I ordered a tap which turned out to be the wrong one. That was my mistake. I wanted to return it……what an absolute joke of a process. The process started in mid October and I finally got my refund in early January. Be wary of the outrageous admin fee for returns. In short, be very sure the product is right else look forward to a long process. Never again.

TERRIBLE
TERRIBLE! Ordered a kitchen sink, chose the day well ahead of schedule for kitchen fitting. Phoned them on delivery day as sink did not arrive and they then told me it was out of stock??? What a joke, they did not even bother to tell me. If I had not have phoned I could have wasted more time and not got any other sink on order in time. Terrible service. AVOID!

Sent wrong kitchen tap but unacceptable excuses
I bought a kitchen sink and a kitchen tap at sink.co.uk and received them on 21 November 2025. After I received the products, I found a defect at the sink’s corner… that made me so disappointed. The most surprising me was the tap, it comes with a plain carton box with no logo or brand name which obviously not the brand I bought in my order. After I search online with the model no. appear on the box, its belongs to other brand just with a similar outlook which is not shown on the sink.co.uk website. So I talked with their customer service, they said that it is the same product. It is an unacceptable excuse absolutely. The non-branded tap is not the same as the one I ordered with different specifications. Also, I can find this tap on other website with lower price. This make me so angry with their reply. Based on the damage of the sink, the staff promised provide a 10% refund of the payment. However, after many days on phone and email, the case still unsolved. What a nightmare for purchasing with this company!
It is a kind of cheating!

Great service
After reading the negative reviews, I was hesitant to place an order with sinks.co.uk. However I gave them a call on Friday before 12pm and spoke to a helpful rep to confirm tap availability. I placed the order online, with tap arriving next day (Sat) with no issues, and tap/packaging in perfect condition. Very pleased with the price and service. Will certainly use again.

delivered my sink to wrong address. now there refusing to redeliver and don't even know the house name or person they left it with it and saying its my fault. and i need to buy another one. I'm reporting to trading standards my credit card fraud team extremely unhelpful company

poor communication and service
Poor experience with this company - I should have checked the reviews first! .
Ordered a Franke Maris 4 in1 filtration kit along with a number of other items approx 5 weeks ago. Their website stated it was in stock. It didn't arrive with the rest of the order (which also was delayed) but with no proactive communication or explanation from the company. I have chased on numerous occasions over the past few weeks, they rarely get back to you. Website still states item is in stock (despite mentioning this was misleading and inaccurate), it's definitely not. Have contacted Franke direct who say its not available through their suppliers for another 1 - 2 weeks minimum. So have contacted company to request refund a few days ago. Guess what - no useful response and no refund!

Frustrating refund process and fees
I was really disappointed with the quality of the Artisan tap I ordered from Sinks.co.uk (owned by Austen Group Ltd). It turned out to be manufactured by Ellsi, a brand I don’t rate, and nowhere on the Artisan product page was Ellsi mentioned.
I requested a refund within 5 days of purchase due to concerns about the product’s quality and the lack of brand clarity. Despite being well within the 14-day cooling-off period, Sinks.co.uk refused to handle the refund directly and told me I had to return the item to the supplier.
The product was returned unused, in perfect condition and original packaging — yet they still deducted £35 from my refund as a so-called “handling fee”. This fee was not disclosed at checkout, and when I asked for a breakdown or final invoice, they simply replied:
“Unfortunately we are unable to provide a final invoice for the refund.”
The entire process was slow and frustrating. I had to chase them multiple times, and even after they issued a partial refund, I still haven't received any clear explanation or proper documentation.
I strongly advise potential customers to:
1. Be wary of unclear product branding (check who the actual manufacturer is and ask them directly if it is not clearly labelled)
2. Read the returns policy carefully (even then, key charges are vague or undisclosed)
3. Know that you might face undisclosed fees, a delayed refund, and no final invoice or breakdown
Overall, a really poor customer experience - I would not recommend this company.

