Solar Generation installed a 4.81 KWp Hybrid system, with 13 solar panels, a 5.8 KW Battery and an Eddi diverter for my hot water needs. My experience with this company was excellent from the start. From my initial phone calls with Conor in Feb 2022, who was dealing with my Solar PV design and quotation to my dealings with Ray and his team who arrived in March 2022 and completed approx 80% of the installation in one day and finished it off in a few hours on the second day. A follow up visit was needed approximately one week later from Ray who completed the final commission of my PV system. Fantastic work by Ray and his team and also very neat and tidy. Caroline dealt with all the SEAI grant paperwork and payments and I was very impressed to get a follow up call from Danielle to see if everything was alright with my Solar PV system.
I have my Solar PV system installed well over a year now and I'm delighted to say that I see a big reduction in my electricity bills and I'm even getting some money back from my electricity provider for the excess electricity that my system produces.
I had an extremely positive experience dealing with Solar Generation and I would highly recommend them for all your Solar PV needs.

Very easy people to deal with. Very happy with the installation, efficient quick and tidy, no hassle with them at all. Only have the panels a short time but can start to see the benefits in my first electric bill since installation. The Eddie diverter is great for hot water over the summer months.

From my very first phone call to solar generation I was so impressed with their customer service. In the initial stages getting prices, working out exactly what we wanted/needed, we were dealing with David. David is the definition of excellent customer service, nothing was to much trouble. He explained everything so thoroughly, he was always on hand to answer our calls, answer our queries. This was one of the main selling points for us. A lad called Darren called to measure up and again he was so helpful, he explained everything, a really nice guy. We priced around, and there was really no competition. Solar generation stood out a mile from all the rest, outstanding customer service and competitive pricing. 3 lads arrived to install the panels, and a few days later the electrician arrived to connect up the panels. The electrician was excellent, very neat work, took away all the rubbish and boxes. Caroline in the office helped us with all our paperwork and getting the grant. She was so nice to deal with.

We have our solar panels in about 3 months now and they have made a significant difference to our electricity bills! It was the best decision we made.

I've been interested in solar for a few years but just didn't know if it was too soon for the technology. I'm very glad now that I did install it and that I used Solar Generation. I left a message with a couple of companies expressing an interest in solar, but David called me back the next day. I was surprised to hear back that quickly. Two days later he was at my house discussing the options. I made my mind up that day to go with Solar Generation. I subsequently received a call from another popular company and met with them even though I told them I had made my mind up. I stayed with Solar Generation because I felt they were more professional and I liked the fact that their panels were German. My system is rated at 7.6KW, during good weather in May I was generating 8.6KW. These panels were delivering better than promised efficency. I have no hesitation recommending Solar Generation.

We chose Solar Generation for this investment in solar energy as they were a locally based company who we had heard good reviews about from other people in our community. From the first contact we had with them, their team were top class in every aspect of the following proposal consultations, equipment install, direction of equipment use, and aftercare.

We obtained expert advice on the best system for out families needs and how best to capitalise on our budget and our house size requirements, the system we installed was competitively priced for such technology, during installation the team were clean, quick and friendly, and the team in the aftercare department have been very helpful with our queries since it was installed.

The system has been installed 5 months now and the savings are phenomenal. The house is off the grid for 80% - 90% of the time currently and there is always hot water. A great investment for the future.

Consequently, we have no hesitation highly recommending Solar Generation for this type home improvement to anyone looking to install solar.

Solar Generation were the right choice for our installation. They were knowledgeable, experienced, honest, technical problems were correctly dealt with and no short cuts taken. For an investment like this, I cannot recommend this company more highly. The panels, and accompanying batteries and inverter are of high quality typical of this technology, but I was not sold anything I didn't want or need and I am delighted with the result and the experience.

I have never experienced such amazing customer service, transparency and installation work. From prompt initial contact after I expressed interest online, to our home consultation, helping with the grant side & installation, everything was made hassle free & explained very well how products, apps etc work. When we visited the showrooms every member of staff was so lovely. We were shown around inc the warehouse which is lovely to see BTS. David was a pleasure to deal with as was everyone else we met in the showrooms or had in our home. My husband works from home so they worked around when the electricity was going to be turned off (on his lunch!). It's a pity it's usually a 1 time job as I would love to give them more business. We had 10 panels installed along with eddi converter and EV Charger and are delighted with them all.

I have to say I was very impressed with the two lads who attached the panels to my house last week, then to add to that the two who came yesterday to connect the panels, the inverter and battery pack were so polite, friendly and even cleaned up after themselves. When they were done they explained the system to me before they left. Then to add to my delight I had hot water last night and this morning, without having to use any other appliance. Off to a good start. I would reccommend this company to anyone considering investing in the solar panels.

Decided to install solar panels in July of this year, driven largely by the escalating costs of energy and the uncertain direction in where things were going. Environmental concerns where there to, but truthfully, costs were king in my head. I did want to keep local in terms of a supplier and a quick Google Search found the Solar Generation team in Sligo. I was delighted to find a local company and even more delighted with the service, from Steve's initial house call in which he expertly walked us through the technology to the roofing guys and electricians, it was seamless (apart from a small glitch in hooking up the 2nd Panel array, which was resolved quickly). The impact has been immense, even in these winter days, our house is still powered pretty much by solar and with the battery installed, we get through peak times without dipping into the grid. Thanks to the team at Solar Generation, over the past 3 months, we've reduced our energy consumption from the grid by 85%, this has surpassed my expectations and then some...Thanks very much to the team at Solar Generation and if anyone is thinking about going solar, do it and give the team in Sligo a call.

p.s. have booked in with the team for installation of a Zappi car charger, so can't wait to see what benefits are there.
