Got cheap reading glasses instead of high tech glasses ordered.
I do not recommend SHAVIKA , the glasses are not accurate with the ads in tv, poor quality and although I thought I had done a good deal it turned out I was ripped and taken advantage. One of the 4 glasses I bought broke … they advertised as unbreakable and they adapt to weather well not at all they broke . Customer service apologized and reimbursed me 23 out of 88 euros
After many e-mails and offers staring from 10% credit and enventually a refund of 10%, I did not accept.
After my Trustpilot comments and mentioning that they were trading under fraudulent conditions and I was reporting them to the Europen Commission, they suggested 20%, I finally agreed to 50% to end the disaster. They could not even calculate 50% correctly and left me short.
I would not recommend purchasing from this company or its subsideries under anty circumstances. They also use a company called Ustrtvoid for their financial transactions.
Total scam. They advertise "acacia wood kitchenware" via YouTube. Stupidly, I fell for it and paid £47 for a non-existent item. The "kitchenware" simply failed to materialise. I have lodged a complaint and claimed for refund via my credit card company. Clearly, Shavika are notorious scammers and it's time they were shut down and the whole sleazy lot of them charged with fraud.
What a shower of criminals this Shavika website is. I ordered the Advent Calendar of 24 "Die cast American Classic Cars". Absolutely nothing die cast arrived. 24 1" pieces of flat plastic with a car sticker on each. No wheels, no movement, a tiny piece of flat plastic. And to make matters worse there is no 'drawers' to open like a proper Advent Calendar. These pieces of cheap plastic are housed in a tray with divots and tray is then wrapped in household kitchen plastic wrap. These people need to be held to account. Total false advertising. Product is NOTHING like it was advertised both in picture and in word. €35+ Shipping. Total fraud
This company is a sting and a total con !
The adverts do not represent truly
the products. AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!
I purchased two different products from Shavika, and both turned out to be dramatically different from what was advertised.
1. Adjustable-focus glasses (−7 to +7 diopters)
Shavika advertised glasses with an adjustable diopter range from −7 to +7, claiming they could accommodate different vision requirements. What I received were ordinary glasses with a fixed +2 diopter strength. There was absolutely no adjustment mechanism.
The glasses were also advertised as photochromic, supposedly darkening automatically in sunlight. In reality, they do not darken at all.
2. Cordless vacuum cleaner – 32,000 Pa and 150,000 RPM
The vacuum cleaner was advertised as an extraordinarily powerful device, supposedly delivering 32,000 Pa of suction pressure and a motor speed of 150,000 RPM.
These specifications are highly questionable. For comparison, professional industrial vacuum cleaners from reputable manufacturers often deliver around 25,000 Pa, despite having motors rated at well over 1,000 watts.
The actual performance of Shavika's tiny cordless vacuum cleaner is nowhere near what their advertising suggests. It cannot even attract a small piece of paper from a distance of 5 cm, let alone perform the spectacular cleaning demonstrations shown in their promotional videos.
I seriously doubt that the advertised specifications have ever been verified by actual measurements.
3. Customer service
When I complained about the vacuum cleaner's misleading specifications, Shavika asked me to send photographs of the product.
This response is absurd. Photographs cannot demonstrate suction pressure or motor RPM. Visually, the vacuum cleaner looks exactly as advertised. The problem is its actual performance, not its appearance.
Rather than providing technical evidence to support their claims, they requested completely irrelevant photographs.
My conclusion
After purchasing two entirely different products from the same company and finding that neither delivered its advertised features, I find it difficult to believe these are isolated mistakes.
In my experience, Shavika uses impressive technical specifications and promotional demonstrations to sell products that fall dramatically short of their descriptions.
This is not simply a matter of disappointing product quality. It raises serious concerns about misleading advertising and the reliability of the company's claims.
I strongly advise potential customers to avoid this store. Do not trust the advertised specifications without independent verification.
I also intend to report these practices to the relevant consumer protection authorities.
This is a con and very poor quality.
DO NOT BUY.
I purchased 2 sets of American cars each set has 24 car as a advent I paid £63.45 for the 2 sets, what I received was cheap plastic 1 dimensional bits of rubbish not cars with movable wheels etc just flat bits of nothing waste of money and they should be reported to trading standards
I can't afford to pay this money and get nothing in return they were supposed to be a Christmas gift
Please don't buy anything from this website
Please, DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY, all they are doing is taking your money and sending you rubbish, I ordered the car advent calendar, and what the advert showed, was actual cars inside drawers on the calendar, but what did I get, behind each numbered bit of card, NO DRAWER, was a bit of plastic with a sticker of a car stuck to the plastic, this company is nothing but con artists and cheats, stay away, do not buy from them and do not get cheated as I was, TWICE, I know, "cheat me once, shame on them, cheat me twice, shame on me", but I will do everything in my power, like leaving bad feedback and trying to ensure no one else gets caught out, they do not send you what the advert says they will, you don't get anything like the advert, as I've said shavika is nothing but a front company to con, cheat and steal your money, you have been warned, stay away from shavika
A scam company based in China (yep, you guessed it) creating adverts for fake products. Current regurgitated offering is for a tiny, smaller than palm sized, flashlight that offers up to 600w power output on a 20000mAh battery (it can’t & it doesn’t). Anyone technically minded will know that a 20000mAh battery is almost the size of a small brick and just as heavy. The advert suggests the tiny flashlight can recharge a phone (it can’t).
Don’t waste your money!
This is a scam. Don't buy. None of the promised functions work. It is just reading glasses with +2 magnification.
I wish I had checked with Trustpilot first! This site shows what appears to be decent die-cast model cars in an advent calendar. What they ship is tiny plastic tabs with pictures of cars on them. Total scam.
Another YouTube scam advert like almost everything now advertised on it you can find it on AliExpress in this particular case for £6.
“Bringing fighter jet technology to your car.” 🤣
BIG BIG SCAM, DON'T BUY THEM...❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️
This is a total scam. The advert shows an advent calender with 24 toy cars inside. Being lovingly admired by a boy and his Grandad. What you actually get in each drawer ,is a cheap, printed plastic cut out key ring with a picture of a car on it .Total rubbish. They should be ashamed of themselves.
Lying advertisement on youtube. SCAM chinese site.
