As per previous comments I purchased a sink at a premium price due the item being in “stock” after a week of waiting for my free next day delivery I chased it up to find the item wasn’t in stock and should be available in a couple of weeks the item finally arrived damaged. Awaiting damaged item to be collected and refunded.. never again!!!

I love their sinks and taps because…

I love their sinks and taps because there are a lot of designs and brands to choose from their website. I had an easy time placing my order and when my order arrived it was packed well and the products have great quality and would really last for a long time.

Still waiting....

Ordered sink wastes, said next day delivery - emailed to chase up after 3 days. Now have been waiting 10 days...they are no longer responding to emails and I have no idea if these items will arrive in time. We've been templated for worktops now, so time is very tight. I'm now having to look elsewhere to find the same items and hope I can get them in time. Avoid.

Poor customer service

Poor customer service. Placed an order. Was called to say the item would take two weeks to deliver. I was fine with it. Item was delivered, kitchen was being fitted and we discovered the sink was damaged. They refused to replace the item and were pinning the blame on me. Spent £150 on a sink, they were happy to take my money, but then refuse to acknowledge they have provided a faulty item. Now facing a further delay on my kitchen fitting. Shambles of a company. Would not dare use these guys ever again. Avoid them like the plague.

Very poor experience.

Very poor experience.
Strongly recommend do not buy.
Delivered the wrong colour.
Very unhelpful manager and customer services.
I felt I was blamed for their mistake.
Ended up out of pocket for plumber cost as well as upteen calls and emails.

Poor service and products

Delivered a sink in a tatty old wheelbarrow box. Our builder proceeded to put it in storage and then COVID shut everything down. Opening the wheelbarrow box we identified that the sink we ordered was too big for the kitchen. I called and asked whether we could exchange for a different sink, acknowledging that it was sometime since we ordered, and pay the extra. We were met with it's outside of our 14 day window ('computer says no'). You'd expect a little more from a company under current conditions but then again a sink company that delivers sinks in tatty wheelbarrow boxes, maybe you don't. Won't be using again.

Do not use this company they are a scammers!!!…

I purchased a sink at a sale price and 5 days later I rang to check which waste pipes I need, the lady check and told me. I purchase those elsewhere. After 7 days I contacted company as I still had not received my sink. I was told that they only had one, they took two orders and sent the sink to the other buyer. They could not replace the sink as it was expensive from another supplier. They had not rang, or contacted me in anyway. The customer service is unhelpful and unwilling to put you through to a Supervisor. They never even refunded my money, just waited hoping I would never call. Use Taps UK, deliver promptly, customer service amazing and they have a vast selection of sinks at a better price too. Don't entertain this company unless you are happy to be disappointed. Dreadful!!!

Poor customer service

Waited a long time for delivery, after receiving emails meant for someone else to say my sink was out of stock. I emailed to say they had contacted the wrong person, they did not apologise about this.
My order finally arrived only to be the wrong colour and damaged. I contacted customer services , and I am still waiting for a correspondence about the availability of my order. I will have to order from another supplier as I need my kitchen fitting.
Really disappointed with this company. I would not use again.

Franke sink

After searching the internet I found what I wanted at sinks.co.uk for an excellent price. Easy ordering, delivery prompt as promised. Would certainly recommend and use them again.

Excellent Quality Product and Customer Service

Ordering from Sinks was a simple process, however at the time of my order their website indicated there was available stock but, this was not the case. It was a minor point as I quickly received a telephone call advising the nil stock position occurred during the peak virus shutdown of industries and this I considered could not be directly attributed to Sinks. I was advised there would be approximately a 7 - 10 day lead time. In addition I was also asked if I wished my payment to be returned to me as a result of this but, as the sink was not an immediate priority I was prepared to wait. I can confirm the order was serviced within the timescale they specified. The Company provided me with an excellent customer service and a good quality product at a very competitive price. I therefore have no hesitation in recommending them to other prospective purchasers.

Don’t bother with this company

The sink was not available for delivery as stated on the website.

It takes a long time to get through on the phone.

The sink was thrown over the garden gate by the courier, causing damage.

I emailed to ask if they could help, five days later, no response.

The service of this company is atrocious. There is probably hundreds of places you can buy a sink in the UK, do yourself a favour and buy from one of them.

Not A Happy Experience.

Unfortunately, the two Carcaso Deluxe stools we bought appear to suffer from Covid 19 reduced hours of working. One of the stools had a laser film firmly stuck to the shiny base and took nearly 3 hours to remove and clean afterwards. The other stool, it was impossible to fit the 4 screws that attach the stem to the underside of the padded seat, they were too short. Also, the 4 countersunk holes in the base were out of alignment with the threaded holes in the stem. This meant the base was difficult to attach and still does not seem secure. Not a happy experience.

My worst customer service experience ever

Awful customer experience. First time I have purchased from this company, and never again! I bought an expensive £340 Smeg double sink (Smeg VSTR3434) which was delivered fairly promptly. I checked the item 7 days later (not checked immediately with delivery driver as delivery drivers just leave items on doorstep now and run away ASAP due to COVID), as I was busy working in Intensive Care for multiple shifts during the COVID pandemic. As soon as we remove from the sealed box, we clearly see multiple bends throughout the item and it’s clearly damaged. I tried on two occasions to call Sinks.co.uk, the first time someone hung up on me (I assume accidentally), and the second time I was 8th in the queue and it was taking forever and I had to go to work so couldn’t wait.
I eventually call again after another group of shifts when I was free, again waited ages but finally got through and was told that a refund wouldn’t be a problem but to just send photos in which I did immediately. I then heard nothing back for days so I called again and they apologised for the wait but that they were organising for the item to be picked up and returned before processing the refund, and they would call me back. Again I called back days later and this time I’m informed that they will not refund me because I reported the damage after their 7 day “grace period” hidden in the terms and conditions (which you have to click on and read huge amounts of text - who actually does that?!?). They explained that this was the contract they arranged with their suppliers, even though I see nothing stating 7 days in the T&Cs now when I look, only about checking on delivery.
I’ve never encountered such poor customer service, especially for expensive items. And especially during times like COVID where things are not as they usually are (I.e. difficulties contacting people, no workers on site, delivery drivers social distancing and leaving quickly, etc).

On top of all of this, when I was told it would be refunded (they didn’t have any more in stock to exchange), I bought the same sink from somewhere else (East Coast Kitchens - very good company) as we needed the sink urgently for countertop templating. I perhaps would have tried to make the initial sink work for that price but now I don’t even have that option thanks to the false information I was fed multiple times by Sinks.co.uk!

Really very poor experience, completely unapologetic and did not acknowledge the fact that I had to keep calling and chasing despite the fact they could have prevented all of this. I will never buy from here again. I would rather pay £100 more for this sink but from somewhere else that actually cares about their customers. The fact I’m leaving such a long and detailed review should show how disappointing an experience this has been. Worst customer service experience I have ever had.

Good Service

Pleased with my purchase of a Franke rollamat. Although had to wait for it to come back into stock due to Covid19, I received a call to advise there was a delay and I called a week later to check the status of my order, which they were able to advise me on. Arrived a few days later.

Great sink

Very easy transaction, sink looks perfect not had it installed yet but it looks a good sturdy sink can't wait to see it in situ with my new worktops. Quick delivery and well packaged. Would recommend to friends and family.
