The Snapcycle R-1 step thru e-bike is awesome! I got this bike 3 weeks ago and have ridden it every day except for 3 rainy days. It has solved my transportation issues getting around my congested city. Its fast ,sturdy, sharp looking and fun. I would have bought one sooner if I knew more about them. A great investment for under $1,500 . 👍 Ernie

Customer service is outstanding! I accidently ordered the wrong bike and when I noticed it, they were right on top of it. They had the bike returned by Fed ex and my new one was in its way. The whole purchase process was a breeze! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to purchase an e bike.

I gave four stars because of the throttle side handlebar grip keeps moving other than that after about 3 1/2 weeks everything else is good

Wouldn’t know how your e-bikes are because I didn’t receive it. That’s right it set in englewood,cal for 46 hrs and then in ellenwood,ga for another 10hrs . When it got picked up by fed-ex on Wednesday I received email it would be delivered on Friday. Then on Friday received email been a change to your shipment new delivery day will be on Monday 8-28-2023 must sign for package. So I pay fed-ex 5,55 to deliver at a pacific time window so I can make sure someone is home to sign for package. I have someone leave work early to be here between 5:00 and 8:00 which’s what time window fed-ex gave me. So after I called snap cycle customer service and after been told couple of times well we can’t control fed-ex once package leaves us … you have two options they will try to deliver your package a couple more times and then send you’re package back to us and we’ll refund you’re money and at that point I didn’t need to listen to any more of you’re customer service representatives. I went out of my way to be home make sure someone was home to be treated like it was my fault fed-ex didn’t deliver and even payed 5.55 extra to fed-ex only to be told we’ll refund your money when fed-ex sends your package back to us. So nope sorry can’t review something I never received.

Great website,excellent description of product I ordered a Snap cycle Pegasus for my wife, she loves it. Great design and very durable,Love the adjustable handlebars.I always look at the design of things I buy and the welds on the frame are top notch, you guys did it well. I made a mistake and ordered a long range bike for myself from another company that advertised they were from California and my bike was shipped from New Jersey never again, any future purchases will be from Snapcycle, thanks again for the quality, ''oh''did I mention the other companies bike cost me $400.00 more. Thanks again Rob and Karen Desha.
The packaging was great
The packaging was great. The only complaint I had was waiting for the 2nd bike because it was out of stock and when it was shipped to me the gears are really clunky sounding when I shift gears. I am not sure how to fix that and the derailer was bent a little bit. Other than that the bikes ride great and have not had any other issues.

I just unpacked and assembled the New Rev of the Snapcycle R1.
I will be putting together a video on youtube about this R1 rev. soon.
But for those wandering about what Snapcycle did with all of our suggestions? Well, they took notes and used a great deal of them (especially when related to safety).
1. Handlebar Stim is now adjustable, no more one size fits all.
2. The frame in the Rear Swing Arm has been is Stamps and Welded for more tensile strength (withstands more weight).
3. Hydraulic Breaks (front and back).
4. Electric LED Integrated Taillight / Breaklight.
5. The Packaging is rock solid now. The box is in cognitive, pretending to be a large screen TV.
THINGS TO NOTE:
The nose of the seat is so long that (if you are a shorter stature person) the lowest portion of the High-Bar is not usable to rest you private parts over. Keep this in mind when ordering your bike. Although the High-Bar offers more tensile strength for us heavier built people, it also present an obstacle for those of us that are short in stature.
The handlebars on th R1 High-Bar are different then the handlebars on the R1 Step-through.

Good all around bike
Great customer service. Had the bikes to my door within 7 days of ordering. Easy setup well packaged. Still early but no issues after 50 mi of riding. Price is good for a mid level bike that rides well on pavement and dirt roads not sure about heavy off roading.
Snapcycle Eagle is Plug n Play
The Snapcycle Eagle worked great right out of the box. It took only a few minutes to assemble and the battery had enough charge for a quick test ride. The shifter, brakes, controller and motor all worked flawlessly. Later, after a full charging session, I took it out for a 20 mile bike trail trip, mostly in PA 0, 1 and 2, with the occasional throttle twist on small hills. It looks like the battery is down only 2 bars. I do wish the manual had more detail on programming the controller. Hopefully there is a video out there somewhere that explains the settings and how to tweak them.

I then contacted snapcycle and was informed that because I had received a tool kit that I didn’t even want that I couldn’t have the whole difference in price ($100+). Needless to say, I am worried about what is to come in terms of honoring warranty items.

Because they said it was from size is 5’2 to 6’2 totally not true. I’m 5’7” an with the seat as far as it will go down- I’m still on my tip toes> false advertising! Lets say 5’9” maybe

They were fast with processing my order and delivery. The bike was very well packed and the folks at Snapcycle were helpful with any of my questions. The bike is surprisingly powerful! Just in the first few rides I've had a great time zipping around town and tackling hills in the Appalachians with ease.
