It’s been two months and still no…

It’s been two months and still no outfit received. They’ve stopped responding to my email.

They contacted me after this review and offered future discounts or full refund. I went for full refund. I have received the refund.
They blamed the delay on supplier dispute. Personally I feel they probably doing something very wrong because I found the same outfit in a different online shop at 4 times cheaper than theirs, and I received my order in under two weeks.
My order was on March 15. Today is June 1st. Just tread carefully. I was unlucky. I lost the excitement one gets when the place an online order and look forward to the item.
Maybe you will be lucky.

Indeed, what you have been through is something we can call 'unlucky' and 'unfortunate.' It's true that we have been in a battle with some suppliers which is why we are acquiring two new warehouses in CA and NJ respectively to dramatically cut down shipping times.

The reason you may find some of our stuff in other stores is because our suppliers also supply other brands and while it would be really good for us to have them exclusively deal with us, we wouldn't want to lock them in a contract that would hinder them to hustle freely.

Sorry for dulling the spark and excitement you feel from online shopping. We really wish you could be around when things are back to normal. Would be lovely to offer you a service you truly deserve.

Refund Not Received

On April 27th 2022, I ordered sandals from Souk Sepia and after almost a month of waiting, I was emailed on 5/20/22 that my order had been canceled and a refund had been issued to me. As of today 5/28/22, I’m yet to receive my refund or any response from customer service pertaining to the status of my refund. After seeing all the negative reviews on this site as well as others, I’m disappointed that I didn’t check it out before ordering from this company.

Edit: Although it was strange for the company to request my PayPal email as a form of refund even though it wasn’t my original payment method, I still obliged and provided that info expeditiously. Yet as of today, 6/16/22, I still have not received a refund. Please beware of this company.

Final edit: As of 6/21/22, my money was finally refunded to me through PayPal. I am glad I wasn’t scammed out of my money but I’m still dismayed about the persistence needed to get it.

Do Not Buy From Souk and Sepia

I hate to leave a review like this but it is what it is. I placed 2 orders on January 9, 2022. One order for a coat and the other for a 2 dresses and a hat. I waited patiently for a month without a tracking number or anything. I reached out and like everyone else I received a lengthy email explaining that there were shipping delays and blah blah blah. They asked me to wait like 3 more weeks and said I should have my things. I waited another whole month with no tracking info, nothing. I reached out again and again I got another lengthy email of excuses. I waited ANOTHER months and with no items in site I disputed the charges via paypal and received every penny. Do no buy from this merchant.

WORST EVER !!!!!

Hello, I ordered a blouse , a pair of earrings and a pair of sunglasses. The blouse I ordered looks nothing like the advertised piece. It was boxy and had no shape to it. I still haven't received my sunglasses or earrings, it's been over 3 months. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE AWFUL !!! I don't normally leave reviews, but this was the worst experience I've had with a business !!!!

Shame On You Souk & Sepia!!!

They need to shut Souk and Sepia down! Why is the website still up?! It's crazy! I ordered a couple of items from them January 15, 2 items January 16, and 1 other item January 20. They have a lot of cute clothes, and appear to be a legitimate website. However, they've proven they can't be trusted. People work too hard for their money, and no one has time for fraudulent practices pertaining to their money. I did receive the 2 items I ordered on January 16, swiftly. A sweatshirt, and matching pants. So, I thought I will surely receive my other items. When I noticed I didn't receive a shipping notification pertaining to my other items (in a reasonable time), I contacted them on several occasions. Like everyone stated, they send you an essay of phony apologies as to why your items haven't shipped. And how they appreciate you as a customer. They lie, and insure that your order will ship eventually. They never deliver on their promises. When I ordered from them, their shipping delay excuse (at the time) was to blame it on the Chinese New Year, smh. I got sick and tired of waiting around for them, and demanded a refund for all my other items that wasn't fulfilled. It was a month, when I didn't receive my other orders, smh. I just visited their website (just now), and they still have a shipping delay alert. Only this time, it's different. That's ridiculous, and tells A lot! Buyers beware! Please, don't waste your money or your time! Souk and Sepia, you should be ashamed of yourselves! Your ridiculously high priced items should be shipped to customers at a reasonable time. There's no excuse, it's wrong what you have put people through, and unacceptable!

Upon taking a closer look at both orders, we see that the first order was a Final Sale item which only cost $39.99. However, it ran out of stock before we could ship it due to high demand which is why we had to refund you the amount.

The Final Sale items differ to regular ones because the former are never-been-used purchases that were sent back to us for exchange by customers. That's why it is sold for a relatively lesser price.

