Assistant very helpful and shoes very comfortable
Assistant very helpful and patient and shoes are comfortable. Also the person I spoke to on the telephone was very helpful about keeping a pair of boots which I have ordered till I am next in Stratford.
I hope they will fit as well as the shoes!

It is reassuring that a shop like this exists as my mother has not been able to find shoes that fit her properly anywhere else.

Disappointed
This was sold as new. Their T&C make clear that if they were returned NOT in the same box, a refund would not be issued.
Yet this company sold me 'new' boots that were clearly not new and sold in a box that had previously been used for a very different model of shoe. They had even taped over the original label
As for the boots. They were sold as size 10. I take a size 10 but they were too smal for me. But they seemed good quality and just what I wanted.

Unfortunately boxes do get damaged in transit, I'm sure you have witnessed couriers mishandling parcels, throwing them into vans etc.
We do as much as possible try to keep the original boxes, however if the box has been damaged by our warehouse team or couriers, we do on occasion re-box the items to protect them.
Goods can be returned in the packaging they were sent out in, we note which items have been re-boxed.
Regarding the sizing, waterproof shoes/boots generally, not always come up a little smaller as the waterproof lining is inside the shoes/boots.

The answer to my footwear prayers…..
Not local to me but the journey was well worth it. Amanda was absolutely brilliant, going to great lengths to make sure that shoes were comfortable and suitable for my needs. Yes, I spent a lot of money but I now have 5 pairs of decent, comfortable, supportive shoes for all different occasions. My posture and balance are both improved with the proper shoes on my feet. Thank you Shoemed, you are awesome.
