What a fantastic week. My 18 year old daughter , Laura, and myself met with the rest of the group at Neptune’s Staircase and the adventure began! Our guide Robson gave us some time and instruction on quiet waters and we all soon had the basics of canoe control . We were a mixed group of ages and abilities , but we soon bonded and everybody helped everyone along . Down the canal and into Loch Lochy with stunning views of Ben Nevis . We pitched camp in the evening , Laura and myself struggled with erecting unfamiliar tents but we got there in the end while Robson cooked us a delicious dinner. His culinary skills were a big hit with everyone and we were well fed all week . Next day was more of Loch Lochy and into Loch Oich , with a stop for lunch followed by a pint at the excellent Eagle Barge Pub at Lagen Locks. More paddling bought us to Fort Augustus , where after a portage we were onto Loch Ness where the wind had turned 180° and was now a strong headwind . We camped. At the western end of Loch Ness , overnight the wind strengthened and it became clear we would not be able to make it to Inverness on this trip. So we backtracked the way we came for the last 2 days , including back to the Eagle Barge for food and drinks and craic on our last night .
I would throughly recommend this trip with Skyhook, Heart and Soul and most importantly ,Robson the guide for absolutely anyone., Only a moderate level of fitness required .
Great value for money too , as it is all inclusive .

Demanding, but magical trek. Having done TMB highlights last year I can say that Gran Paradiso is physically harder, but doable and rewarding with magnificent views, wild nature and much less hikers than TMB. Big thanks to our guide Claudio for patience, trust and proper sense of humor.

This was honestly the hardest but most amazing thing I've ever done! Reg and Bill were absolutely brilliant instructors who led with knowledge, patience and humour. The trip itself was not what I expected but so much better! The views were utterly astounding, the pictures don't do it justice! I've met friends for life, found muscles i never knew i had and found joy when I thought I was close to giving up. ❤️

What an absolutely amazing weekend in the Lake District! Jed was a fantastic guide - and a great campsite chef! Really patient, kind and accommodating. Jed and the fab group of people on my trip went out of their way to help me join in all the activities I could, despite some health conditions. We had a fab time canoeing, swimming, climbing and abseiling. I managed to do things that I wasn’t sure I would be brave or fit enough to do! I would recommend this trip to anyone!!

Excellent experience. The guides were highly professional and managed the group well. Fairly strenuous days (for an old bloke) but balanced well. Enjoyed the whole thing.

What a trip! A lifetime of beautiful memories. Loved every minute, even the hike, which was very challenging. Perfect host, group, location and the weather was so very kind to us. Would highly recommend this as a trip to see stunning Norway.

Wonderful days in varied terrain amongst lush valleys and barren mountains. Our guide Roberto was genuinely interessed in the mountains, fauna and local wildlife special to the area of Gran Paradiso which made our visit extremely fun and interesting. He always met everyone with a smile and managed to keep the group together very well. I would gladly recommend this trip to anyone interested in trekking and beautiful views.

The overall trip was incredibly slick, smooth and well organised which makes such a difference.
We had Grigor as our guide and I have to say he was outstanding. He took the time to get to know everyone, dropped some knowledge, ensured we were all comfortable. Just fantastic at his job.

Just completed an unforgettable 4-day trek in the stunning Gran Paradiso region guided by Roberto. Every day offered breathtaking scenery, from lush alpine meadows and crystal-clear streams to rugged mountain trails with spectacular views. The well-maintained paths and beautifully located mountain refuges made each stage a pleasure.

The refuges were warm, welcoming, and served delicious dinners that were perfect for refuelling after long days on the trail. The camaraderie within the group and the company of such friendly, supportive fellow hikers made the experience even more special.

A perfect blend of nature, adventure, great hospitality, and wonderful people. This trek will remain one of my most memorable hiking experiences, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves the mountains.

Absolutely fabulous Canoe Adventure with Chucky & Robson. Highly professional, knowledgeable and friendly guides who explain everything carefully and yet manage to give you your own responsibility as well. Its a great way to see the beauty of Scotland from the water across the Lochs we traversed, Lochy, Oich, Ness and Dochfour The campsites on the sides of the Lochs and the woods are well chosen and peaceful. The food is everything you need after a days paddling, hot, nourishing and plenty of it I would highly recommend this trip iff you want to try out canoeing maybe for the first time, its challenging without being too tough and it gives you a real sense of achievement by the end of the 5th day Thank you as well to my fellow travellers, its always great to get to know a whole bunch of new people who are doing this for the same reasons you are, a challenge but fun at the same time. Fabulous 3 Peaks in 3 Days adventure. Friendly and supportive hikers and a briliiant mountain leader in Simon. He paced our ascents very carefully, taking account of the capabilities of the whole group and had words of encouragement when most needed. Each peak was fun in its own way; from the weather on Ben Nevis including snow near to the top and steady drizzle. Scafell Pike was fun and great views in every direction. Yr Wyddfa was probably the most enjoyable for me as the weather was clear, views amazing and a reasonable pace though the day. Huge thanks to Simon for looking after us so well, his extensive geographical knowledge, the excellent banter in the minibus and the camaraderie of the group as a whole. Big thank you also, to Steve our brilliantly capable driver for getting us safely around throughout the 3 1/2 days. Your efforts were truly appreciated. Would highly recommend this trip and loved the tunes in the bus between the mountains.

A fantastic week canoeing (I had little/no experience) but Chukky and Robson showed us the ropes and with some guidance we made it each day. Great company as I was travelling solo and everyone got on and had a great time. Food was good and plenty toilet stops! Would defo recommend to any solo adventure seekers!!

This is a brilliant hike. The Gran Paradiso circuit is really special. The hiking was challenging & rewarding. Each day of the trip builds on each other with breathtaking & diverse views of the Alps.

Our guide Roberto was 10/10. His love & understanding of the mountains was evident throughout the whole trip. He is calm & confident & super fun.

I’d highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for an Italian adventure.

This adventure was the best decision I have ever made, truly awesome, many thanks to our professional guide, Sam Dean, he was so knowledgeable about every detail of the trip, also giving guidance and installing confidence in those who doubted themselves, yes it was challenging at times, but those things in life we strive for are not easily gained, which makes them more appreciative when achieved. Our team bonded well and we all worked together to achieving our goal, and I have made some very good friends for life.

This trip was fantastic. Excellent organisation and information before the trip. The actual trip was well planned, greatly resourced with wonderful guides, great locations to canoe to and camp along with delicious cooked meals to keep us energised for the exciting canoeing sessions. It was a great social group and everyone was a team and had a fabulous time. Definitely highly recommended.

Thank you so much to Nordic Paddling and Sini, in particular, for a great weekend kayaking and hiking. We were well looked after at every stage. Sini was a wonderful guide - so knowledgeable, and great at tailoring the trip to our group's abilities. We came home happy and re-set after just four days. I'd highly recommend this trip.

Just got back from the canoe across Scotland trip and it was honestly one of the best things I've done in a long time.

The scenery was incredible, but what really made the trip was the people. I turned up not knowing anyone and left having met a genuinely great group of people hat made the whole experience even better.

A huge thank you to Matty. He was a fantastic guide, kept everyone safe, taught us some useful skills, and got a group of strangers working together and having a laugh within no time. I also wasn't expecting the food to be as good as it was. The meals he cooked in the middle of nowhere were better than some I've had in actual restaurants.

I'd happily book another trip tomorrow. Highly recommended.
