What is now operating as Sophie’s Boutique Melbourne is a TOTAL SCAM. Same website as recently closed Sophie’s Boutique Wellington NZ. You order clothes and they are miserable quality 4 sizes too big that come from China and despite their WEBSITE saying free 30 day return, if you complain they offer 20% discount to keep or you have to pay (more that the dresses are worth to return to China) WARN EVERYONE YOU KNOW - THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM!!!!!

DO NOT BUY! If I could give a negative I would! This is a scam. The clothes do eventually get sent from China but they are so terrible most have to be thrown away.

SCAM. Don't buy from them. Website looked legit. Checked return policy and looked good, unfortunately didn't check reviews! One dress is like table cloth material.

I love, love, love this dress! The quality is better than expected. Fabric is thick enough without being bulky, the stitching is great and the color is perfect!

SCAM ALERT!!! Website implies 'Sophie' is in Wellington, New Zealand. Placed an order, tried to cancel within a day, as soon as I realized it was coming from China. Order had not been sent, but was told it had been processed therefore couldn't cancel. Clothes are cheap and badly made. The advertised 'hassel free refund' another part of scam. Costs $$$ to send back and an only track and trace to China airport, they claim hasn't been delivered. Numerous emails back and forth. Still no refund. AVOID!!!

This dress is beautiful! I got an extra large and it's fits perfectly. The fabric is decent as well. The color is rich.

BEWARE: The website is misleading it states a city in NZ and an address but google maps fails to find said business when searching the address. My bad for not using "Trustpilot" site to verify this business and falling for this scam which is a front for a warehouse in China!
Clothes were not as described and sizing too small for standard NZ sizes, I said if they are a legit NZ business they have to comply with Consumer & Fair Trading standards to which I got no response. I took the 20% refund offer and chalked this loss up to failing to do due diligence.

These dresses are absolutely beautiful! The fabric feels high-quality, and the fit is perfect. This was my first time shopping with sophie boutique, and I have no regrets. I’m very pleased with my purchase and will definitely be ordering more items!

The quality and service is appalling. Their so called 'hassle free' returns policy advertised on Instagram.
is a hoax. The clothing quality is so poor you have no option but to return it, however sending it back to the address given on the website, 150 Willis Street, Wellington, will result in NZPOST informing you there is no such address. Emailing the address on the website results in them telling you to return the goods to a Chinese address or accept a 30% partial refund. The cellphone number given on their website is also false and the poor woman with the number, is forever fielding unsatisfied customers calling for some resolution to their disastrous experience.

Once again, Sophie delivers! Beautiful dress and I can’t believe the quality of the fabric.
