Very disappointed with this protein powder. It does not mix well as advertised, and the taste is extremely chalky and unpleasant.

What makes the experience even worse is the refund policy. If a customer tries a product and is genuinely unhappy with the quality, they should have some reasonable option to return it. Instead, I’m now stuck with 15 packs of protein powder that I won’t use and out the money I spent on them.

I will absolutely be sharing my experience so other customers can make an informed decision. My advice: before purchasing a full box, go to Target or another retailer that sells individual servings and try one first. That way, if you don’t like it, you aren’t stuck with an entire box of a product you can’t return.

In the past 5 months, I have spent over $1,000 on various flavors of FlavCity Protein Smoothie powders. When I placed an order using a coupon code, the Berries and Cream flavor was out of stock, and remained out of stock for quite some time thereafter. When I saw it offered on Amazon for 20% off (without a subscription), I ordered one bag. Unfortunately, Amazon changed the delivery of my order 3 different times, which lost an ENTIRE week of time. Since I wouldn't have had it in time to take with me on a trip, I cancelled the order. I reached out directly to FlavCity to ask for another coupon code to purchase the Berries and Cream directly from them, now that it was back in stock. I was told they would not give me a coupon code, YET they did not have it in stock when I had a code AND they have a store on Amazon.com. Their unwillingness to make this right for a new and very loyal customer is shocking to me. I will think twice before I make any further purchases from a company that does not care about customers. It appears that loyalty means NOTHING to this company! Very disappointing.

I would give this company zero stars if that were an option.

I have been drinking FlavCity protein powder shakes for many months now (Chocolate Peanut Butter flavor) and have not had any problems until now. I opened a new bag a few days ago and made a shake, using only plain yogurt, the powder, and milk. When I tried it, it tasted absolutely horrendous. So I tried it again the next day, thinking this was a fluke, but it was not. It was 100% unplatable (tasted like vomit). I emailed the company to ask if anything had changed. Below is their response:
"Unlike many brands, we do not use “natural flavors,” which are often synthetic additives that help keep flavor and color identical from batch to batch. Instead, we use real whole food ingredients. That means natural variations can occur, just like how strawberries can taste sweeter or more tart depending on the season. Because of this, each batch may vary slightly as we adjust the amount of certain ingredients to achieve the desired flavor.

Rest assured, every bag still contains 20 full servings. We’re always refining and improving to deliver the best possible product made from real food ingredients, and we truly appreciate your understanding and support.

I then asked if they had a money back guarantee. Again, their response:

"We're sorry you do not care for the batch of protein smoothie you received.

Due to the nature of our products, all sales are final. This is stated on our website for full transparency. We appreciate your understanding. For more details, please refer to our policy here: Refund policy – Shop FlavCity

We do appreciate your feedback regarding the flavor and will be sure to pass this along for you. "

Needless to say, I am switching to a far more acceptable protein shake. All I can say is BUYER BEWARE!!
