Effective Campaign for Growth, but Results May Be Temporary

I recently tried Songtools’ music campaign and was impressed with how effective it was. Over six weeks, I gained over 2,500 monthly followers, a fantastic boost to my presence. The service was well-structured, and I appreciated how easy it was to track my streams and see placements on various playlists.

However, once the campaign ended, I noticed my followers started to decline daily. This left me uncertain about the lasting impact of the promotion. While I’m pleased with the initial results and the smooth process, I would have loved a way to sustain that growth after the campaign ended.

Overall, Songtools provided a solid service for short-term visibility and engagement, but artists should consider follow-up strategies to maintain their audience over time.

Compared to other playlists placement this is definitely real! Pricing has changed since my initial use, but I have gotten fair results getting my music placed most of the time I was active. I will continue to use songtools vs others that got my music removed from Spotify because of bot streams. Boost collective and playlist booker are scams

I like to format and what they do it's very legit and you will get the attention you deserve for your track. I think however they should have certain levels of how you can spend money on the platform. Like small, medium. Bigger budget. I think they use to have it. But it's definitely a great organic website to build your career with.

My experience with songtools has been great. I got added to many playlists and got a number of positive reviews. I just wish more of the playlisters were from the US.

The best playlisting tool I have tried so far. Helped me trigger algorithmic spotify playlists like "Radio" a few times in combination with other marketing efforts. Success highly depends not how suited your track is for playlists and its quality of course.

Songtools has been great for pitching! I wish the dashboard was a bit more transparent but it's still very easy to use. The cost has started to get a bit pricier than when I first started using the service which makes it sometimes hard to use when there's no guarantee of even getting placed but when tracks do get placed the playlists help out a lot.

I like the platform and there’s certainly value to the offerings and services they provide. My promos did land on legit playlists and my songs did find some decent traction, though I noticed that extended pushes just recycled to the same playlisters. Additionally, a lot of the playlisters are located in South America, so depending on the audiences you’re specifically trying to reach, you may find it difficult.

The platform itself is manageable but I they could do some work on the UI side. It’s not super clear why they ask for certain information to “fill out the song profile” and the “song score” seems very arbitrary. There’s very little information or “how to” guides, so expect to spend some time learning how best to use SongTools.

Overall, I’ll keep working with them for new singles. Cheers, Mike

In the world on playlist promotion it is TOUGH to find a service that is real. I can’t remember how I came across SongTools, but they’ve been great for me. The fact that you can just do 1-2 week promotions is a huge highlight for me.

I haven’t gotten crazy numbers from any of my promotions, but I also haven’t experienced a crazy drop off in listeners the second I end my campaign. Real results from real people. Repeat customer here.

I was able to get music added to playlists and get some decent plays. It’s hard to tell if there are botted playlists or not, listeners were from other countries. Much less time intensive than submithub. You can set it and forget it. But if you keep renewing the price can add up and you’ll spend more than you would on submithub.

Ending up on so many different playlists is my favorite thing about Songtools and watching my fan growth has been truly exciting!
