All the 1-star reviews are shocking
All the 1-star reviews are shocking, and definitely an example of the phenomenon that only begrudged customers leave reviews.
I’m truly blown away by the quality, price, and customer service of Shiny by Nature. 100% cotton t-shirts that don’t stop at the hips for big butt girls are nearly impossible to find, and they’re delivering. I’ve been buying from them for 3 years and haven’t noticed any difference in size-inclusivity (messaging-wise, or in practice).
The only downside is that everything shrinks in the wash, so you need to size up. There’s nothing on the website about this, but if you read the tag before laundering like you should, you’ll see that you can’t wash 100% cotton, non pre-shrunk clothes in hot water or tumble dry them.
This brand was kind enough to send me a free replacement of a dress I bought that I accidentally shrunk in the wash: no questions asked.
People complaining about the “feel” of the clothes are not used to heavy, thick, quality 100% cotton. They’re wearing “modal” or microfiber or whatever.
Yes, their marketing with “everything being on sale all the time” creates artificial scarcity and is manipulative. Lots of brands do this. If you’re a literate consumer it’s not a problem.
