Ordered a replacement strimmer head on the 29th of June and it was delivered today the 1st of July!! Amazing service. Very good product as well. Really pleased, will definitely be using solent again.

I ordered a switch for a Titan vacuum and it was delivered very promptly. Great service and fab to be able to repair an item rather than replace it.

Two very good experiences with Solent Tools, most recently ordering something after 3pm on Monday and receiving it at lunchtime on Wednesday (even though postage was free). Parts are good quality and can't argue with the service.

Ordered an obscure part for a two stroke hedge cutter, didn't hold much hope in finding the parts but Solent Tools stepped up and 3 days after I ordered them I'm cutting hedges!!

Second time using Solent tools to repair my titan pressure washer.
The only company I’ve found that stocks the parts and spares for the machine.

Quick response to my emails and quick friendly service by phone. Very pleased that a leaf sucker bag which I'd almost given up getting a replacement for, they could get.

No looking good. Placed an order two days ago. No order confirmation. Nothing to say the item has been shipped. Tried numerous times to call them to ensure they have the order and if it has been shipped but they just don't answer.

I've sent an email and the next communication will be to my card issuer.

Great company. Smooth communication, part provided was a perfect fit for my land mower.

I needed a belt for my Kity machine. It was a big ask as the machine is no longer made and many different sized belts have been used for these over the years. The pulleys were also situated in an area that made it difficult to measure accurately. Solent went above and beyond and then some more in order to get me sorted out. Top marks, proper old fashioned customer service!

I needed a drive belt for a very old compressor and Solent tools has them in stock at a very reasonable price.

Delivery only took a couple of days.

I ordered a primer bulb and a few days later a fuel tank grommet to try and fix a big fuel leak for a B&Q strimmer. Their website said both parts would fit my strimmer and they did. Price was good, parts were in stock and they arrived in my letter box within a couple of working days.

Very happy with the service and recommend them to anyone. They are now my go-to parts centre for garden machinery.

Scam, they don't reply to emails almost 1 month no reply I had to open dispute and still they took no responsibility and refused to provide prepaid return for item that is NOT AS DESCRIBED.

Poor customer service in-fact no customer service.

SOLENT TOOLS Switch Lever Compatible With MACALLISTER MLM3635LI

I tried fitting the lever and instead it broke my lawn mowever when trying to fit the the ill-shaped lever. Waste of time, I had to delay mowing lawn and still had to buy. Don't waste your time!!

Read other reviews after it was already too late, same issue they don't provide customer service.

Was looking for compatible blades for a B&Q brand product. Found exactly what I needed at Solent Tools at a very reasonable price. Quick dispatch and good communication too. Very pleased.

Really helpful and knowledgeable people. I needed a new blade for my mower but was confused by the different blades having the same part number. Instead of fobbing me off with the "usual" blade they came back to ask more details. They were excellent in tracking down the correct blade and sent me a link to make sure I got the right one. All for a £23 item - great service and they obviously care. 5*

i ordered a replacement drive belt for an old Draper wood lathe, the recommended replacement that arrived wasn’t the correct length, so Solent tools helpfully identified possible options and sent out two others to try out postage paid without fuss. What excellent service, so helpful. I highly recommend this company.

Placed an order for an old sanding base for a very old orbital sander. Part fitted perfectly and delivery was 1st class royal mail. Despatch same day as ordered. Much cheaper than buying a new sander.

I bought a coil which was faulty then returned it at my cost then they recieved it on 16/08/24 but am still waiting for an answer as to will they replace or refund me!

I have had an old MacAllister Garden Shredder for several years and it's been fantastic shredding garden waste for the compost heaps.
A few days ago it just packed up and I thought that I would just have to scrap it as MacAllister don't have much in the way of a spares department.
A quick internet search turned up usual morass of online 'spares' suppliers together with the little gem that's SOLENT TOOLS .... Carbon brushes? No problem Sir, yours for a tenner including postage.
Delivered in good time. Pop them in the shredder and Bob's your uncle.
The downside to all this is that I just wish I'd come across SOLENT TOOLS years ago and saved all thoes 'cheap' tools I've had to send to the scrap heap for want of a simple component or two :(
