Honest, upfront and on time!!

Would highly recommend Ship-A-Car-Direct, as I would definitely use them again if needed. What I appreciated the most, compared to the other companies I received quotes from, was Jennifer’s hospitality forthcomingness. Once Jennifer helped with the initial setup (8/30), it was smooth sailing from there. Vehicle transport was from Indiana to Texas. The carrier picked up the vehicle on the day of the request (9/1) and was delivered the next day (9/2). The service provided exceeded my expectations, especially considering the requested pickup was a holiday weekend (Labor Day).

Buyer beware........They rope you in then bait and switch. They call you multiple times hit you with multiple emails all looking very professional until you take the bait. Car was supposed to be picked up on 7/17/2023 during normal business hours. Pickup contact receives a call from a third party saying car will be picked up between 9-10 pm. Car was not on the junky trailer until well past 1 am because the junky trailer winch did not work. Called early morning 18th for an update and no one knew anything including original contact (Lottie) want answer her phone or respond to any texts after the sale. Called the customer service number voicemail 3x until someone finally picked up. He said he was very sorry for the problem and someone would get back to me. I finally heard from the receiver of the car that by some miracle the car was delivered, still no word from this company. All in all the worst shipping experience I have ever had. I do many transactions with shipping companies, shipping heavy equipment, large industrial items etc. Steer clear of this company. I asked for a reduced rate and to add insult to injury they overcharged me by $20 saying the quote was only an estimate. Attached is the transport vehicle

Awesome from beginning to end. Jennifer was very quick to respond. The company that was used to ship our car was very friendly and efficient. The car arrived earlier than expected!! Highly recommend. The whole process was painless!!!

I shipped my car across country and it only 4 days to receive it. Great communication throughout the entire process. It wasn't an easy process due to the location of my vehicle but Renee and her network got my car to me safe and sound. Ship A Car Direct provided a great service. Very competitive price on enclosed trailer from a challenging pick up and drop off locations. Mike was very professional and communicated with myself, the dealer and the transporter. They picked up my car on time and my car arrived earlier than I expected. Ship A Car agent and the transport driver communicated well with me around delivery time. The car was delivered in great condition and offload was fast and professional. I would definitely recommend this company considering the horror story reviews you see with other companies. I am very satisfied!

100% will recommend Matt and his team at Ship a Car Direct to anyone looking to transport a car. Like the title says the whole process was way better than I thought it would be. The price was well under what I was expecting to pay, the process was super simple and chatting with Matt over the phone was great. Made sure all my questions were answered and that I was well informed. And the best part? I got my new car WAY faster than I thought it would take. + the car was dropped off basically in my driveway. Because of this - i will not hesitate to look nationwide for my next car purchase and hire Ship A Car Direct again.

Stellar 5-star service ranging from exemplary office communication (Renee) to final delivery. At first, I was suspicious about the lower bid thinking it was a bait-and-switch tactic, but they actually followed through on the lower price beating their competitors by several hundred dollars. I plan to use this company again for coast-to-coast transport!

The first time I reached out to Ship a Car Direct to inquire about options, I was connected to a very friendly and knowledgeable rep named Lottie. She explained everything and answered all of my questions, and she was who helped me throughout the entire shipment process. I loved how Ship a Car Direct arranges for you to work with just one rep; is so much less confusing then trying to work with several reps who are all sharing different info with you. Lottie knew me and remembered me when I called or emailed, and she was always so fast to respond. I was shipping my car a little over two thousand miles so I was very concerned about this whole process. I felt like I could completely trust Lottie and that she was there for me if I needed anything. When my order was "dispatched" I had a great experience with the team who actually carried my car; it arrived in perfect condition and exactly on time. I had a great experience with Ship a Car Direct and will only go through them in the future.

Scott was super helpful and informative over the phone, he answered all of my many questions. Manny was my carrier and he was very kind and communicative as he was approaching the drop off location. My car arrived in perfect condition. Their prices are very reasonable for the service and my at was picked up/dropped off within the estimated time frame. I’d highly recommend this company!

Scott was professional from the first call and communicated well through the entire process shipping my car from the East Coast to California. Found a Transporter in less than 5 days even with the small town pick up needed in PA. He was efficient and selected a great carrier that also had the same professional manners needed to build customer confidence to ease the stress of transporting my vehicle. His other team members made sure pick up went fine then the carrier took over with updates on the cross-country journey. Everything ran smoothly with no surprises. My car had no issues arriving. The driver called personally to arrange exact arrival time which made the icing on the cake perfect. Overall A+ service and I'm super happy choosing "Ship a Car Direct" from the many chooses.. Highly recommend them.

Wow and Wow! We had never shipped cars before and were moving from the West to East coasts, a daunting task. I researched companies and then called Scott with Ship a Car Direct. He alleviated my concerns immediately and we signed the contract. They coached me through the process, showed up on time, delivered early and the drivers could not have been better. No damage, just a little dusty from the 3000 miles. Don't go anywhere else, their attention to detail is unmatched. Thank you Ship a Car Direct!!!!!

First time shipping a vehicle. There are so many car-shipping companies that all want your business and selecting a good one is not easy. On a recommendation from a relative, and after getting several bids, I selected ShipACarDirect to ship my vehicle 1800 miles.
I liked the website, and how their online fill-out form works compared to other companies. They take a small amount down and you don't pay anything more until the car is delivered.
The informational videos provided were helpful to understand the process. The phone app is rather simplistic and could use some enhancement to better document the load up, such as a pic for odometer reading, or a current weather statement (very different with dry vs. wet/snow conditions).
Mike was good with keeping me informed via email, prior to shipping, however, I got the impression that they are closed on weekends (I don't blame them) but it would be better if the actual day and time of pickup were better communicated in the form of more updates the day or two before when pickup day is a Monday. The carriers like to fill their trucks and I had a fairly good pickup window of days for them to get the vehicle...best to remain flexible for them to better schedule it. Another difference was that it was an 'Enclosed Carrier' and a bit more expensive to ship interstate, from CA to TX.
The carrier driver delivered the vehicle in good condition, undamaged, 6 days later on the agreed upon contract delivery date and called me ahead of time to let me know he was behind schedule: not a problem.
Based on my experience, a suggestion is to be prepared to meet the driver nearby and get your vehicle where there is plenty of street or large parking lot area as these trucks are very long and cannot maneuver easily.
I would use this company again and their transport carrier, Gorban Transportation Inc, as they provided an effective, problem free, good service, and did what they said they would do.

*** EDITED from 2 stars to 3 as the manager from Ship A Car has contacted me to try and rectify the situation and I appreciate the customer service****. Not a great first experience shipping our car cross country for our move.The cost to ship ended up being more than what was quoted. Second, it was not easy reaching Scott or the 24 hour direct line at Ship A Car. We had to bend over backwards to try to figure out when our car would be picked up and the pickup date ended up being late. Since our driver was late, this resulted in our delivery being a day late with nobody to receive the car, even though I was promised it would arrive in the drop off date that I gave Ship A Car. Our driver Dean was extremely rude, unprofessional and misogynistic when I expressed my concerns about the delivery date since we would not be home to receive the car. All in all, I would try Ship A Car again as I appreciate the kindness shown after posting my review about my experience. I think this company has potential, they just need to vet their carriers a little better.
