Delivery driver who lied about my delivery

I usually have no problem with deliveries but today the driver left the parcel on the doorstep, in full view of the road. He didn’t knock on the door and it was only that I saw him drive away that I knew someone had been to the door. The message said he had left it in the greenhouse, liar.
I tried to send this information to Amazon but it is a tick box exercise and nothing covers problems with lazy drivers who lie about your delivery.
If I could have informed Amazon about this I probably wouldn’t have left this review, they obviously don’t care about customer service.
Lucky I was in and it wasn’t a very valuable item.

It's the Delivery that's bad they always just dump the Delivery anywhere and don't knock or ring the door bell, but yesterday they said item was handed to Resident a clear untruth, so hit a new bottom.

Shame I can't give a minus 10. I have had several products all fail in the last week. Still within warranty but outside the 30 day return window. Trying to speak to a person is a lesson in futility and when after over 2 hours I spoke to a real human they offered me a £5 discount voucher to compensate for a £150 product that was still under effing warranty. It seems Amazon runs roughshod over consumer law much like it does over tax law. Bunch of pirates.

Left items unattended

I can’t get anywhere with customer service, it’s all chat bots that don’t understand what I am saying.
This morning at 7.30 whilst my husband and I were still in bed our doorbell rang. We have CCTV and on our monitor we saw the courier leave my package outside and walk away immediately. He didn’t even look back to see if anyone was at the door.
We live on a main road with an open drive. Anybody could have taken the items, gift cards to the tune of £120. If my husband had not been in I may not have been able to retrieve said items as I am a wheelchair user and cannot reach outside my porch.
This is not the first time I have had to complain about Amazon leaving parcels outside the porch in view of anyone passing by. Something has to change!

Deplorable Business Practice.

Please never sign up to operate as an Amazon seller!!

I opened this account years ago (just with mild curiosity about using it as a seller) I added my bank card then, shortly after Amazon debited my account £30 without getting my consent or even making me aware of this debit.

I found out years later, by which time they said it's too late to debit the money they stole from me.

They took it, saying it was a 'subscription charge', for what I have no clue, as I never used the profile to do anything..

I later wrote to Amazon in detail on multiple occasions saying that I would like a refund of the money listed on my profile that was taken from me, and they came back at me with small print saying that I was too late. because there's only a 90-day window to get a refund.

The website is shockingly clunky and hard to navigate. Good luck with trying to find a way to contact Amazon to get any support.

When you finally do. The staff are also cold and incompetent. Taking days to respond and not being able to respond with contradictory information.

Some staff told me I could get a refund, while someone told me I could not.

The amount of time and energy I spent trying to get my money back that they stole from me, out of principle, was horrifying.

I've ended up having to give up and feel powerless to do anything..

I imagine they are doing this to millions of users.

Subject: Complaint about canceled pre-order

I placed a pre-order months ago for a Limited Edition of “The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.”
The shipment was delayed two or three times.

The first time I contacted customer service, they told me there was no problem and that the order would be delivered soon. After several more weeks, I received another message about a delay. I called customer service again, and they said they would look into it, assuring me that customers are important to them — the usual talk.

Two days later, I received an email saying that my order had been canceled.

When I first called, I even saw the product available at MediaMarkt in Belgium, but I didn’t buy it because Amazon had promised to deliver mine. Now it’s sold out everywhere.

For me, Amazon has become completely unreliable. Be careful if you pre-order anything from them.

I have recently stopped shopping using…

I have recently stopped shopping using amazon. I do not wish to sign up to prime. And I am now finding I can get the same items locally or online, for small items with out having £4.99 postage added. An item costing £7 becomes £11.99. So same item ob ebay selling fot £8.50 with free postage is where I will shop. Will use Amazon as a last result. Or to compare items.

Customer loyalty - counts for nothing

I've been a customer of Amazon for 30 years and that counts for nothing. I sold a heavy book priced at £10 and it cost me £6 to ship it. Customer decided it was bought "by accident" and Amazon allowed her to return the book and I have to swallow the £6 shipping cost. I agree if the book was damaged or I didn't describe it correctly but it was perfect. Amazon don't care and all they send me is loads of links to their policies and they can't even be bothered to cut/paste the specific part of thier policy. I plan to remove all my books out of principle.

