Purchasd a cooper hunter system from southminisplits.com after researching reviews and pricing from multiple vendors, including local distributors. Southminisplits had the best pricing and shipping. My order arrived in only a few days via RL carriers securely strapped to one pallet . Though only curbside delivery was promised , the driver offered to put the pallet in my detached garage in back, a welcome perk so I didn’t have to break it down and carry each box an extra 100feet!
It was a couple weeks before I could unpack and install and I was happy to find everything was in perfect condition. The suggested parts to complete the kit were perfect for my installation. The product itself proved to be high quality. While I read many reviews that said the instructions were useless, I found them to be accurate and complete. I’d never installed a system before but found no need to call the offered help line.
Everything worked perfectly after install and through today, 3 months later.
It was clear in the instructions from both cooper hunter and SouthMiniSplits that install and start up must be performed by a licensed HVAC tech. Given the outrageous quotes to install this kit, I did it all myself . I had no issues and quite honestly, the money saved not paying those install quotes ($1250-2500) , I could buy an entire new system if it failed, but I’m not concerned. You decide for yourself, but the whole install only took me about 12 total hours,by myself, with no prior HVAC experience.
In the end , I love the system , I love the service I received. I am considering replacing the traditional 4 ton heat pump on my home with a mini split system and will definitely buy from SouthMiniSplits.

Well starting out with i was going have get a smaller unit then I needed where I didn't have enough money on my card they looked a gave me all the breaks they could because it being Xmas maybe but I think they would work with u any way they could but thanks to them I got the right size unit it was 18.000 20.8 sheers floor mount thank u for tht reson alone more my kids and friends I have they waiting to see my first bill I have if it's as cheap as it should be I will be buying more units thank you Earl cottrell from Kentucky

As a small business owner, I appreciate the service the South Mini Splits provides. Titus has been exceptionally helpful. My last order was ordered on a Monday afternoon and it was shipped out and delivered before the end of day Tuesday. Faster than my local suppliers.

I ordered the unit on11/25/24 and I was supposed to get it in 5 days,but I haven’t received yet today is 12/05/24, so I haven’t received to see the quality of the product yet

I revise my previous review. It finally delivered. Customer service was wonderful, especially Titus Milan is excellent to do following ups. He tried to please customers even though it is not their fault. Fedex delivery was very lousy. Titus sent me new unit to replace undelivered items. Finally I got two units delivered at the same time, first one departed on Oct. 26th and second one departed on Nov. 12th. Both had been delivered on Nov. 15th. Now Fedex have to pick up one extra unit for return. I appreciate Titus's persistent following ups and kind consideration to send me new unit. Keep up good works for your other customers

I cant belive I had to call the delivery company for them to deliver my items. First off, southminisolits had given them my wrong information. After scheduling my delivery for the next day, the shipping company miss ship my items and stated it will be delivered 7 days after the supposed schedule delivery date. This is pushing my project back over 3 weeks, as the contractor that was gonna do the install had to move on to other appointments. I can't belive this seriously.
