I got this in hopes it would improve the house. However with in 6 months the lid and supports installed (improperly) became loose to the point it was almost falling apart and the lid didn't stay up. 1 screw and a broken bit of wood was all that was holding the lid from collapsing. They came to repair after informing them. Unfortunately after a year it is back to being rickety and creaky. Furthermore they charge £90 more because they'de charged my twice due to a error on their end (which I still haven't received after emailing them about it). I wish I'd never had the work done in the first place as I now am reminded of how bad a job it is every time I walk the stairs.

John and Jake arrived today in the freezing cold with snow outside. Talk about dedication.i finally got my stairs done after 3 years of waiting for different management's. I also got a good price. I am extremely happy with the way the stairs look with the hidden storage space. It was done within an hour even doe my stairs are alot bigger than others. It was not an issue for John. Very happy on customer service and would definitely recommend. I literally can now get 8 to 10 suitcases under! I only needed space for shoes never anticipated the suprise! Thank you. Not recommended for homeowners living in Scotland.

Initially I was very excited at the prospect of understair storage and the fact that the company was also willing to travel up to Scotland, as other competitors did not offer this.

However, my excitement was short-lived. I had been told in July that the next group booking was due in September, which never came into fruition. I did not hear back until October, where I was notified that the group booking was now finalised for December. A date was given.

The day before my appointment, I was told due to unforeseen circumstances of the van breaking down, my appointment was cancelled. By this point, I had already requested time off work to oversee the fitting, which is work time lost for me. As I did not want to miss further time off work, I requested if the rescheduled appointment for the following day could then take place at 4.30pm after my work hours, which was flatly rejected.

After months of waiting and empty hopes, I have loss confidence in this company. Perhaps their customer service standard for England-based customers is better, but definitely poor for Scotland-based homeowners.

We wanted to have Smart Space stairs installed on our new build staircase for ages but never got around to it. We finally had it done and its amazing! So much storage space! Very happy. The guys that installed it, were so nice and cleaned up the area perfectly afterwards. Highly recommended!

After 1 year my brand new carpet has been ruined. I was told that they would not fix this unless I am going to pay. Which is wrong. I would not suggest this company to others with brand new carpets, as although the structure is okay, my carpet is not.

Cant fault them, easy booking process with good communication. The guys that came to do the work arrived on time, and were friendly and skilled at what they do. They left my home as they found it (but better!) cleaning up any mess or dust cause by the work. I’m so happy to have access now to the extra 2.5m of floor space we had wasting under the stairs! Would 100% recommend.

Had our stairs storage done yesterday with Karl. The whole process from
start to finish with Smart Space Stair Storage was quick and easy. We received a message with a reminder and a time that Karl would arrive and even had tracking info so we knew when to expect him. Karl was extremely friendly and helpful, explaining to us all the details and warranties included. 2 hours later and under the watchful eye of my 2 year old son, the work was complete. Extremely high standard of finish, would definitely recommend to others!

Superb job! Two lads who attended were quick and efficient, even with my two little girls running around.

If you’re wondering if it’s worth getting then, id 100% say yes, who can ever have too much storage. Perfect place for schools bags, shoes and general house mess. The hallway has never looked so tidy.

Last week I had my stairs done. It’s the best thing I did. I wasn’t looking for this but it popped up in my instrgram and I instantly booked. The process was so easy and before you know it, in a week I had 2 great men turn up. They were professional, friendly and felt like family instantly. They weren’t in the way. They did such a superb job! They cleaned up and went up and beyond to help further. I would highly recommend them. Hence the 5 stars. They even looked after my little dog in the process.

Had our stairs done this morning and can't get over how much storage space it has given us! Our Persimmon Clayton was definitely not designed with storage in mind so having our stairs sorted has given us a really useful space, thay we desperately needed in our home. The guys who came to install them were friendly, professional and efficient and I am so glad we went for it. The cost was really reasonable as well for the space it has given us and the fantastic service. Even getting a quote and booking us in qas so quick and simple, sending updates and reminders as well. From start to completion and excellent and streamlined service. Booking was easy and I was kept informed throughout and reminded just before the appointment. The guys arrived and had a great company image, introduced themselves and worked in a very tidy manor. When completed the space is amazing and the system works really well. To pay was simple I just can't wait to show everyone and recommend this family run business. I truly wish you al la great future as this is such a great idea.

I saw this company recommended on Instagram. Their booking and payment process is all online and straightforward to use. Two installers came and made the cupboard today, it took half an hour (as I don't have carpet down yet). The cupboard gives me so much more space in my new build. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs more storage.

Genius idea and great service and workmanship!! Nice and tidy and it was like they’d never been there it was spotless!!

We had a cupboard under the stairs already, accessible from the kitchen, but we couldn't ever get right to the bottom, and it ended up just being full of rubbish. Our hallway was too small to fit a shoe cupboard so when we came across this we thought it was a great idea.

I gave the team a message on WhatsApp asking if they'd be able to do it given that we were out of their usual area and they came back within minutes to say that they could and gave us a price (very reasonable - probably what we would have spent on a shoe cupboard anyway!)

The guys came out and had the whole thing done in just over an hour. They left no mess at all and explained everything to us, they were friendly and approachable.

Now we have a great extra bit of space for tidying away our shoes (and our dog seems to enjoy hiding in there too...) - thank you so much! I would recommend to anyone and would happily have you back in the future if we needed it doing again.

Karl and his brother will answer all your questions and be very accommodating. They work fast and well, and leave the space spotless. We absolutely love our under stair storage and would recommend them 100%!

I'm happy to recommend these guys. They did a great job fitting a storage space underneath our stairs. We're really happy with the extra space and you can't even see there is any storage underneath. The guys were efficient, pleasant and tidied everything up before they left.

Had my stairs converted today. Cant fault it, very pleased with the result and how much space i have in there.the lads were brilliant very professional and efficient. Cleaned up as they went along. Highly recommend. Thanks again guys 👍🏽
