I really want to love this. In my opinion the cacao needs to be increased and reduce the stevia as it’s too sweet, I can taste the mushrooms and I have to force myself to drink the first few sips. Once I’ve got used to it it subsides. I put a square of 70% dark chocolate in in the day. I feel calm and relaxed after drinking

Hasn't helped my sleep, which is really disappointing as I had high hopes for this product. I find it too sweet - probably because of the sweetener listed - Steviol Glycosides from Stevia - and unfortunately it also upset my stomach.

If you’re looking for a healthy hot chocolate alternative, DO NOT waste your money on this product. The taste is repulsive and nauseating to your core. I tried twice and both times I felt unwell from both the smell and taste! Sadly a waste of money on a product I was so hopeful for!

Wish I'd read these reviews before purchasing instead of relying on the website reviews. Worst sleep ever. Kept me awake longer. Up frequently in the night peeing. Has opposite effect feel worse than when I started. Lasted four nights and gave in. Waste of money.

I have been taking the marine collagen for a month and haven’t noticed any difference in anything yet, I will stick with it for a few more months though, to see if I see any improvements. The taste is bearable but not particularly pleasant.

Taste is not good, doesn't mix well, been drinking for 2 weeks now (mixed with drinking choc and milk which somewhat masks the taste). Not noticing change in sleep, still waking at night and not feeling rested. Emailed the team but they didn't offer refund or any sort of sympathy. Please do not waste your money

I was sceptical at first, I was worried I wouldn’t like the taste. But it’s delicious. It’s like drinking a mocha. Love it. Definitely buy it again.

Another response from Sixways today, claiming that they have answered my complaint via email. I have checked both my inbox and spam, and no response has been received. I am beyond exasperated.

I don't think it tastes nice, unfortunately, especially considering the price. Slightly chocolate-y but not that enjoyable. I wouldn't recommend nor will I repurchase.

Truely hideous!! This made me physically sick on my initial taste. Thought id give it the benefit of the doubt and tried again the following day. Managed a sip before starting to feel unwell.

Disappointing customer service with no offer of a money back guarantee like many similar brands. The only advice was to try adding various sweeteners. I literally dont think anything would make this more palatable.

I’ve been drinking this unwind mushroom cocoa for a few weeks and could not believe how well rested I felt when waking up. I have felt more energised and less lethargic when waking and will continue to use this brand. So glad I’ve found it!

I recently tried Sixways Functional Mushrooms' Unwind + Recover, as their blend of ingredients seemed promising. I can’t fault the service / delivery, but sadly the Unwind and Recover Mushroom Blend Cacao Dream Flavour, definitely tastes more mushroom than chocolate and the stevia sweetener is awful too. To actually use this I’d need to try to mask the flavour by adding more cocoa and some sugar which obviously defeats the purpose, so it’s a big no from me.

I left a 1* website review and it still isn't showing. I'm sure their software used isn't legitimate.
Anyway, I purchased a bag on the basis of positive reviews. Now I am a huge foodie, eat a lot of different things and enjoy a lot of different flavours and I thought the taste of this was awful - like paracetamol/medicine in water.
I really wouldn't recommend. I am not sure whether I received a gone off batch as there was no dreamy chocolatey/cocoa taste as stated on the site and in reviews. Contacted customer service who were no help

Tastes shit metallic no effects

It is delicious with hot milk! If you leave it for a while it does need to be stirred again but that’s not a problem. I’ve only had it twice so not felt any effects just yet but so far so good! I did try it with hot water and the taste wasn’t the same… I definitely recommend with milk for a creamy flavour and texture.
