Very disappointed with the final results

As I stated previously, the service and care I received from beginning to end were absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, my experience with the final results has been very disappointing.

While I was still in Turkey, I noticed that my nose looked uneven and brought up my concerns. I was told twice that we would not see the true results until after three months because of swelling, so I trusted that process and waited.

As I got closer to the three-month mark, I sent a photo because I felt that the unevenness was actually becoming more noticeable. Once again, I was told that we needed to wait for the swelling to go down and that the results would be clearer after three months. I specifically remember her receiving a message while she was with me from another patient who was also concerned about their results, and I remember her giving that person the same explanation: wait until after three months.

Well, the three months have now passed, and unfortunately, my nose is still visibly uneven.

My concern is not with the overall bone structure of my nose. The bone structure looks amazing. My issue is specifically with the nostrils, which appear to have been stitched back unevenly.

When I was still in the office, they actually noticed that my cast was sitting crooked and attempted to straighten it. Again, I was told to wait and see how everything looked after three months.

Now I am being told that I should have spoken up more while I was there and that I should have taped more or followed the instructions differently. I find this extremely frustrating. How could I have known what the final result would look like days after surgery when my face was extremely swollen and I was repeatedly told that the swelling needed to go down and that the real results would not be visible until after three months?

I followed the guidance I was given and trusted the professionals who repeatedly told me to wait.

At this point, I am very disappointed. I no longer feel comfortable taking photos until this issue is corrected, and I am now having to seek another provider to address a problem that I believe should have been handled by the original surgical team.

Again, I want to make it clear that the service itself was wonderful. Everyone was kind, attentive, and professional throughout the process. My disappointment is specifically with the final result and, more importantly, how my concerns have been handled afterward.

I genuinely hoped that with time everything would improve, but unfortunately, that has not been my experience.

Ok i am doing this for the girlies who are torn and scared like i was before taking that step. Girls!! Go for it! Doctor Akin is an absolute artist! He is so different than all the surgions i spoke to during the research phase. He listens and understand perfectly what you want and he will advise and take his time to explain everything including the expectations. He not only delivers perfectly when it comes to the look and shape, but the function takes center stage because he is a real physician. I didn't know how much i wasn't able to breathe properly before that. The hospital is absolutely amazing, squeaky clean and the nurses are super professional. I was lucky to be assigned Refka as my guide and translator although do tor akin is fluent in English but she facilitates between you and the nurses .
Even if you need to order food she will tell you how and assist you non stop. She is a life saver and she took care of everything for me from hotel to transportation and everything was organized and ready for me from the moment i arrived at the airport to the moment i left to go back home. I am forever grateful and i will never get any services or surgeries anywhere else going forward. Thank you doctor Akin ! You truly have exceeded my expectations and waking up now doing the maintenance to make sure i heal correctly and fast and i follow his directions and apply the scar cream and massage my nose and i look in the mirror with absolute happiness and gratitude. Thank you thank you.
If you are considering a surgery with doctor Akin go for it without hesitation. I know it is scary to travel somewhere away from home and trust in the process but they are experts and you are in good hands. PS.