Take note if a ripoff merchants doesn't deliver the goods paid for

Amazon have drivers who open parcels which defeats the object of putting items in a box to hide what is in it, this went on for 18 months every box opened, that is one a month roughly, and you ring them to tell them and there answer is well
Will make sure it doesn't happen again but it did for 18 months, so of the damaged items I did get a refund for but a lot I didn't, then I was going through my orders and saw an item was not delivered from Oct 24 but if you buy an item and you don't receive it you are entitled to a refund it seems not with Amazon, so if any company you buy from and like Amazon don't deliver try to sort it with the seller first but if you have bought something with you credit/debit card go to your bank and raise a disputed claim, your bank will refund you while they look into it, like I will be doing for this.

Fake Wahl Trimmer Bought on amazon

I purchased a Wahl Trimmer of £119.99 on amazon. The item sent to me happened to be a fake Wahl Trimmer. You can't know this by the picture on the advert, until you receive your order. I returned the item, but the seller (PG BEAUTY STORE) refused to return my money. Not a single message from PG BEAUTY STORE. They kept silent after receiving my returned item. I had no choice, but to notify amazon. Now, amazon is making effort to return my cash through their A-Z guarantee program. Please, make amazon your least place to buy item as the product authentication is not guaranteed anymore. There are now plenty of fraudsters that claimed to be third party sellers on amazon. This practice by amazon has given rise to fake item being sold on amazon. Be careful!

Bought Bose open earbuds on Amazon…

Bought Bose open earbuds on Amazon looked to be not genuine returned it for a full refund. Now money stuck for 2 weeks no refund yet been made. My huge amount is now with them not releasing it. Extremely annoying

So im still waiting 3 refunds that I sent back weeks ago
Then I ordered something and it was coming from usa but it said there's been a problem they think it got broke but ive got to wait 4 weeks for a refund how does that work not my fault not my problem but they have made it my problem cos ive got to wait weeks for my refunds

Amazon Tracking System

Amazon Tracking System used to show how many drops away their driver was and you could use this to gauge when they might be delivering your stuff.

For a while now this hasn’t been the case- I don’t know if this service was a cost they cut or it’s just not working properly.

Unreasonable delivery cost

Hi,
I’m trying to switch to a full-price Amazon Prime membership, but your system keeps trying to renew my old student Prime, which I don’t want anymore.

I’ve made it clear I’m not looking to verify student status, but support keeps replying with the same message asking for student proof. This is not what I’m asking — I simply want to upgrade to the regular (non-student) Prime plan at full price.

Right now, without Prime, I see £4.99 delivery charges on almost everything, even orders over £40 — and sometimes £4.99 per item, which is unreasonable.

I’ve been a member since 2017, based in Manchester, UK, and would appreciate proper assistance from someone who can help fix this.

Lost confidence with Amazon

I have had a good history with Amazon with only minor issues which they have dealt with swiftly. I think they have changed, why I don’t know. I really object to them allowing other suppliers onto their website, you don’t know who you’re dealing with until there’s a problem and you find it’s a business not associated with Amazon. I have lost confidence in buying from Amazon.

Amazon Business Useless

If anyone is thinking of getting Amazon Business UK, think carefully. They take a ridiculous amount of time to deliver!!! We wait for over a week for most orders and they don't pay any attention to the opening hours you give them! Hence, when they do eventually bother to deliver the orders, they are often missed as they come outside the hours supplied. I have had numerous conversations with them and they say it won't happen again, but guess what? It does over and over again!!! Surely it is false advertising if they ask you to supply information on opening hours saying they will keep to it and then not! Lies to get you to use them!!!

Amazon are gone to big for themselves there customer service is a disgrace they don't listen to the customer at all , they don't listen , I had the most obnoxious guy last time , the new thing now is they turn u off in the chat, there prime never gives u next day delivery at all, last time I use this company

Left by my doorstep

Recently, deliveries from Amazon or Amazon marketplace have been left by my doorstep with no attempt to ring my doorbell or even knock on my door. I don't believe that this acceptable as items are insecure and could go "missing". Is this a new delivery policy or are the delivery drivers not doing their job properly? I pay Amazon for deliveries as a Prime customer. It is not possible to contact Amazon directly about this because they categorise their feedback to exclude delivery faults
