Ella S was absolutely amazing, she calmed me down when there were delays and was always clear, knowledgeable and efficient in answering any queries.

The price was lower than market value but they are clear from the start that its going to be.

Brilliant communicators and so helpful throughout the process of selling. They are very proactive and Sarah was an absolute professional and made everything simple for me during a very busy time.
Highly recommend this company and if they are all like sarah that would be great.

AVOID AT ALL COST. I will be making my way to the Ombudsman to see how i can report these guys for having such business practices and thanks to the rest of the reviewers here confirming my suspicions. They really push you hard into chosing their conveyancy services and they add the ending...if you chose our services this could add lot more weight to your offer...guess what, we didn't and despite having made a strong offer (their own words) our offer was rejected. Just purchased a house with sold and Dahnish and Ella were absolutely fantastic! Really good communication throughout, didn't need to chase for updates and made what is usually a very stressful process feel so easy! Also really recommend the solicitors they may advise you to instruct (XYZ Law) as the communication between them and sold.co.uk is also fantastic. What can i say ! Sold was very professional Ella and her team was always just on the other end of the phone or email. Weekly updates and nothing was to much trouble for them.
I had quite a few problems with the high street agents after weeks of messing about countless people in and out of my house we turned to sold.

As a first time buyer I know little of this experience, she has helped me throughout this entire process in many ways. Unfortunately I was stuck with a terrible solicitor therefore encounted many problems, problems which she resolved and kept me from going crazy.

Not only did she keep me in constant update with the progression of my case, she wrote me a draft letter of complaint to my solicitors, which helped so much. She didnt have to do this, but she did, it made things so much easier and achievable.

As someone with adhd, she has helped me more than she knows and truly made a positive difference. She provided me with updates from the sellers solicitors which helped me challenge my solicitor when they were not performing their due diligence. She is always fast in her communication, replies to emails immediately, calls regularly as well, communicates between myself, the seller , the solicitors. Ella genuinly cares and is a dedicated, respectful, loyal, tenacious, strong, diligent person. She has saved my sale from falling through. Literally owe her so much. More people with her drive and mindset would make the world go far and be a better place. Thank you.

I had a good experience with SOLD.CO.UK. In the beginning, there was a bit of a lack of communication, and I understand that every party involved is extremely busy, but communication with the client is key, especially when selling a house, which is no small matter. However, I would like to sincerely thank Ella Seki for her communication and for answering my endless questions. Selling a house may seem simple, but the amount of paperwork can be overwhelming. Despite her heavy workload, Ella responded quickly and was the only person in this entire storm of stress who kept me informed. I mentioned to Ella that her communication helped me understand my situation and what would happen next. I deeply regret that the lawyers I dealt with didn’t grasp this, and their lack of communication caused a lot of stress.

Ella and the Sold team were fantastic at engaging with me and also generating interest in my property. We were doing weekly reviews of how changes to listing influenced the interest of prospective buyers. It took a while because of the nature of the property but they did not give up. The sale has had its issue and she has gone above and beyond all with a sense of humour that has really helped and definitely appreciated.

Ella was fantastic throughout the process and consistently kept in touch, helping move the solicitors on and keeping me updated.

I have recently purchased a property via Sold.UK. My first issue was being told by Sarah that I had to use their in house solicitor so they could put my offer to the seller. I said I wanted to use my own solicitor and was told that they don’t like you using your own solicitor as it can slow the sale down. It was made clear that if I did not use their solicitor that my offer would not be put forward. Sold.UK also tried force me into using their in house broker despite telling them I already had a mortgage ready. I had to then pay a £120 opening fee which I was told, would be deducted from the final solicitors fee. This was not true, when I spoke to the solicitor, I was told that this fee nothing to do with him, but a non refundable admin charge for Sold.UK.
Furthermore, I then found out when the solicitor was instructed that staff would receive a £500 referral bonus. This was not mentioned when I was being coerced in to using their solicitor. This practice is both unethical and illegal, I will be reporting this issue to the ombudsman.

I was quoted £1700 for the conveyancing fees, final bill was over £2800. The solicitor has added indemnities and other charges to the fee without consulting me. After finally getting through to the solicitor they reduced the fees but not by much.
The buying process was disjointed. I received a phone call asking if I was still buying the property? I was then asked if I had a mortgage in place after the offer was accepted. Then I was told by staff that the in house solicitor had not received my mortgage paperwork from the lender. After lengthy phone calls between my lender and the solicitor, it transpired that they did have my paperwork after all. Despite the contract pack advising that I should have an up to date gas and electrical safety certificates, I had to push for these. I was told by Sold.UK to “get them sorted” after I moved in. Upon completion, the seller left the property full of rubbish despite the legal contract saying the property will be free of rubbish. Items listed on the legal inventory were also missing putting the seller into breach of contract. I have tried to address this with the in house solicitor who acknowledged my email and said he will look into it but I’ve heard nothing since. No doubt on the basis they have now been paid.
House buying is stressful enough without Sold.UK introducing more stress throughout the process.
The final insult was receiving an email telling to leave a 5 star review on Trustpilot making sure I mention a manner of staff by name;

This experience has put me off ever buying another property.

Note updated review as original pulled as Sold UK complained that I had named a member of staff. Note that members of staff are named in positive reviews but that seems ok?!? O

Initial phone call was not professional and once the advisor provided a below market level offer and I told her that her competitors were offering a greater % of the asking price, she could not get off the phone quick enough.
Either a below par individual performance or a direct reflection of what to expect from the company.
If you do not have a buying base for my type of property, then politely advise as such and both parties can respectfully part waves. Customer service is key!
