The best school to train your service dog by yourself.
I now have my life back. Stella is my fully trained PTSD Service Dog. This program equips you to successfully train your dog. It was nice to always have someone there when I needed assistance. I believe that this program is an excellent opportunity for anyone to train their service dog for their needs.

Training my 2nd dog through SDTSI!
I have trained my current medical alert service dog through SDTSI and the experience was amazing. I recently purchased a puppy who is now my service dog in training and I completed the puppy course with her and am ready to transition to the cardiac service dog class. I highly recommend SDTSI as it is a great resource and guide to help you train your service dog prospects!

Sketchy-so many typos
Sketchy-so many typos within the first 3 sessions. I started the puppy course and the questions after the sessions were very basic. I purchased the puppy course and the psychiatric service dog course. I just didn't feel comfortable that this was legitimate and didn't want to lose all my money. Refund policy is harsh.

We are truly sorry that you are not pleased with our Puppy Course! The lessons are designed to help people with no experience learn the basics of how to raise a puppy and work on its manners, so it can have the potential to become a reliable service dog in the future. The sessions should provide the basics, especially if the handler is a new puppy owner, who lacks experience and needs guidance.
The first three lessons you completed, are mainly theoretical, while the next ones are more practical and include potty training, crate training, impulse control, basic obedience commands, and tips on how to address behavioral issues common in puppies. The information gradually transitions from easier to more difficult tasks for pups, so that it can encompass various aspects of puppy ownership and benefit many people.
Also, we appreciate you sending us screenshots of the typos you have found. We apologize for the typos and confirm, that these have already been fixed.
I affirm that our programs are legitimate and aim to help people train their dogs properly, with the help of positive reinforcement techniques.
Also, we are affiliated with several organizations, including a law company and a veterinary hospital, to provide better support to service/companion dog handlers!
Regarding our refund policy- please note, that it is clearly explained on the website, in the section "Terms & Refund Policy". Two days after you contacted our representative and had a short communication with them, a refund was issued per our policy.
All the information on the website is clear and understandable so that our potential students take it into account and make an informed decision.
We are aware of the fact, that every person has their own preferences, and one program can not suit all individuals. However, we invested a lot of time and effort to create content, that is easy to follow, helpful, and understandable.
We hope you will find the program that suits you and your paw friend the best!

Be Prepared to Commit and Follow Through
I am thankful that I came across the Service Dog Training School web page. It was just what I needed without spending thousands of dollars for having my dog certified elsewhere. They have enabled me to train at home without the burden of traveling long distances. This was so important as I am unable to drive. I could work at my pace and within my abilities. Many people could benefit from this program who otherwise might be prevented by financial circumstances or other restrictions. This program offers great options but as with anything accomplishing this course requires dedication to maintain continual training and daily dedication. Before embarking on this path one must understand having a service dog must be a well thought out plan. Otherwise, if its just a whim, one will fail and perhaps tarnish the whole concept of having service dog and those that do get great benefit.

Heartfelt thanks to The Cardiac Alert training course.
The Cardiac Alert training course is well designed, well researched and well written. My dog is a three year old Maltese mix who excels at focus but, at the start of our training, had difficulty with socializing, having been born during the COVID lockdown. The exercises in the course, along with the opportunity to take each module at our own pace and spend time in our weakest areas, were a big factor in our successfully graduating. I am a great grandmother but had no trouble understanding and following the excellent tuition (with a little help from my very kind tutor). Cheers, SDTS.

Express Psychiatric Service Dog Training
This was a great course that you can do at your own pace. Feedback is very quick so you can progress to the next lesson.
I was told the Express course would take about 1 week. Absolutely no way. My dog is already very well trained and is easy to train. I think 1 week would not allow a dog to digest new information or commands. Plus, if you have health issues a week is just too much too fast. If you want to go at a very comfortable pace for both you and your dog, give yourself 3 weeks to a month. This is just my opinion.
And Vincent my tutor was great. Thank you very much Vincent for your hard work and quick responses...much appreciated!

How much time a team might need to complete the course, depends on many factors, including the dog's age, training background, and temperament. However, we completely agree with you, that not rushing the process and training at a comfortable pace is very important for the dog to understand the commands and become consistent in their response.

SDTSI is AMAZING
SDTSI is AMAZING! The trainers are so nice and genuine, it felt like a scary process to start to get your dog trained as psd but our trainer Vincent was seriously the best. He made us feel so comfortable and like we could accomplish anything. The course was set up super user friendly. There was so much knowledge behind the lessons, and the physical training sessions were so beneficial. It was amazing to see my psd working from the start. I couldn't recommend SDTSI enough for anyone looking into training a service animal.

Hard work, but it really pays off
I recently had the privilege of participating in an the Psychiatric Service Dog online course that aims to guide pet owners through the intricate process of training your own service dogs. Developed by a team of highly skilled and certified dog trainers, the course covered an extensive array of topics, ranging from fundamental obedience to specialized psychiatric service dog tasks. I found that my trainer/teacher, Dani was easily accessible answering even my hardest questions.
One of the standout features of this course is its meticulous and step-by-step approach, allowing participants to comprehensively understand and implement each aspect of training. The course content is structured in a clear and organized manner, making it easily digestible. This thoughtful design ensured that I was able to experience success, regardless of of my prior training experience.
The inclusion of essential tasks in the course curriculum is what sets it apart. These were time intensive but helped me with accountability. The course addressed critical areas such as public access manners, deep pressure therapy for calming effects, tactile stimulation to disrupt overload, medication reminders, and other types of assistance during crisis moments. The breadth and depth of the tasks covered exemplify the program's commitment to preparing service dogs that are not only obedient but also capable of providing crucial assistance to.
Moreover, the focus on specific training for aircraft and crowd control, panic prevention, and obedience in public settings is praiseworthy. I found this section especially helpful. Definitively do the PSD certificate
I spent almost a year training my dog as a PSD with service dog training school. If I ran into issue the tutors were really Helpful with feedback and I really appreciated the spore at which they marked my work and provided feedback. I would highly recommend the course it’s modules are well out together and allow you to embark on a journey that with work and focus will not only deepens your understanding of having a PSD in general but will deepen your relationship with your dog.
