Items not in stock
Seymour’s accepted an order from me early January for 3 cushions and a throw. I was notified the throw was out of stock in January and told cushions would come from supplier. Here we are end of Feb and still no cushions. Notified yesterday that the supplier had only sent Seymour’s 2 cushions! It would take till April to receive the third cushion.
Terrible service and very disappointed. I’ve ordered the third cushion elsewhere and it’s being delivered today. Other companies can do it Seymour’s! Won’t use this company again although have done in the past with no issues.

Thank you for your review. We are genuinely sorry that you feel disappointed on this occasion, particularly as a long-standing customer of ours.
At the time your order was placed in early January, our website clearly showed that the items were not held in stock. We made this clear in our communication, as we always aim to be transparent rather than over-promise.Unfortunately, after placing the order, we were informed that the throw had been discontinued by the supplier something we were not advised of in advance. When you then requested to amend the cushion quantities, we immediately contacted the supplier again and have only just been informed that the third cushion would not be available until April, as new stock was expected from France.
We completely understand how frustrating the changing timeframes must have been. While the delays were due to supplier availability, we appreciate that the overall experience did not meet your expectations on this occasion.
We are very grateful for the 12 orders you have placed with us since 2019 without issue, and as a small family business we are proud that the vast majority of our reviews reflect the level of service we consistently strive to provide.

Excellent Customer Service/Great Prices/Quality Goods
First time I had shopped on this website and I was not disappointed from start to finish. My standard delivery was updated to next date and communicated to me by email. Communication was faultless throughout. I had to return one item and received the same level of communication and help ie excellent. Although returns are not free you have the option of using the sites own couriers (cost deductible from refund) or returning using your own courier and paying. The items I kept (towel/flannels) were top quality at a great price. I will certainly browse/shop on this website again.Other well known websites could learn a lot about customer service from Seymour’s Home.
