We have been thoroughly impressed throughout the planning and implementation stages of our ground mounted solar system to the installation - thank you Solar Star.
A highly professional company, from the initial meetings; to the office team; to the installers; as well as their planning recommendation, have all help deliver what was a seamless and totally pain free process.

It’s early days concerning the operation of the system, but regarding the company themselves and the installation, everything was first class. From the initial meeting, everyone we had contact with from the company went above and beyond what could normally be expected. The installation crews were excellent, doing all that was asked of them and more.

SolarStar proved to have been an excellent company to have chosen for our installation. All the staff have been very pleasant to deal with and the fitting team were outstanding. They arrived on time and the solar panels were fitted in less than three hours. Fitting the batteries and inverter took a little longer but all the technical staff were very pleasant, efficient and very tidy.
In reviews like this, I can be reluctant to award 5 stars but I can’t think of any way that this company could have done better!

An extremely efficient experience from start to finish. I was given an install date, which was quick anyway, but they called to see if they could start the day before, so was all completed already of schedule. And I have never known contractors that are so clean and tidy, there was zero mess left behind, nothing!!

I had my solar panels and battery installed recently. Team did a great job with the right level of professionalism. All minor issues sorted straight away without questions and the work done is nice and neat. definitely recommend Solar Star Power. Paperwork arrived immediately to be able to apply for the export. I am very pleased with the service.

Had a 2nd Tesla battery installed before Christmas and a further 10 solar panels last week, both commissioned by Dave and Phil who did a cracking job, very neat and tidy. Been pretty much off grid since with my original panels and battery.
Not forgetting the team of scaffolders who erected the scaffold very quickly, installed the panels on the roof and removed scaffold as soon as wired in by Dave and Phil.

We have just had a Tesla EV charger/wall connector installed by Dave and Phil. They provided an excellent service. Installation and overall work was quite neat and tidy. They were very professional, helped with tesla app, wifi and other small queries. Would definitely recommend their services.

Another great experience with Solar Star Power, adding our second Tesla Powerwall. The team fitted our PV and Powerwall previously, we were really happy with the way the company conducts business, so had no hesitation when we decided to add further storage.
Dave and Phil did a great, tidy job. They even sorted out the incorrect configuration of our Zappi Charger which hadn't been set up correctly by another installer, thanks guys.

We recently had a Tesla powerwall installed by the solar star power team, the end to end service was second to none. They were very happy to talk to me out of hours to suit my schedule and answer any questions I had. They booked me in very quickly, communicated well and arrived promptly. The installation team were fantastic, friendly and professional. Would highly recommend them.

We have just had an EV charger installed by Dave and Phil. They provided an excellent service, the fit wasn't straightforward as we have an old house, they delt with the problem professionally and had some really good suggestions how to make the instal more in keeping with the look of the house. The spent some much appreciated extra time showing me how to get the best from our solar panels and EV charger. Would definitely recommend their services.

Solar Star Power were recommended by a friend to get a quote. I already had 6 other quotes and configurations, indeed I had committed to a system which I thought was the best. I spoke to Solar Srar Power who easily matched my quote but then went on to proposed a much better option. My system resulted in 16 panels a 6Kw inverter and the icing on the cake a Tesla 13.5Kw battery all at a very competitive quote. Within 2 weeks they came to install. Arriving at 9am, 3 vans, roofers, electricians and specialist installers. They were all superb, very respectful, clean and concerned that everything met my highest expectations. By 1:30pm it was fully installed and fully operational with an app and a good clear to understand handover. The next day I had my certificates, warrantee and detailed instruction pack.
I cannot recommend Solar Star Power highly enough. They are superb, totally professional and the best I've found in the field of Solar.
My system produces 6Kw easily on a clear bright day, so roll on summer. Not only do the panels supply my home they also charge my battery. My home is totally self sufficient with the intelligence of the Tesla battery the grid power can go off and seamlessly my home continues as if nothing as changed. Not even a light flickers the change over is so smooth. Added to the fact that I can if needed charge my battery at cheap rate 9.5p at night and sell it during the day for a SEG payment of 16.5p. To me it's a win win. Many thanks to their Director, David and everyone at Solar Star Power for proving without doubt the are the best.

The company was sub contracted to fit a Tesla Powerwall by another Solar fitter who had been given the initial contract. The installation was carried out professionally with attention to detail. The wiring was either hidden from view or installed in trunking, that was positioned using levels, a first !! All parts of the installation were explained fully and there was no rubbish left when they had finished. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to carry out work. Please pass on my thanks for the work they have done.

Solar Star installed panels on our external stables in 2022 which have been entirely satisfactory. However an accident with a garden grinding machine cut the previously existing armoured cable supply to the panels which was hidden in the ground. Tom and Tony from Solar Star came to the rescue on the same day and made a very good encapsulated resin repair to the cable. We were extremely grateful for this prompt action which re activated the solar panels and restored lighting to the stables which we need on these dark nights.

Had 2.4kW system fitted five years ago by Solar Star Power and have been really pleased with it. After a lot of deliberation we decided to go for battery storage and opted for the Tesla Powerwall. From initial contact through to installation (by Dave and Phil) and commissioning all went extremely well and we are very pleased. would recommend Solar Star Power without hesitation.

This company has been exceptionally good. There was no hard sell, they were reliable, polite and helpful. Whenever I have had a question their team has always been quick to respond.

We had panels installed several months before the battery - it was our decision to wait for a Tesla battery because it would allow us to use our solar energy in the event of a power cut. We were advised that there would be a delay. Nonetheless, the battery was installed before our anticipated installation date.

The panels, inverter and battery are working well and haven't taken up as much space as expected.
We haven't needed to buy electricity from the grid since the battery was installed. Additionally, we have also been able to secure a fairly good Smart Export Guarantee despite having a SMETS1 smart meter that has yet to be upgraded.

I have no hesitation in recommending Solar Star Power to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy company.
