanks to the agency for the easy booking process and great service. Definitely would return!

Scam advertisements on this website.... be very very careful. Google image search every property to cross check everything.

This spainonlinebooking.com site is fake and robbed me of €2500. Reported as fraudulent . Booked a villa for September, paid up front as they offered a discount for doing this. Found the villa on street view (different name on the sign outside) and then on booking.com under this name still available for some of my dates. Contacted them via booking.com and the property management company responded saying the villa is not for rent on spain online booking.
Requested a refund and still haven't gotten it. They asked me to remove my original bad review before they would refund me.

We have found one of our Buenavilla villas on this website, the dates on the calendar are completely wrong, nor do we have any agreement with this company.

Do a reverse image search on their villas in Mallorca, they are listed on other reputable sites such as Airbnb & booking with different names. Two property owners I then contacted through Airbnb had no knowledge their villas were on Spainonlinebooking.com & had not authorised this.

Very grateful to Charlene Ashbury review. Found two villas on spainonlinebooking.com that looked great for our family holiday. Was about to book but sensing too good to be true, checked trust pilot and noted her review saying some properties were not true listings. Used google to reverse search the images and sure enough both villas were fully booked on other sites and were almost double the cost. Would have likely turned up with no where to stay.

Be VERY wary when booking through this site. We found a villa perfect for us on here, and were ready to book. You have to pay half the full total upfront , or if you pay the full amount upfront you get a discounted rate. This policy raised a few red flags for me and so I did some further research using Google images. I found the villa, but it had a different name (it was on a few different websites with the other name) and was owned by a chain hotel company and listed on their official website . It was also ALOT more expensive to rent than the price I had been given. We did not go ahead with the booking as I believe it is a fraudulent listing on this site. I’m not sure if this is one listing or the website / agency as a whole, but please think twice and do further research before paying a lot of money (also you have to pay by bank transfer so isn’t covered by any insurance). I had even had email correspondence with the ‘travel agent’ in regards to the policies and rates so Initially it seemed legit.

We stayed at Casa Aurelia Azul with a mixed group of family members — adults and children alike — and it surpassed every expectation. The villa is spacious, immaculately maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable holiday. The private pool and covered terrace became our favourite spots, and the barbecue area was put to very good use every evening!
The location is genuinely unbeatable — just a short stroll to a beautiful sandy beach, with restaurants, a supermarket, and the marina all within easy reach. The kids loved having both the pool and the beach so accessible, and the grassed garden gave them plenty of room to run around.

What really elevated our stay, however, was the outstanding service provided by the team at Spain Online Booking. From the moment of enquiry through to check-out, the communication was prompt, professional, and genuinely warm. Every question was answered quickly, the check-in process was smooth and well-organised, and they clearly take great pride in ensuring guests have a hassle-free experience. We booked Villa Gelida for a group of twelve adults and two children, and honestly, the hardest part of the whole trip was leaving. Spread across three levels with six bedrooms and eight bathrooms, the villa handled our chaotic extended family with effortless grace — no queuing for showers, no arguments over who gets which terrace, and miraculously, no one even had to share a bathroom. Modern architecture, tasteful furnishings, and light flooding through every room from morning onwards.
The infinity pool with those Mediterranean sea views is something else entirely. We sat by it so consistently that by day three we had unofficially assigned sun loungers. The outdoor jacuzzi, the BBQ area, the dining terraces — this is a place designed for people who want to do absolutely nothing productive, and do it very well. The kids loved the bunk room and barely surfaced except for meals, which left the adults to enjoy the kind of slow evenings that remind you why holidays exist.
Sa Tuna beach is just a short drive away and the village of Begur offers excellent restaurants for when you eventually tire of grilling (we didn't really, but we felt obligated to explore). The fully equipped kitchen handled everything from lazy breakfasts to ambitious dinners for fourteen without complaint.
