I rate Snaptron five stars for the following reasons:
1. The company demonstrates great enthusiasm in serving its customers.
2. They respond quickly to customer needs.
3. The staff members involved are highly enthusiastic.
4. The company has a clear division of roles, establishes distinct communication channels with clients, and shares project progress immediately.

I enjoyed working with the Snaptron staff. They're good for answering questions and discussing general pricing (we're not sure about our order yet, so it was good to get ballpark estimates and options before submitting a RFP.) But yeah, Snaptron is a real company with real people and seem to have real processes.

The representative was very helpful in giving me options for getting my prototype design off the ground.

This is my first time designing a membrane switch pad for a custom control device, though I have designed many control panels before with both hardware switches and touch panel interfaces.
Several members of the Snaptron team have helped me learn about membrane switch design and they have provided me with quite a few sample domes to help me work toward a panel that has the necessary tactile feedback along with a very light trip force.

We received the sample on time and it is good quality.

They offer a "free sample" of parts.

First, they ask about your business, your website and your applications for use.

Then, they tell you that they'll send you a 15-piece kit and you just have to pay shipping. They offer to "use your shipping account" or theirs.

Then they tell you that they will ship your "free" sample via FedEx and it will be $30.

I offered to send a label from my commercial account, if they gave me the weight and size of the package and they ghosted me.

Ostensibly because USPS would ship it for about $7 and they wouldn't be able to skim the remainder.

Absolute joke of a company.

We have extensive electrical engineering projects, ranging from automotive modification to power supply installs to maintanence and modification of spectroscopic equipment.

No one with an IQ over 85 is going to spend $30 on a 15-piece sample kit. And I could only imagine how much it would cost to actually order enough of this crap to build with.

If $30 is the base cost, I assume that 180 pieces of varied size and type would cost several hundred dollars for these shysters to ship.

They are not just crooks.
They are dumb crooks.

They offer a free sample of their product for testing.

When you sign up, they have a rep email you and try to fish for information to harvest and don’t actually provide the product.
