I truly appreciate the quality of fish and it being "wild caught". I did at one time ask why I do not see filet of sole on the website. I received a quick response saying that it is not sustainably... Mehr ansehen

True restaurant quality, fresh tasting, fish. The portions are perfectly sized and are so delicious. I could not be happier with the quality and selection.

Sockeye & Atlantic Salmon are equally delicious with generous portions and to make it better, their management actually cares by calling their customers to ensure what they received meets expectations. That is "old school" and appreciated!

Great gift idea

Sizzlefish made Christmas gift giving a breeze this year! Instead of sending gift cards to family members out of state I was able to surprise them with a variety of healthy meals to start the new year eating well.

THE BEST SEAFOOD AROUND

The Scallops are number one in my book! Each variety of seafood that I have tried from Sizzlefish has been delicious. Whatever you are doing, please keep up the fantastic work! I will definitely be a lifelong customer.

EDITED Portions really are very small!

There is a great marketing opportunity here for SF. Put a large sticker on all orders that say "Item is larger than it appears!" When I defrosted these filets, they actually got bigger! All that panic and disappointment wasn't entirely necessary. Portions were maybe on the medium size in the end. Not as bad as I thought.

I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass. I read reviews saying the portions were small, chalked it up to the current economy, and ordered six filets instead of four. My issue is that the filets they show on their website are an inch or more thick, really meaty and beautiful. The reality? The filets are the size of my desktop printer cartridges! Small and only a half inch thickness at best and only then on one end. I happily pay for good food that is sustainably sourced but this product was a huge letdown and made me regret the purchase. Really disappointed in the false advertising and product.

Buy beware sizzlefish doesn't sizzle..

My experience with Sizzlefish was disappointing. I paid $124 for 12 softshell crabs, but the largest was only 3 inches. After emailing customer service, I was required to measure each crab before they would send a replacement. Regrettably, the new order was even smaller, and I would advise others to be cautious when purchasing from this company.

Although my shipment came completely…

Although my shipment came completely frozen I was so disappointed on the size of my soft shell crabs. They were literally the size of my index finger and I am a female with small hands. The body was wide as my thumb and long as my finger. I had to compare size with my fingers beat they were definitely smaller than my hand. One and done!!! A big rip off!! Over priced!!

Received a box of warm smelly fish :(

Received my first box of fish from Sizzlefish. I was home to received it and opened it up to find a distinctly fishy smell. Opened it to find that the fish wasn't frozen. In fact, it wasn't even cold. It was WARM. Absolutely outrageous. I immediately cancelled my subscription and complained to the company and requested a refund. I have used other fish delivery services that were able to deliver frozen product and wanted to try Sizzlefish for different variety. Never again. Caveat emptor.

Terrible!!

Terrible!!! Ordered Sea Bass and it was less than 2 ounces for $25. Talked to Ethan Spivey at Customer Service. Didn't care. Offered a generic reply wiyh no solution. Never again

I ordered 24 soft shell crabs and used…

I ordered 24 soft shell crabs and used a code for 6 extra. Order showed the 6 extra crabs but they never showed up. When they email you for a review the email won't let you write a bad one. Havnt heard back about my missing crabs yet.

I have been ordering for two years now

I have been ordering for two years now. My favorites are the Ivory Salmon which I had here for the first time and the rainbow trout that i fixed exactly like the recipe that they included. The only possible down side could be the price, but I feel it is worth every penny. It always arrives frozen and in great shape. I am SOLD ON THIS COMPANY!

Sizzlefish is a complete rip off

Sizzlefish is a complete rip off. I paid $24.00 for a piece of red snapper and it was smaller than my finger. Not even worth the cost of heating up my grill or oven. It will go in the trash.

I spent $179.00 with a note to be sent…

I spent $179.00 with a note to be sent along with it to my recipient.
They sent only 1/2 of what was written by me.
Nora, in "so called" customer service lied repeatedly to me by telling me that it was sent as written.
It was NOT. I was sent a picture of the card as to what little of my note was actually sent.
Shame on Nora & Shame on Swindlefish.

Extremely expensive

Extremely expensive. We've order several times over the past 2 years. The delivery was fine, but if you want to find a coupon code you'll have to search the web... annoying. Three stars for the taste of its products, minus 2 stars because there are no photos of the packaging online, no brand name on the fish packaging itself, and no instructions on how to cook, for example, the crab cakes. The video shows someone placing them straight from frozen into a frying pan, but the only directions for everything fish is "how to defrost the seafood." As for customer service, for the first order, I searched and found a coupon but it would not load, and called... yes, the young lady was a bit obnoxious. Also, we questioned how authentic the "Faroe Island" salmon is because it is not fatty at all. It should be quite fatty and full of omegas. We've ordered it 2 times, but all were devoid of the oils that should be in such a expensive fish.

This is my second delivery from Sizzledish and I am so thrilled. The fish was delicious and their prices are great. This fish is fresher than I can buy at the local market. Absolutely love this company!

Promotion Not Honored!

Very simply I asked if a promotion was still in effect; they respond that it was; I placed the required order and did not receive the promotion. When I complained, they replied I had not entered the promotion code that they had not supplied. You cannot trust this company and Customer Service displays an arrogant attitude!

Terrible customer service

I was a subscriber for years and enjoyed their products. They have a rewards program. If you join because of the rewards program you will be seriously disappointed. After years I tried to redeem $45 worth of credit and they never processed it. I called them and they said I could redeem them on my next order. There is not going to be another order. They lost a loyal and longstanding customer because they couldn’t be bothered to redeem my rewards that I requested on their form and on their website.

I have no idea why these other poor reviews are on here. I've received my monthly subscription box from Sizzlefish to be in perfect condition, completely frozen, with fish that tastes fantastic. For a family considering Sizzlefish I would suggest you overlook the poor reviews and give them a shot.

Absolutely the worst customer service…

Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve encountered just trying to purchase a gift card for someone. They sent the recipient an email informing them of the gift then 20 minutes later told them it was canceled. Very embarrassing and I tried to discuss it with them and the explanation was it was a high fraud risk. My cc matched my name, address and phone number so what on earth are they talking about. My cc company did not initiate it. I’ve had this card for 20 years. I left a phone message so they’d resolve it and send the gift and when I didn’t get a call back the so called supervisor responded to my email that they would not be calling me back and she had already dealt with that. Apparently she didn’t want the $100 gift order. I wonder if the owners know how things are handled there.
