I've done some testing with the frost protection valve zi ordered and it appears to work exactly as described. It should be perfect for my application.

saw the product on line with the basic specifications displayed. The size, Watt value, basic technology, attracted my scan, I called the company for more details the phone was answered promptly, with a very knowledgeable person. By this time I knew if the price point was near my budget i would buy. I own 3 units very promptly delivered and preparing to buy more. The product also exceeded my expections...

Smart Thaw is a well designed product. Sensing water temp instead of ambient temp saves water (gals of water a day depending on ambient temps- causing unnecessary well/pressure pump cycling) and takes advantage of insulated water lines. No need for electrical heating, running power cords and unnecessary waste of electricity for heating faucets during transitory ambient temps. Cannot speak to its performance at this time nor its life expectancy.

I ordered a single heat trace cable to test the product and service from Smart Tech. I was extremely pleased with both and placed a larger order a week later. Very pleased!

This is my second product my first one worked really good until the seal inside started leaking and there were no replacement parts.

Sewer hose heater was shipped quickly. Install was quick and easy. So far it’s worked great.
