I contacted Skilled Handyman Services after being let down on numerous occasions by other companies who simply fail to respond to my enquiries. Following my initial call Skilled Handyman Services responded immediately with a documented work detail and quotation and were able to carry out minor repair work as agreed within 48hrs. Their professionalism, responsiveness and customer service is exemplary. I shall have no hesitation in placing further work with them in the future.

We had our hallway painted and other handyman jobs. We were very impressed with the painter he was obviously very highly skilled and was polite , friendly and efficient.

I have never booked a gas man in my life and you automatically think you're going to get ripped off with the call out etc. From reading the reviews on trust pilot and checkatrade I thought I would give Skilled Handyman a go. Great service - all transparent no problems and the gentleman that came round had already taken his shoes off before I opened the door!
You can def trust these guys and it is 100% thumbs up all the way :)

I was really pleased with the overall workmanship and the friendly and professional service, all of which I found to be excellent! The workmanship was of a high quality and completed efficiently. Umesh was highly professional with a pleasant and helpful attitude. I will definitely be using Skilled Handyman again and will be recommending them to my friends and family.

Work was carried out in a good and timely manner. The first time I took service from skilled handyman and quite happy.

I first used Skilled Gasman/Handyman Services when my boiler started acting up last week. I was given a same day appointment and the technician arrived early, fixed the boiler and ran basic checks as well, just to make sure everything was working as it should. I then found out about their other services including electrics! Mark was over first thing and fixed an electric fireplace and changed over plug sockets with no fuss at all. Top company with friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely use again!!

Very professional and great service. Had a leaking roof. They came and fixed it with no problems. Used this service many times. I highly recommend them. You can't go wrong!

Booking was straight forward and efficient. The electrician arrived at the agreed time, was friendly and polite. Worked efficiently and completed the work to a high standard. Reasonable price for a very good job.

Three months ago we hired Skilled Handyman to do a few jobs around the house after confirming on telephone that they are indeed able to do them. As there was a little bit of plumbing involved we agreed to pay the considerably higher daily rate than an average handyman would normally charge. From the four jobs, we needed, they started two on 1/9/16 and left both unfinished. Many email and telephone conversations and some no shows later, they sent another guy who kept working on the loft hatch but left that unfinished, too and said that he couldn't complete the plumbing either! Skilled Handyman decided that this was all they could do and charged us the full daily rate! Nobody is really skilled in anything and the company sends the workmen with minimum supplies which then have to be agreed by the office and purchased during the time, the customer is waiting and paying! In our case, my husband rushed out to get the supplies whilst he took a personal call and waited! That was a terrible and very expensive experience and I have taken photographs of the poor standard of workmanship!

As the loft hatch hasn't been sealed and painted as promised and the pipe hasn't been connected, we never considered the job to be completed!
Also, we were never advised that the tank needs to be moved! Ironically they only recommended a 'skilled' plumber for another £75/hour!
And, after promising immediate payment despite everything and on the day of the invoice, Skilled Handyman threatened with additional charged and debt recovery charges!
And, part of the invoice aren't even clearly explained, numbers are just added on without further explanation!
I'm happy to provide correspondence and pictures to prove every single claim to keep other innocent customers safe from making the mistake of using this company!
We don't have a problem, paying an appropriate rate for a real plumber, just not one associated with this company! Considering that our final bill is £380, we payed £47,50/hr for an unskilled handyman!
After Skilled Handyman breached serious data protection laws by publishing my name, my husbands full name and his personal email address, they reported us to Trustpilit for publishing sensitive information instead of removing it as requested. I have taken a screenshot of their original message for future reference!
The company argues hat my husband praised their work but obviously fail to notice that he stressed that our main concern was the overflow pipe which hasn't been moved at all.

Work completed quickly and efficiently. I'd definitely use this company again.

I wanted a variety of small odd jobs done and I found Mark to be extremely helpful, competent and efficient. He got them all done within the hour and tidied up afterwards.

I am really pleased to have found this company. The verbal bookings were backed up with an on line confirmation. The handyperson was excellent and discussed my priorities for the appointment and how best to achieve them within the time to maximise completion of tasks. He was courteous and worked in an orderly manner.
There is a specified time of arrival but this can be slightly dependent on the completion of the job the handyperson has before your appointment. However, the customer service team keep you appraised and I have to say I was very pleased that I did not let this put me off initially. Having a central contact is a priority and an excellent way to have ongoing communication.The second appointment went to time.Therefore, I would throughly recommend this company and will definitely use again.

Totally recommend this company, we had a job that had to be turned around at the last minute. They stayed in touch and kept the project moving, very reassuring!

I had a folder full of important documents which had fallen behind a kitchen cupboard that I needed urgently. The technician was very professional and speedy. Within an hour he had removed the cupboard panel, retrieved the folder and sealed it back up. Would 100% use this company again!

I was absolutely delighted with the work carried out to tidy up my very old fascias/ They looked like new after Handy Man had got to work on them. Cannot recommend this service enough. Trustworthy, honest, reliable, tidy. I will definately use this service again.

We were very pleased with the service we received. The electrical and tree work was faultlessly executed and all was left tidy. Nick was friendly, courteous and hard working.

My call was dealt with straight away and a plumber was arranged to visit later the same day. The problem was fixed straight away and the cost was very competitive. I would strongly recommend the skilled handyman and will definitely use them again