As per the Accra sandals, the pair's heels really was meant to be unidentical and we have pictures from another customer to further prove our case. I hope you have a pleasant rest of the evening!

Don't buy anything from here!

I initially ordered a sweater back in November and it delivered within 2 weeks, so I had no issues. I ordered my 2nd item at the beginning of February 2022 and literally have not received as much of an update on where my order is and when its scheduled to ship. I have been in touch with someone named "Fits" who has been trying to help me but they provide overly long and apologetics emails with no useful info and only to wait a little longer. While they have been nice to interact with, it has provided no help in getting my order. I have since requested a full refund and can no longer accept over 3 MONTHS to get one item. I would NOT recommend purchasing anything from this company due to their terrible shipping.

Upon taking a closer look at your order, I see that you also had an agreement with Fits for a refund and we hope you receive it as soon as possible. In early January, we have sent a mass email to our customers that some orders are to be backlogged for 6 to 8 weeks. It was even posted in our website's homepage.

Soon enough we will have two new warehouses up and running in New Jersey and California to dramatically lessen the shipping timeframes. Future orders will now be shipped from there instead of having it ship from our partner merchants' respective countries.

We are excited for this change to take effect, and at the same time, we're very thrilled to offer a much improved service to you, our dear customers.

Bizarre - and no order to be found.

Souk has been the most bizarre shopping experience I have had to date.

I ordered nine weeks ago and I've been in contact with them about my order - they are very responsive and write out these incredibly apologetic, long, well thought-out and wordy emails about why your order is nowhere to be found.

Still no order. It's very strange.

Word of advice to Souk: Use the same energy and resources that you're using on communications and those pretty social media posts and re-allocate to actually getting your orders out.

My rating is based on you guys shipping. I ordered well over 1 month ago and I just now received one of my orders. I never received an email telling me that my order had been shipped. There’s a disclaimer on the website informing customers that orders are backlogged, but I ordered from you guys over a yr ago and even than; the order took way to long. As a result of your poor shipping I don’t even want to shop with you guys again. Waiting 2 weeks for an order is a lot. Waiting over a month is a disgrace.

We take accountability for the inconveniences you have suffered due to unfortunate circumstances, namely shipping delays. Indeed, there is a disclaimer stating orders may be backlogged for 6 to 8 weeks with the exception of the Final Sale, Athleisure and WEARable Art items which take the standard 2 to 3 weeks. Just to avoid confusion, April 9th of this year was when the order was placed according to the order ID. The package has been delivered on the 16th of May per the USPS tracking number.

Nonetheless, we get your frustrations and think take it seriously, as a reminder for ourselves to become better for you. It is bizarre to think that these roadblocks have paved the way for solutions. We hear all the cry-for-helps and have two new warehouses for our answer which will come be located at New Jersey and California.

The acquirement of said warehouses will dramatically reduce shipping times for orders and should, once and for all, become a long-term solution for the delays. With this, we are ready to face the future with newfound hope.

If it ain't right it ain't right

Have yet to receive my package. Or any communication about why it's so delayed. It's been over 3 weeks and no word. They forward you to a tracking website that doesn't even track your package. There's no way to get a hold of customer service. If the item I got wasn't on sale I would cancel the order but it was final sale. Really disappointed because I love the styles I see on the site but not pleased with the service and there's plenty of other sites with cute clothes. Maybe not black on but if it ain't right it ain't right.

Waste of money and time.

I placed an order on 4/5 and the order was in process for almost a month. I asked for the order to be cancelled and my money refunded. This still has not happened. To further increase my frustration and lack of confidence in this company. The shoes shipped and arrived 1 month after I placed the order and the order was to have been cancelled. The package was damaged, the box was crushed, jewels has fallen off one of the shoes because the glue used was garbage. Who ever packaged the shoes did NOT PERFORM A QUALITY CHECK as the jewels that fell off the one shoe were placed in the bag with the shoe where all the jewels were in tact. This has been the worst shopping experience with a company I have ever had.

We have been fully aware of the backlash we have been receiving for the past months, mainly caused by the delays, and are committed to find workarounds to improve our quality of service.

And what exactly are we doing to counter the delays? We are in the works (and in the final stages) of acquiring two warehouses in New Jersey and California to have the majority of your orders ship from these two states and within the country.

Exceptional Customer Service

I must say this brand has is exceptional customer service. I was a manager at a boutique in Beverly Hills, California and customer service was a core focus for me and the growth of my location. This is exactly the type of service that will prompt a positive social media comment/ review.

I ordered a size 9 the shoe says 40 I can’t get my toes in the shoe I’m very dissatisfied these a very cheaply made as well the rubber is like hard plastic the colors aren’t as vibrant as the website shows !!! HORRIBLE