Poor quality products poor customer service, no refunds offered for faulty products.
Less than a year ago I bought an Austin & Co Granite composite Undermount/flush sink from this company. Within two months the sink started chipping whenever anyone washed up. I contacted Sinks who contacted Austin and co… both parties have taken no accountability for the poor quality of the sink. I’m left with a sink not fit for purpose that I will be left out of pocket not only the £280 for the sink but the cost of removal from my oak worktop, purchase and installation of another sink!
Do not buy their granite composite sinks unless you do not wish to use it like a sink!

Efficient and professional
I accidently ordered the wrong product so I phoned to see if I could either replace or return it.
I had to call on a few occasions as the third party were not efficient and so I needed Sinks to act as a go-between.
Each time I was dealt with efficiently and professionally. They couldn't have been more helpful.

I do not recommend this company. It may be cheap but it's poor quality with bad customer service, only paying lip-service to issues.
I bought a Bidbury & Co sink and tap from sinks.co.uk. It arrived promptly, with no damage and was kept securely in the box, indoors until fitted.
At the time it arrived I attempted to sign up for the warranty from Bidbury & Co. They would not recognise the warranty because "our product warranty does not extend to products sourced from (in this case) liquidated stock."
I was more than a little surprised because nowhere on the sinks.co.uk website that this is liquidated stock.
Unfortunately - due to issues with the worktop - the sink was not fitted for 6 months. It was fitted for only 2 weeks when cracks appeared in the sink.
Neither sinks.co.uk nor their supplier will take any responsibility for the poor quality of this sink, and obviously Bidbury&Co will also not recognise or take responsibility either.
We will now have to buy a new sink, waste etc etc and fit it (which will be extremely expensive)
It is certainly not worth buying from this company. I would avoid it and go straight to a trusted company, that recognises a warranty

Excellent customer service
This company really helped me find the right tap to suit my needs. They went out of their way to make calls to find out the specification and got back to me very promptly. It was refreshing to speak to a human and their customer service was excellent. My tap arrived within 24hours. I highly recommend this excellent and their excellent products

A sinking feeling with incompetent SINKS.CO.UK
We ordered a sink that was shown as ‘in stock’ on their website. I rang them a couple of days later to see when the delivery would be and I was abruptly told it would be delivered in about 20 days as it wasn’t in stock. The refund would not be immediate and would be within a few days!!
Now I know why they have such a poor reputation!
A complete lack of customer service!

No refund after being mis-sold the wrong plumbing kit
I bought a two bowl kitchen sink, at the checkout the website recommended a plumbing kit. There were no questions as to the other appliances to be connected (dishwasher and washing machine). When my plumber arrived a couple of weeks later he said it was the wrong plumbing kit. When I asked to return and have a refund they refused, saying it was past 14 days. Anyone fitting a kitchen knows that things take longer than anticipated. They have really poor customer service and I wouldn't recommend them

I don't understand how this company is…
I don't understand how this company is still trading as the number of one star reviews is higher than the number of stars in the sky.
Each disappointed customer stressed the fact that they are outsourcing so they don't even know if things are in stock and take your money before they check that. Things arrive with huge delays and often parts are missing and, like in my case, you wait for almost a month after returning the good for your money to be returned to you.
Don't use them, don't, please, don't! You are better off going somewhere else.

Top notch service
I recently ordered a sink and was really happy with the whole experience. There was a small mix up when I got the wrong item. I called up and spoke to Will and then Niomi, and they sorted it straight away. I’ll definitely be back to order a tap for my utility soon.

Be very wary of using this company
Be very wary of using this company.
I spent £225 and after the goods arrived and I needed some help with a missing part, I had the 'let's fob the customer off as quickly as possible' customer service. They proved, through their bungling incompetence and lack of interest that at a senior level within the organisation they don't have a clue. It's hard to understand how a company remains in business treating its customers in this way. I only wished that I'd looked at their reviews before placing an order, that would have saved me from this ‘worst in class’ service.

Very good customer service
I bought 2 Franke sinks and plumbing kits, sinks were 2nd cheapest place I could find (but cheapest wasn’t in stock). One was missing the overflow kit so I called them. All sorted over the phone and the overflow was delivered the very next day.
